Came to Jang Su Jang to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was delicious! Despite coming just past 5:45, our party of 5 was still met with a 25 minute wait for a bbq table.Once seated, I looked over the menu and ordered a small smorgasbord of food for us. Jang Su Jang is not AYCE, and their portion sizes are not the biggest, but their quality is undeniable! Our meal began with some king mandu in a beef bone broth with some egg and seaweed. The dish was comforting and of a good size. There were 5 giant dumplings inside.Next, banchan was brought out. There were many kimchi-like dishes with classic kimchi, pickled daikon, and pickled onions. It would have definitely been nice to get a little more variety. The only different options were the marinated sweet potatoes, "American" potato salad, and my favorite amongst all of them - the chilled pickled bean sprouts. For meats, we went with the superstar marinated galbi and the pork belly. Both were phenomenal! The galbi was just buttery and so tender once grilled. The pork belly was fun and allowed you to experiment with all the sauces on the table. I was a little disappointed there weren't garnishes of lettuce leaves, perilla leaves, or samjang though. To complete our meal we also added a vegetarian bibimbop and the vegetarian pajeon. Both were done quite well!A bday party also isn't a party without drinks and our table was able to clear 4 large bottles of Cass and a house soju.As far as service goes, I thought this location of JSJ was definitely not as good as their sister in Milpitas. Our waitress seemed impatient, forgot the soju and almost charged us a second bottle, and also wasn't great with table management (only 1 pair of tongs, brought over like 12 plates then got frustrated by the lack of table space, etc).
