Consistency in excellence!
I have known this hotel since its beginnings, it has not aged a bit, which is rare in this constantly changing environment...don't worry, keep going! Kindness of the staff, always very careful decoration and very good catering/bar are the strong points of the hotel, not to mention its ideal location in Haut-Marais.

Beautiful Boutique hotel in a great location (very close to the Metro station Arts et Metiers). Very friendly, helpful and charming concierge Lazare and Edouard made us feel very welcome and provided us with some great recommondations regarding the area (restaurants, bars, sights). Thank you Lazare and Edouard! The rooms are very clean, very practical with a beautiful interior. Very good bed/bedlinen and a great showerdesign (well choosen material for sink, floor and walls). The housekeeping does an excellent job (always spotless clean). We felt all the time during our 6 nights stay very comfortable in this hotel. The location slightly off the always busy Marais but within walking distance to a lot of great bars, restaurants including the great Marché couvert les Enfants Rouges is perfect. Highly recommend this hotel!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel National Des Arts et Metiers in Paris. The hotel's location is superb, with close proximity to the Louvre, the Seine, and the vibrant Montorguiel street. What I loved most was the easy access to multiple metro lines, making it convenient to explore the city. The hotel itself is stunning, and the balcony added a touch of charm. Although it was a bit unfortunate that the weather was cold and wet during my visit, I couldn't help but imagine how delightful it would be to sit at the balcony on a sunny and warm day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its location and beauty.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic location and stylish hotel, but in need of a refresh
The hotel is very elegant and very well located. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. However, there are elements that are not feasible given the asking price. This mainly concerns the bathroom (room 301), where the shower cannot be hung correctly, the sink does not flow... This is not possible for almost 400 euros per night.

Another visit to Paris and the Hotel National Des Arts et Metiers delivered, once again, an exceptional experience. It's location in the Marais is close to many cultural and touristic locations. The hotel itself is well suited to both business or pleasure with room service, modern amenities, good sized rooms, some with Juliette balconies that feature windows opening to sights and sounds of the locality.

Excellent Hotel located in the Le Marais neighborhood of Paris. Located amongst many amenities, restaurants, shoppes and transit. Clean, fashionable, designed well, good amenities, good service. Highly recommend.

We spent three nights at the hotel, a professional meeting on Friday and a leisure weekend. Reservation on the site. The hotel has obviously been redone, correct decoration, which can be seen almost everywhere. The decoration deserved a personal touch. This is a decoration from a magazine (dark, velvet sofas and armchairs, etc.) basically everyone's taste, that is to say, no one's. Damage ! The facade is beautiful and overlooks a square and a church. The perfect location for me, 10 minutes walk from the Picasso Museum and the Center Pompidou. The welcome is very cold, (like I don't belong, I should be the hotel manager) for a 4 star, too bad, it's off to a bad start. The room is good and consistent with the photos on the site. Very spacious studio room, and good bedding. There is a gym which is good, but the lighting is very insufficient, we are almost in the dark, too bad! A bar we didn't go to, but we heard it at night, and a restaurant. We had dinner at the counter the first evening. Average and expensive Italian food. The wine list is incomprehensible, almost only natural wines or fine wines between €150 and €1500. When we went back to bed, I asked the waitress to keep our half-full bottle of wine for us (natural wine at €39 a bottle), knowing that we had reserved a table for the following day, and the waitress panicked. must ask the manager, that we wait for 10 minutes. The manager, who obviously does not know the wine, asks us if it will not be bad the next day, then advises us to bring the bottle back to our room, upon my refusal and my insistence he finally agreed to keep the bottle in the restaurant bar, too bad! Finally, the rooms can be very noisy, when there are evenings at the bar, which is located in the courtyard of the hotel, if you are tired, too bad for you! Overall, staff who either think they deserve better, or take themselves a little too seriously because they think they work in the fashionable place. Too bad!
Be the first to ReplyVery noisy hotel
The hotel and restaurant are nicely decorated, the room small but comfortable, the breakfast quality. The hotel is well located in a lively area. Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy and this totally ruins the experience.
Be the first to ReplyGreat hotel and staff, slightly off the Marais
Just returned from a lovey stay at this hotel. Staffed with utterly elegant and friendly efficient staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The lounge bar featured a retractable glass roof to make it into a courtyard. Windows in the breakfast/lunch space opened to the street. Breakfast was paid in the rate a good selection of cereals, fruit, pastries and scrambled eggs and bacon. Two types of juice and whatever hot drink you wished. The a la carte menu for such things a boiled eggs meant an extra charge. A little irritating since we had paid breakfast rate, but not unbearable. Bedroom (signature) faced into this courtyard which meant it was quiet, and comfortable. All the usual, minibar, hairdryer, safe, robes and slippers. Very tastefully done. Bathroom again very tastefully decorated but the bath tub edge was quite high and there was not a bath mat for the over-tub shower. Not a problem per se, but we were travelling with an older lady who if she had been in this room I would have felt this a little unsafe. And one complaint...at the price we paid, I really do not like having the hand wash and lotion, shower gel and shampoo, locked to the wall. At Euro 400 per night, this was not cool. All said and done. I would happily stay here again.

We had a really lovely stay . The hotel was great, the staff were very welcoming, the room very comfortable and clean. The hotel bar had a great vibe and breakfast was delicious. We loved the quiet location right in the middle of Paris with easy access to everywhere. The only problem is that we couldn't stay for longer.

We loved our stay at Hotel National Des Arts et Metiers. Aesthetically beautiful and unique with a artistic vibe. The service and staff were friendly and took great care of us. The hotel bar and restaurant are exceptional and highly recommend. Would stay at this hotel again next time we are in Paris. Perfect location.
Be the first to ReplyExtremely Rude Staff
Staff was extremely unpleasant and not accommodating. Sent through multiple charges that were not discussed in booking the trip without any explanation. Complimentary breakfast that was paid for was not good.
