Hôtel Château De Sully Reviews from The Last Year
Old, isolated property
Great staff, excellent restaurant, nice massage, and cool surroundings in the countryside. Old building, no AC, no window screens, bugs in the rooms, no railings on the upper stairs, no elevator. Location is isolated from the town, no deliveries, no transportation besides your car.
Average rooms, fantastic grounds
The staff here are wonderful. They go above and beyond to ensure guests have their questions answered and their needs met. The grounds and building itself are amazing. Very old-school Europe. There are some things of which you need to be aware when booking. 1) The hotel is located about a 10 min drive from Bayeux. If you do not have a car, you will be paying for taxis. There is no shuttle. 2) The hotel is located very close to a moderately busy road and has no a/c (typical of many European hotels). We had no issues with the lack of a/c except at night when we were trying to sleep. Road noise will keep you awake if your room is in the main building. All the rooms in the hotel building face the road. There was a small floor fan provided in the room, but with the windows closed it was rather toasty. If you are traveling in warmer temps and require a/c, I would not suggest booking here. 3) The furnishings are dated and the flooring needs to be replaced. It was threadbare in many locations, both in our room and along the corridors. 4) Showers are hand showers (also typical of many European hotels), and to assess the shower you have to scale a rather tall bathtub. If you have mobility issues, this is not the hotel for you. 5) The lighting in our room was dismal. We had two lamps located against the headboard, the floor lamp switch did not work. The lighting in the bathroom was plentiful, but seeing at night in the room required use of our cell phone flashlights. 6) Breakfast in France is not an American experience. Don’t go into this thinking your breakfast buffet will be similar to that in America. It is more fruit, cheese and small pastries. The hotel does offer a couple of hot options, but they are limited to scrambled eggs and some bacon/sausage. I have seen complaints here about the price for the breakfast, but don’t think that will change if you go into town. In fact, there are only a couple of restaurants offering breakfast in town and they charge comparable prices. If you are not a big breakfast person, there are grocery stores around and a coffee maker in your room. In all, I would not call this a luxury hotel and it is not worth the 4.5 stars in rating. However, it was a comfortable stay if you are looking for an authentic European hotel experience.
No more Michelin star
On the way to the holiday home in Brittany we had planned a round trip through Belgium, Picardy and Normandy. The focus is on food, which is why we chose the Chateau de Sully when planning. In January the restaurant was rated with a Michelin star. We had booked a "Sejour Prestige et Gastronomie" package with one night's stay, the large menu including wine accompaniment and 2 glasses of champagne. When we arrived it was very warm in the room in the main building. However, there was still a room available in the annex. It was much cooler here and there was a terrace. In a 5-star hotel you would expect help with the luggage, but unfortunately not here. The room did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel or even a 4 or 3-star hotel. The toilet flush was turned off at the cistern. It turned out that the flush was running and so the water supply had to be turned off after using the toilet and filling the cistern. The shower was integrated into the bathtub and unfortunately so calcified that the water ran out of the side of the shower head and not through the nozzles in the shower head. The mold on the joints of the tiles was impossible to miss. Even in a historic building, it should be a matter of course that minimal measures are taken to preserve the substance. The food was a big disappointment. Of the 6 courses on the menu, only one was freshly prepared or warm. The starter was supposed to be prepared with St. Peter's fish according to the menu, but a cold salmon dish was served. The advertised cheese trolley turned out to be a ready-made cheese platter, the individual slices of cheese were dried. The restaurant staff were not aware that a half-board package had been booked, and we had to point this out to them. The menu was in no way consistent with a star menu. The reason was quickly found: the restaurant had lost its star in the meantime. However, the price for the booked package had increased by 60 euros. We noticed this when we left: the two glasses of champagne from the evening were charged additionally, despite my having pointed this out. An all-round very, very unpleasant stay. In no way appropriate for a stay in a 5 or 4 star hotel. My wife and I can only advise against a stay

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
