Holiday Bar New York Reviews from The Last Year
Oysters were awful, had to literally spit it out
Oysters were awful, had to literally spit it out immediately. Shrimp cocktail looked beautiful, but shrimp weren't fresh. The steak tartare was so salty and was 50% sesame seeds (which was an odd addition to begin with) making it so unenjoyable to chew. Every bite of the tartare felt like a grossly crunchy salty bite.
Cocktails, cocktails, cocktails.
See and be seen. Service is great and the vibe is lively. The food is ok, but no one comes to Holiday Bar for the food. It is a scene, but a lot of fun!
I do see why this place is under 4 stars but let's talk
I do see why this place is under 4 stars but let's talk about the good first Service: the team was amazing when I came here! Super friendly, attentive and fun to connect with Ambiance: let's face it, u wanna go to holiday bar bcuz u saw it on insta or TikTok. Yea it's a vibey spot. So we can give it that. Tuesdays : $10 martinis - we love a deal in nyc Food: not it. Lmao. I'm sorry but the menu is doing too much. Like pick one type of cuisine or do a fusion and lower the prices of everything by $5 bcuz it's giving I heated this up out of a Trader Joe's box.

We made a reservation but it was for the terrace that wasn't available. The staff were very nice giving us a drink while we waited for a table. Pretty small bar. Very white, table cloths. Burger was yummy, great fries. Mini martini, shot and a beer deal. Enjoyable evening!
Holiday Bar felt like a NYC fast food restaurant.
about 10 mins after we got our food and Martinis it was obvious the waiter and staff were trying to turn over the table to other patrons. about 30 mins after arriving we kept being asked if we were done with our barely touched food. we ordered more drinks and were immediately served the bill. we were only there for an hour total with full drinks when they kept coming around to see if we were "still working on our drinks". we felt like we were being hovered over from the moment we got there. we have never had an experience like this and were told an hour and half after we sat down that we had to leave.
Incredible food, as I would expect from the masterminds
Incredible food, as I would expect from the masterminds behind American Bar, and really fun ambiance. The hostess was insanely rude though and lied about them being booked up for the rest of the evening until my friend and I pointed out that Resy said otherwise.
The shrimp cocktail and drinks were good.
The food was decent but the workers were pretty rude. We racked up a 300 dollar bill yet kicked out and told we had to leave.
Went to Holiday Bar after seeing several celebrities
Went to Holiday Bar after seeing several celebrities frequenting the restaurant and thought I'd give it a try with my girlfriends. The space itself is quite nice and I love that they have large booths - making it great for groups and chatting. Our waitress was also really lovely, she had a wonderful personality and had us laughing. Now for the bad, between our group of 4 we tried several different cocktails because with each round they all tasted terrible, some were even undrinkable. The cosmo, the dirty martini, the espresso martini, the lychee martini and even the Casaamigos with seltzer and lime all tasted honestly terrible. The food was also nothing to write home about, french fries were probably the best thing we had. Plenty of other great spots in the neighborhood so I likely won't be back.
Food was mid, ambience was cool and the drinks were decent.
The service was great! Came here during the holidays and it was buzzing but it's more of a trendy place that you see on social then a MUST GO type of restaurant.
Our server Christian was fantastic, he made our experience
Our server Christian was fantastic, he made our experience 100x better after having to wait a half hour for hour table. I definitely recommend this place for a fun dinner
I came here for drinks while waiting for food at a near by
I came here for drinks while waiting for food at a near by restaurant! It was so fun and a nice vibe. The martini 's are sooo delicious and the staff is very warm and friendly. The place is not huge so get here early if you plan to stay for a while. I also was happy to see a few women eating at the bar alone. That always makes me feel more comfortable knowing that this is a place where I could have a meal by myself. Overall, a lot of people also told me. The salads were very popular and very good. But I did not get one as we were waiting for another dinner reservation. But they did look huge so I am thinking of maybe coming back for dinner!
Great spot to catch up with a group of friends.
The martini specials on Tuesdays originally drew me here, but their crispy tuna and lobster pasta were solid dinner choices. I liked the interior design of this place more than American bar, and loved the lychee martinis. The service was great as they let me choose a booth spot and accommodate our group of 4 with ease.

I've earned $150 in a transaction and am not able to send this to my account. It's been rejected 3 times because I'm asking for too much?
The customer support function has provided zero responses and there are so many fees on the deposit process. What the heck? Has anyone been able to withdraw $ from earned bids?

You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.

Someone else posted that they were only able to transfer $50 at a time so maybe that’s why it says you’re asking for too much. I haven’t sold anything yet so I have no personal experience but I would try $50.
