It was an awful experience.
The room we got was tiny and smelled like Body odor so we went and got it switched. Came to another very tiny room but at-least the odor was a little better. The lobby was so crowded and very LOUD at all times, didn't matter if it was morning or evening! Hard a very hard time sleeping, the noise level was horrible at all times. People speaking loudly in the hallways on their phone and it's already past midnight. The breakfast had 300+ people there, bumping into you and no sense of direction or personal space. Some random guy came and sat next to me and my husband without even asking or acknowledging us. Do Not recommend staying there at all.

This hotel is impressive as you are driving up and your taxi pulls into the garage drive to unload you & your bags right at the door to the lobby. The lobby is beautiful, the floors are so shiny you could eat off them (but wait on that until you see how crowded the lobby gets). The lobby is huge with lots of open space and lots of seating. There are several attendants, both outside directing cars & buses as they arrive and inside at the desk. They are professional and attentive, no complaints. Our tour group booked this hotel. I did a little research beforehand and read reviews of small rooms - tiny, in fact & worried that our large bags and us wouldn't fit. I was in a separate taxi from my roommate. She made it upstairs while I went to the lobby restroom (which was very clean). She texted me that the room was too small & she was coming back down. She talked to the desk personnel and they upgraded us to a larger room- a triple for an extra $70/night. We agreed to that. The triple was still small - especially since our room in Bali the night before was massive with a separate living area and separate kitchen, lol. Our tour group selects the hotels and we have the option to change, but the hotel was clean and convenient, so we stayed. I caught a cold and stayed in bed the first day to fight it off. I had a gorgeous view from my window. I would just sit there and take in the sights, and that is another plus this hotel offers is the nice views. We took a stroll around the place that evening and the pool area has gorgeous views, as well. I used the washer/dryer I found in the little 'cubbyhole' on the outside area. It's actually convenient, everything right there. But when there are more than 2 people in there, it gets small real quick! People come from everywhere by busloads and the lobby gets super packed and very loud. But how much time do you really spend in the lobby? The buffet was adequate and didn't seem to run out of food early. We only ate there once, for breakfast. There was a large selection to choose from, but not much food that I recognized.I am normally a huge picture-taker, but I either lost some photos or just didn't feel like taking them since I was a little under the weather. Bottom line, read reviews and stay here if you're not going to be in your room much. The lines at the front desk move fast & the staff wants your stay to be pleasant, so go with it. I would probably stay here again. And see my review of the restaurant attached to the outside ground floor - Tocha Bistro - a lovely getaway even if it's raining, you won't get wet walking the few feet to get there!

at first sight, it was a standard room but then i saw a lot of dust bunnies on corners and the next day after they "cleaned" my room, i spot the sheets are dirty, and the used towel in the chair wasn't moved, but they give me fresh ones so big no for hygiene but overall still a bit bearable
Be the first to ReplySmall but modern, comfy and moderately priced rooms.
Good location for a city trip.Small grocery store located in the basement of the building.Staff at the reception is friendly and fast.
Be the first to ReplyJust passable.
This is a decently-located, decently-priced hotel in Singapore. From what you might find online, it seems like quite the deal, particularly if you don't intend to be in your hotel room too much. In all respects, it's a tempting offer.Problem is, this place kinda sucks in ways that you might not realize until you arrive. The rooms are tiny and poorly equipped. The rooms basically have nothing but the absolute basics - there isn't even normal toilet paper, just a sort of tissue dispenser. There are a ton of light switches, but at the door - meaning, for the most part, that you can't shut off lights from the bed. No irons, no mini bars, no extra towels, nothing. The beds are tiny and nearly as hard as a rock. Cleaning is performed, but barely. The television controls the WiFi and other amenities, albeit poorly. The amenities are lacking. There's no laundry service - there's just a bank of washers and dryers you can use with an insane number of coins (5 SGD per wash, 5 SGD per dry). Irons are in the same location. The gym might as well be nonexistent. There is no ATM on site. The lobby would be beautiful if not crowded with people milling about making a ton of noise.Let's put it this way: if you want something spartan but functional, Hotel Boss isn't a bad choice. But if you want even the remotest amount of luxury or quality, go elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyDo not live here.
roaches everywhere!!!We're currently stuck living in this hotel for another day, and this place is filled with cockroaches!!We got moved from one room to another and its still the same! We have no where else to go so we're stuck here for another day.Customer service has been widely rude, they could of at least offered us an upgrade or our money back. This is not the service one should expect from a 4 star hotel!!!!
Be the first to ReplyHotel Boss was the prefect hotel to stay at for our time
Hotel Boss was the prefect hotel to stay at for our time exploring Singapore. Hotel Boss is proximity to public transit and sightseeing. The staff were very helpful with information on how to get around and what there is to do in this wonderful city. As requested, the staff will give you a map of Singapore and the MRT subway map for free. The hotel was recently built, so it has a modern feel to it. The guest rooms are clean but not very spacious. Comfortable but not much room to walk around. For our size family of 3 it was fine. Most of our days in Singapore we spent discovering the countries culture so a small room was only for resting at night. If we needed more room to stretch out we would hang out on our balcony in our superior double room. At your convenience there is a refrigerator to keep your refreshments cool if needed. The private bathroom offers a few free toiletries such as a toothbrush, q-tips, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and a shower cap. Not only are free products delightful but the floors are made with a smooth pine tiles and the shower has a transparent glass shower door. If your on a limited stay here in Singapore, I recommend Hotel Boss. The location for this hotel makes your options endless on how you can experience Singapore.Feel free to check out travelwithmeko.com for more of an extended review and things to do aroung hotel boss.

I was surprised to see this hotel's reviews because I had a nice experience here. The hotel's at a good location, only minutes drive from the country's main attractions. The lobby is beautiful. The rooms are cute and clean. Best of all, they have mini gym and pool that overlooks the city. It's so gorgeous at night.
Be the first to ReplyThe pictures fooled us.
Disappointing rooms, horrible breakfast and mellow service. Only plus was it was located close to a mrt station, so getting around from there was easy, but still not much close to the hotel.
Be the first to ReplyThis hotel was set up by our tour company that I had booked
This hotel was set up by our tour company that I had booked the end of last year. The reviews that I read were decent and the rooms looked nice.Over the last few months reviews were mixed on other sites like TripAdvisor, google, Yelp, etc. We arrived from the airport to hotel boss. We checked in with ease even though the lobby was overflowing with children. We arrived to our room to discover the smallest room in our travels. We have even stayed at a prison (that was redone into a hotel) in Europe. It was quite a shock for us. We both have two large suitcases and two small ones which clearly barely fit in the room. Our bed was small and we had to be strategic when we walk in the room so we didn't bump into each other. Our balcony was bigger than our room!!!Luckily another local Yelper (shoutout to Nik) tookUs around the city so we didn't spend much of the day in the room. That night when we slept in the room it had paper thin walls so we heard all the outside noise in the hallway at all hours of the night. My husband and I tried to go to the gym at 615 and the gym was pitch dark. It didn't open until 7am. We decided to wait for breakfast and it was not very good and didn't offer that much variety. We decided to leave after one night and cash in on our Marriott points for an upgrade. Please note we don't need a nice hotel. We need a hotel that provides adequate space especially if traveling for awhile. If you are by yourself and staying 1-2 nights this hotel is fine
Be the first to ReplyJust like what the other reviews said, the rooms are tiny.
There's barely enough room for 2 single sized beds. If you plan to use your room to do anything beyond sleep and shower, I suggest that you book somewhere else. The location and price were perfect for our needs. Everything in the city was a cheap Uber ride away and the 24-hour hawker center on the main floor of the hotel is clutch. It doesn't have the greatest food, but it'll tide your hunger over after a night of drinking. With all that said, the service here is pretty disappointing. We called the front desk to ask for an extra glass as there was only one in the room. The front desk told us to clean the one we had and just hung up on us. When I asked for a new towel from housekeeping as they were passing the hallway, she literally started saying things in a very aggressive voice saying she'll be at my room later to change them. Twice our keys didn't work so had to go all the way down to get it reactivated. The 2nd time they were scolding us to not put it next to other cards even though I kept the key in its own pocket the whole time.
