iggy’s Nashville Reviews from The Last Year
One of the best dining experiences we've had in Nashville!
One of the best dining experiences we've had in Nashville! Every dish was fantastic, but the standouts were the tortellini with short rib, agnolotti with sweet corn and ricotta, whipped ricotta on sourdough, and garlic bread with cream cheese. Oh, and the desserts! Every single one was delicious. Our server CK was professional, helpful, and welcoming, and owners Ryan and Matthew made us feel as if we'd stepped into their own home for a meal (complete with kitchen tour). I can't wait to return again and again to this special spot!
If you're in Nashville and craving an unforgettable Italian
If you're in Nashville and craving an unforgettable Italian dining experience, make yourself a reservation at this hidden gem nestled in a funky neighborhood! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a comfortable, low-key ambiance that perfectly complements the creative and delicious dishes they serve. The decor is sleek but charming, adding to the overall dining experience. Let's talk about the food--it's simply outstanding. This isn't your average Italian restaurant; here, the seasoned culinary team takes traditional dishes and adds their own imaginative twist. Every plate is a work of art, bursting with flavors. Whether you're indulging in their perfectly-cooked pasta dishes, savoring their mouthwatering burrata, or enjoying their tender, flavorful meats, each bite is a culinary delight. The creativity extends to their cocktails and wine menu as well, which offers a superb selection that pairs beautifully with their dishes. The service here is impeccable too. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food they serve. They provide excellent recommendations and ensure that every aspect of your dining experience is top-notch. In summary, this place truly delivers a world-class dining experience in a laid-back atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through Nashville, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates creative Italian cuisine, impeccable service, and a great ambiance. I can't wait to return and explore more of their culinary offerings! Buon appetito!

Started with the garlic bread (delicious); then split salad (amazing and so fresh); onto Rigatoni Bolegnese (delicious and hearty) and Lobster Risotto (truly amazing). Unpretentious and such friendly service (Lilly). We will be back with fam and friends.
Over the past year Iggy's has gone from our favorite
Over the past year Iggy's has gone from our favorite "Italian" restaurant to our favorite Nashville restaurant, hands down. There is nobody else combining great service, a cool vibe and EXCEPTIONAL food and wine like Iggy's. At our visit last night we chose to sit at the bar so we could share and graze, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we were served. With careful yet not fussy service, a wonderfully curated wine list that's always affordable and a constantly changing menu that's always super creative, this is currently the best restaurant in Nashville. Get yourself down to Iggy's!! Highly recommended.
First dinner at Iggy's based on strong word-of-mouth
First dinner at Iggy's based on strong word-of-mouth recommendations. The space is minimalist industrial and a little sterile. After declining a table at the kitchen door initially offered to us (even though we were first-time local diners with a reservation), we ended up sitting at the show kitchen counter. The seating was nice, but there is not a lot of interest or artistry going on, with the chefs basically heating up pastas and pre-prepared sauces in pans from precisely measured (and very small) portions of ingredients, though each order is prepared to order separately and very carefully. Clearly the magic of the sauces happens behind the scenes and well ahead of time. Service overall was efficient but a bit cool and perfunctory, which was disappointing and should be better when the restaurant presumptuously adds a non-discretionary 20% gratuity to each bill. That being said, the garlic bread starter lived up to its reputation, is almost like a garlic butter-infused biscuit and delicious. The green salad had very nice ingredients and was good, though was a little too vinegary for both of our tastes. The Rigatoni Bolognese and Cacio de Pepe Garganelli mains were both excellent, with perfectly al dente pastas and very tasty sauces, albeit in very modest portions. Spumoni dessert was excellent. Although Italian cuisine of the quality offered by Iggy's is hard to find in Nashville, overall the experience was good but not great and Iggy's did not really live up to the hype for us.

Enjoyed Iggy's on a Friday night! We didn't have reservations but we walked in at 5p on the dot and we were seated right away. We ordered the garlic bread and Burrata to start. Garlic bread really was so good! 6 pieces come in it so it was easy to split amongst 3 of us. The Burrata was also very good! We ordered 3 pastas: fusilli alla vodka sauce, cacio e pepe & sweet corn agnolotti (I think- I don't see our night's menu online but I know it was sweet corn). I tried both the fusilli and cacio e pepe and they were amazing! The pasta is so fresh. The cacio e pepe has a bit of a wheat flavor to the pasta which made it almost earthy. I love the fusilli shape and the sauce was good. It could've been creamier but it was still really good! Honestly, a big takeaway for me is that the portions are not as small as people have been saying on Yelp. Between 3 people and 5 pastas, we had 2 takeaway containers. The stuffed pastas are definitely smaller, maybe 8-10 pieces. But one person could order the fusilli or cacio e pepe and be totally satisfied, if not stuffed after appetizers. Don't be afraid of the prices :) Overall, really enjoyed this place and the service!
BEWARE.
..Liked the food, the ambience and the service was fine however the automatic no option unless you want to complain about the added on 20% service charge and justification from the owner Matt was unappreciated. This was added for a 2 person party. He said you don't have to do that however. They basically put it back on you to call attention to requesting a lesser tip. To top it off, he acts like you can't figure out a tip so it's easier to just sign for the 20% service charge and there's an additional line for another tip on top of that if you are not careful. It was a nice experience but that policy needs to go. We had planned on tipping well but we don't like the decision being made for us. Left a bad taste.

Is this place worth the hype? Let's see! We made a reservation for dinner 2 weeks in advance. We got there a bit earlier and got seated within couple minutes. They had our table ready before our reservation time. That's impressive! They were really busy and it was really loud inside. We had to yell at each other or we kept saying "what did you just say?" If you wanted to eat and talk, this place might not be it. Garlic bread is a good portion for 2 people. It is not filling you up before the entree for sure. Wild mushroom tortellini was so amazing. It was so complex in taste, smell, and texture. Umm...so delicious! I highly recommend this dish. It is 100 out of 10. Fusilli alla Vodka Sauce was okay. Fusilli was perfectly al dente but the sauce was way too salty. I drank 3 glasses of water during the meal to wash away the saltiness on my tongue. Overall, it was a great experience. It seemed to be your luck to order the right dish or just an okay dish. Hey! Who does not like Russian roulette game? Order at your own risk!
Delicious food and fantastic, friendly service.
The gnocchi was to die for and I'm still thinking about the burrata appetizer. Would definitely go again.
Absolutely incredible! The staff were so helpful
Absolutely incredible! The staff were so helpful introducing the menu and giving recs. Food was so good. Get the garlic bread! I'm still thinking about how good it was. We also really liked the lobster risotto!
incredible pasta, wine and service.
The poli bros are back at it and better than ever. Not for those who are not ready to carbo load but if you have pasta on the mind then you cant but help leave happy, full and with a fully blown mind. Lobster risotto, king crab fusili, ragu bolognese were face meltingly delicious. 10/10 cant wait to go back.

Perfection! My friends celebrated my birthday here; the restaurant curated a menu for us. Each and every dish was superb! The cacio and pasta with shrimp were my favorites! Not to mention the absolutely divine panna cotta dessert! Service was impeccable from start to finish!
Went for a pre-Valentine's date night.
The atmosphere was great. The sound system rocked, and the food was wonderful. Will definitely be going back soon.
Best meal I have had in a very long time.
The ambiance was nice, it didn't feel snobby, it was clearly all about the food. I felt the art in the dishes and everything we ate was VERY delicious. Stand outs: AGNOLOTTI with black truffle was 10/10, olive oil lemon vanilla soft serve was to die for. Can't wait to go back and try so many other things.
there is nothing to improve upon.
Absolutely amazing food and the venue and music are perfect!! We'll be back!
A lovely addition to the growing fresh pasta scene in
A lovely addition to the growing fresh pasta scene in Nashville and a true ambience gem if you get the treat of sitting at the chef's counter! I love super fresh, super perfectly executed pasta recipes and was so excited by the addition of a new addition to that scene, let alone one located in my favorite neighborhood to go out and eat in: Wedgewood Houston! Some of my favorite things about this menu: just absolutely incredible service every time I've been here, from the hosts to the waitresses I've had, to the chefs bringing and explaining dishes. Eating at the chef's counter is always a true delight and honestly one of the reasons I come here sometimes. I love watching the kitchen cook while enjoying my meal and it gets me excited to try new things the next time I come because of what I see coming out of the kitchen. A+ ambience. Other highlights: The pasta is so fresh and ALWAYS cooked perfectly al dente. Moreover they are doing some very classic and authentic things with the non-red sauce options, which is very exciting to me. That said, sometimes the flavor execution can be a bit hit or miss for me. For example, the aglio e olio was a bit lemon-heavy than my personal taste for that dish. The pasta choice for the cacio e Pepe was also not my favorite despite the sauce being very good. That said, any ravioli or agnolottis I've had here have been just impeccable. I have also really loved all of my starters: the flavor on the arancini is unreal and the garlic bread (while very rich, would not be able to get this frequently) is viral for a reason. Dessert is always some kind of soft serve creation which makes for a nice palate cleanser on the stomach after eating a bunch of heavier food (a little pricier than I'd expect it to be). Really amazing wine selection at very reasonable price points for the quality and some very tasty mocktails, too! (The lime Rickey is not to be missed!) Another small gripe is the price point to size of dishes is a little more than what I expected. Any of the stuffed pasta types tend to be smaller dishes, but often use really elevated ingredients, driving up the price point. Not a deal breaker for me, but often means I'm spending a little more than I was hoping to, in order to feel full at the end of my meal. 20% gratuity automatically added to your check (I actually love when restaurants do this because it helps simplify paying at the end of a meal.) Would love to come back and try their Sunday "no decisions" dinner ($130 plus tax & service charge for literally so much food) in the hopes of getting some off menu chef's specialties, as I saw my dining neighbors do on a recent visit. Very limited street parking, so I've tended to pay for parking in one of the nearby lots.

Finally an Italian restaurant in Nashville that really knows how to serve pasta. Perfectly al dente, with flavor profiles that reminded us of Italy. Salads and apps were also well executed, and the wine list is thoughtful and presented at an appealing price point. Cool vibe inside, casually elegant. Service on point. Really enjoyed our first visit to Iggy's, very well done from start to finish. Highly recommended.

I loved the butternut squash, and I loved the garlic bread, 10 out of 10! I love their open kitchen concept, cool building, and nice intimate experience. The staff was all incredibly friendly and helpful including the chef! I would've ordered dessert, but my date declined, except had I known I was going to be splitting the bill with him, I would've definitely got some and not had him order for me! Lol, you live and you learn.
Good atmosphere, yes very loud! But I like it I'm young!
Good atmosphere, yes very loud! But I like it I'm young! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! MUST GET GARLIC BREAD! Loved the wine.... It was 70 dollars but damn it was good! I would leave the burrata out, definitely just get the garlic bread. -.5 star for waiters telling me how I SHOULD ORDER.... I don't want to be told how I should order I'm paying 200 dollars to eat let me chose how I want to order???? Also I don't mind the 20% added but our server didn't deserve 20% I would have given it either way but he was very pushy I think they need to lean back. -.5 portions need to be at least 4 noddles bigger! I understand the cost and price point but 26 dollars for 6 pieces cmon? I love the restaurant definitely will go back when my funds are up!
I love when restaurants have a short menu where every dish
I love when restaurants have a short menu where every dish is super well executed, and I love it even more when I want to order everything off that menu. Iggy's is one of those restaurants. We started with the garlic bread, arancini, and whipped ricotta. The whipped ricotta was the highlight, with the whipped ricotta paired with a sweet onion jam to make this a sweeter bite. The garlic bread was unfortunately too cream cheese heavy for me. Arancini were solid, with a nice crispy exterior. For the pastas, we tried: Cacio e Pepe gargenelli - To my surprise, this might have been my favorite pasta of the night. The pasta is made with the black pepper embedded in it, and usually I don't like black pepper, but somehow it didn't bother me at all in this dish. Agnolotti - I'm always a fan of agnolotti, this was creamy and felt lighter from the acidity of the lemon that was in the sauce. "Little Ribbons" Bolognese - This was the most comforting of the pastas, just solid red sauce and meat with a nice crunch from the breadcrumbs. Butternut squash tortellini - This was nice and creamy, with a super buttery flavor (which is not for me personally, but everyone else really liked it). Squid Ink Radiatore Fra Diavolo - The spice in this pasta was just enough to make it known but not overwhelming. Another great pasta if you like spice. But really all the pastas were solid so you can't go wrong.
Great homemade pastas.
Good for sharing and trying multiple plates! Staff was friendly and cocktails were good. Nice to get out of downtown.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
