WORST EVERY SERVICE AND FOOD
Decided to come here after reading reviews from TripAdvisor. They are rude when you get there, will not help you with the menu even when you explain that it's all in French and you need an English menu. They look at you with shrugged shoulders. When we eventually ordered they messed up my wife's vegetable noodle dish. I mean how simple is ot to just get it right no mushrooms. Will never go agin if we visit yhe city agin. If you good Chinese the go to Chez Ming near the Eiffel Tower.

Dry service but tasty dishes. Those waiters are so dry they’re actually quite funny. But the food is delicious. Great duck and stuffed squid. Nice corner location in the midst of Chinatown.
Be the first to ReplyRecalling Cantonese dishes in Hong Kong
Preparing for our lunch at Impérial Choisy we indulged in the dark Hong Kong humour of reading reviews that praised the dishes but excoriated the service. We were looking forward to a jolt of rudeness and a few slammed plates as ironic contrasts to some well-prepared dishes (although we worried that standards can vary a great deal.) So the irony was all on us when the staff were polite and attentive and we spoke to them in several languages (French, Cantonese and Mandarin) in which they were competent. The lean roasted duck and moist steamed chicken with ginger wouldn’t be out of place in Hong Kong and brought back distant memories of a well-loved city. Definitely a restaurant to return to.
