A disappointing end to a evening meal
We had booked for early dinner at 5:45pm and we were initially directed to the wrong table, which already had someone be setting at. This led to some confusion with the drinks going to and returning from the table back to the bar. On ordering one of the starters was sold out and the alternative was disappointing, with respect to ingredients and cost. The mains were good, again recognising a premium based on size of meals. At the time of ordering the dessert, this had also sold out despite being early evening. When providing constructive feedback to the manager on our experiences these observations were dismissed with no form of an apology. We decided to end our evening at one of the other venues for dessert and drinks. Sadly we won’t be going back.
Needs a lot of work
We went for dinner on a Saturday night and it was chaos. Nice place, lovely staff but if desperately needs organization eg there is no one on tables so it’s a free-for-all trying to nab one, I couldn’t find menus so I asked another table if we could use theirs, it’s an ordeal to order food and drinks (and God forbid you should want to order both, you have to queue twice). It wasn’t a pleasant dining experience.
Don’t bother
Very disappointed my husband ordered the steak sandwich, rated the best steak sandwich, I don’t think so. The chips were nice. I ordered the seafood Mariana for 42 dollars 2 prawn and tiny pieces of fish. The pasta was dry and not cooked. I think you need to look at your menus and prices. As I won’t be back. Plenty of other places to eat at Hillary’s that are less expensive and tasty.
Disjointed
I’ve never known a place to be so disjointed and disorganised as this place. You have to line up in one area (across a walkway) to order your dinner and then line up again in another area (across a walkway) to order your drinks where the staff hand write your drink order (incorrectly) and then you’re sent back to your table to wait excessive times for your drinks to be delivered. There is a long bar in place that you’re not allowed to approach which is all very confusing. Why not reduce confusion and increase customer service (and satisfaction) by implementing a seem less process. All very annoying and not sure if we’ll be back.
Overpriced and way too small portions
We were 2 couples and ordered our drinks and meals at the bar at the same time. We were told to get our own cutlery, napkins, water and salt and pepper. We waitied at least 10 minutes for our beers to arrive, my friends cocktail was at least another 10 minutes after that. Mine and my husbands meals arrived after a lengthy wait. My husband had the 'famous' steak sandwich which he said was nice but definitely not the best he's had. I ordered the garlic prawns and was shocked to see 4 tiny prawns for $22. I had finished my meal and my husband was halfway through his steak sandwich before 1 of our friends received her meal. The other friend had ordered a steak sandwich too but got his after another 10 minutes. Surely staff could see 2 people from the same table ordered steak sandwiches, why they would not make both at the same time is beyond me. Clearly lack of communication in the kitchen. I dont know if they were understaffed on this particular day but service was very slow. We waited way too long for our drinks and food and getting meals so far apart meant we didnt get to eat our meals together. This, along with the ridiculously high prices for the meagre amount of food means I will not be returning.
Underwhelming and expensive
We went for our anniversary dinner. They did not have the Vasse Felix so we opted for a slightly more expensive French that was nice. We had to get our own water for the table. Husband ordered garlic and chilli prawns - 4 small prawns for $22. Fairly bland. I had crumbed brie - 2 small pieces for $16. Husband seafood linguine $42 was bland with barely enough sauce to cover the pasta. The wild prawn and medditerranean vegetables $40 consisted of 5 prawns although there were a lot of vegetables and the meal was pleasant. Our mains were brought while we were eating our entrree, taken back tothe kitchen and theen reappeared. OUr entree plates were not removed for the whole meal and were still sitting there with ojur main plates when we left. It was not a particularly busy night. Staff were pleasant.
Good kai for my whanau.
Really enjoyed our meals, 6 adults and a 3 year old, service was quick and efficient. All our primo and secondo dishes were excellent, a fair bit of taste sharing was done. I like going to the bar to order drinks as you don't have to rely on the busy food staff to get your drinks.
OMG! Boycott!
Absolute rubbish! Garlic prawns $22, got 4! That’s $5.50 a prawn, drinks ridiculously over price and NO Service, go to the bar, help yourself to plates and cutlery! Don’t waste your time or money!
Fourth rate steak sandwich
Had the supposedly "best steak sandwich in WA" for dinner. It wasn't very good, probably about No 4 against the others I have had I would not recommend it to anyone.
Great lunch
Enjoyed a lovely lunch today, both the service and food were really good. The 100g steak was really lovely, the steak sandwich awesome and the mediteranean vegetables really good.
Long wait for meals to get served
look,the food is good and we have been there a few times. However, the service. We waited and hour and a half for our meals. And last time w ewent they missed out one of our meals. It's not a cheap restaurant and i am not happy to sit there for so long and not get served. Let's go somewhere else. I hear mia cucchina is good

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Well through rate holding money for 180 days
Just wanted to put this out there as I find it quite weird. AT will hold money if your sell through rate is to low. I find this strange as you would think that sell through rate should reflect more on AT not marketing their site well enough to generate sales. It seems weird to punish sellers for listings not selling.

I accepted a bid for a popular restaurant in Los Angeles only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter informing me that the reservation had been canceled due to it being listed on AT. I of course need to subsequently cancel the reservation on AT but get this warning that my status will be negatively affected for doing so. I've reached out to customer support about this several times with no response, not sure what to do in this station. Hoping someone can advise.

Anyone can help with payouts, support hasn’t been helpful at all. My funds cleared and I can only retrieve $50 usd a day with a $5 fee and a % per transaction. It would take so long and so much in fees. Thanks!

I am having a tough time contacting and elucidating a response from AT Support. I had a listing at 6pm, which was a mistake as the actual listing reservation was at 11pm. This got somehow approved by AT, and a customer bought this from me for 6pm. I want to cancel this listing and refund customer , but there is no way of doing this ! Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!

I have a big ongoing and it also shows someone is working on my bid. Today I see there is a " Buy Instantly " option at my portfolio showing same price I've bid for a reservation. I'm a bit confused, since my money has already been deducted from my credit card for the bid, do I need to pay one more time for the Buy Instantly? You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.

Anyone know how increase payout transfer to bank as I can only send $50 a day and they charge $5 for every transaction. There must be a way. I’ve contacted support two days ago and not a reply.
