Five stars for the food, minus one star for the ordering system and prices
I'll start by saying, if you don't mind paying a bit more and if you're not put off by ordering from a QR scan menu, consider this a five-star review. The ramen, I must say, was exquisite. I'd venture to say it's the best I've ever had. The broth was beyond flavorful, the noodles perfect, the shrimp-chicken dumplings terrific. A++ for texture, seasonings, aroma. Really fantastic. Can't help but subtract a point because they are still using the QR scan system for their menus. Come on, guys. The worst of the pandemic was over a long time ago, and it was never the case that people were catching COVID from handling menus. The system just doesn't work well; it takes forever to load, the picture sometimes never appears, and the captions appear far too tiny on a phone screen to be read. For these prices, a restaurant should be able to provide real physical menus to their customers. On the bright side, they do seem to be pouring their meager savings on menu production into making high quality dishes.

Awesome ramen. Great service by Gerson. We really had a great time as a family. We will definitely be back.

Excellent ramens. We ordered 3 kinds. Look at the pics. I tasted it all and I give it all 10!!! Tasty to the max. The pork gyoza was also perfect. The other dumpling was vegan I think. Itโs good but not for me. Service rushed different wait staff each time but hey they were busy!! Will be back!!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious ramen; nice outdoor seating
We ate lunch here on the weekend on a gorgeous day. We ate outside. It was lovely and shaded. The tables were well spaced. The waitress was friendly snd attentive but not overbearing. The ramen was delicious! Weโll be back!
Be the first to ReplyNice bar selection (draft beers and hand made cocktails). Great Ramen
Food is preparred as you order. Very fresh and tasty. Bar and waiter team work well and quickly. Watch ongoing sports on TV or chat with the bar tender. Very friendly staff. They have also a table facing the kitchen for those who want to see how to cook the ramen., etc
Be the first to ReplyIncredibly rude service- basically pushing us out before we were done eating
I went here with a friend for dinner and we were seated at one of the common tables that seats up to six or eight people (I can't remember the exact number). When we arrived, there was no one else at our table. We had finished our entrees and were chatting, contemplating getting desert. Then management sent over a group of people to take over the remaining seats at the table, with the slight problem that they sent one more person than the table could actually accommodate, basically trying to push me and my friend out. The people who arrived at the table felt very badly and they said they felt as though they were pushing us out. Well, it wasn't their fault. I called our wait staff and told them that we were unhappy that they had sent more people to the table than there were seats and that it looked as though they were trying to push us out. Their response was that that's the way common tables work. They didn't say anything about the fact that they had sent more people than there were seats. I am so pissed off that - even though this place is right in my neighborhood - I will never go there again and advise everyone I know against it. The food itself was fine - nothing epic but decent enough. However, definitely not good enough to make up for the terrible treatment we received. You can find other good ramen places on the Pike where they know how to treat their customers properly. Note that I visited more than a year ago but that date is not an option below.

My first time at this restaurant. I enjoyed the alcoholic drinks more than the food. The food was okay but the drinks were better. The ramen was kind of bland. I chose the chick broth base and added the things I wanted in it. It is also large, to much for one person to eat alone. Next time I would share a bowl. The crispy shrimp were okay too. The atmosphere was nice! The service was good too! I would go back. Oh, and the kids loved the vanilla ice cream. They wanted more.

If you are in the mood for something different, try Jinya. They take ramen and make it fancy. The food is delicious. Jinya has a lot of choices on their menu. The service was very good, even though it was quite busy when we went. The restaurant is pretty noisy, though. Thatโs the only thing some people might not like. But, I do recommend Jinya.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful food and atmosphere
We ate there 4 people and all the dishes were very good. The service was very good and effective. Prices are fair and provide good value for money. I love Asian food and indeed this restaurant will disappoint the Asian and Japanese food
Be the first to ReplyDecent ramen at Pike and Rose
Stopped in for a bowl of ramen at the Pike and Rose location. The decor is cool and the bar seating is comfy with hooks underneath to hold bags/jackets. The bartender who took my order was great and explained the in/outs of the menu. I tried the sprouting up ramen which was very tasty. The noodles had the right amount of chew to them and the broth was nice. The spicy sprouts were not very spicy and the egg was good but not as tasty as Daikaya ramen downtown. Overall a nice bowl but the price point is high for what you get.

Had a great lunch here- Crispy Chicken gets a 4.5, Jinya Bun a 3.5 and Tempura Brussels Sprouts a 5. Shared a vegetable broth ramen bowl which gets a 4. Will get chicken or pork broth next time but the skinny noodles were tender. All food served almost too hot to eat (a good thing). Service attentive but not overbearing.
