Amazing service, ambiance and food! My first time visiting
Amazing service, ambiance and food! My first time visiting Chinatown and this establishment, I was impressed. The next time I'm in NYC it's a must! I had the beef broccoli and was blown away at how tender the meat was. It was also seasoned to perfection

i thought it was just ok, fried rice wasn't to die for, sweet n sour ok, dumplings ok, considering how busy it was, service was pretty quick. If there's a line up, go somewhere else, not worth the wait

The dumplings (pork and crab) were amazing! We also had the crispy beef, spicy beef, and Shanghai noodles with chicken. scallion pancakes were also delicious! Long wait, but worth it! Cash only for payment.
Be the first to ReplySurprisingly busy on a rainy Thursday @7:30pm.
This is my second time here and the soup dumplings are probably the star. Crab or pork are good and sizable. We didn't order as much this time but the rest of the food didn't exactly hit the spot. . Pork Soup Dumplings - must get . Crispy fried beef - very sweet and crunchy; can't totally taste beef . Shanghai fried rice - kind of bland . Beef Crispy Pan Fried Noodle - also not notable, contains canned baby corn, canned water chestnuts, canned star mushrooms, carrot and broccoli. The noodle used is the type you'd have in a bird's nest type dish. Restaurant has nice modern "old Shanghai" decor. Note: Cash only

Star of the show was the soup dumplings. They are huge! We also had pan fried noodles, eggplant, green onion pancakes, Peking duck and some other things I couldn't remember.

These are the biggest dumplings I've ever seen! The crab dumplings are super flavorful and had a lot of soup inside. Dumplings come out fairly quickly and service was quick as we were seated right away. It's a cash only establishment.

This place has the best dumplings I've ever had! My family has gone here before, but we wanted to find it again because of one thing we loved the first time we went, the soup dumpling. We had gone to chinatown in Italy not long ago to get some soup dumplings, unfortunately they disappointed us. We got to this restaurant and were instantly seated at a table, we ordered some pork soup dumpling, scallion pancakes, spring rolls, and fried dumplings. The food came out in a couple minutes and we tried one of everything, and it did not disappoint. All of the food was delicious. The soup dumpling broth was rich in flavor and the scallion pancakes were very crispy. The only thing that was not entirely perfect was the spring rolls, instead of spring rolls they gave us egg rolls, it was not a big deal though because they were still delicious! The look of the restaurant is beautiful and very clean! I will definitely be telling my friends to come here!

No reservations, we came on a Friday evening for 2 people, were sat within 10 minutes. The pork soup dumplings were delicious, a bit large but tasty. Also ordered the scallion pancakes which I would not recommend, a bit overdone and too crispy. Would recc for good food and casual vibes

Loved it all! Fried rice, dumplings are a must! Sesame chicken. Very impressed! One of those meals you remember!
Be the first to ReplyThe soup dumplings were delicious! We loved every bite.
We also had the wonton soup which I found to be low in broth. I would have preferred more broth. At our table other people enjoyed the beef low mein which lacked flavor. As well as, the chicken fried rice. Definitely have the soup dumplings they are amazing!! The service was ok, not amazing but just ok. The ambiance was nothing to write home about. I would come back for the soup dumplings and try other items.

The restaurant itself is an easy laid back traditional Asian restaurant
Be the first to ReplyExcellence food, excellent service and a cool restaurant.
We went on a busy Saturday evening and had a great time - ordered dumpling appetizers and a main course.

Food was really good, higher priced than other places for sure but understandable due to the popularity. The service was really great, made it all worth it. Shanghai noodles were a bit dry, as was the Shanghai fried rice, but they can bring any sauce requested. Sesame shrimp was nice and crispy, without too much sauce. Scallion pancakes are thick. The wait wasn't bad, even with lots of people outside waiting. There were so many people working that everything moved along quickly.
Be the first to ReplyWe got pork and crab xlb.
They were really big and there was tons of soup inside but I feel like it is not as flavorful. It definitely needs soy sauce and vinegar to make it taste better. The onion pancakes was way too starchy n it didn't have enough onion. I would not order that again.

Come eat their soup dumplings!! This was the best soup dumplings I've ever had. We stayed in Chinatown right next door to this restaurant so we had to try it. The dumpling soup was oozing out of my mouth while I ate it but that was the best part. Soupy and chewy, just how I like my soup dumplings. If you are in Chinatown, this is a must try!
Be the first to ReplyThe food was authentic.
Large portion size. The dumplings are incredible. Accepts cash only

Went here for dinner on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was busy, but our party of 2 was still seated without any wait. Food was good and I would return again. The downside is they only accept cash and won't let you pay with a card, so come prepared for that.

I was so excited to come back here - my last trip was around 4 or 5 years ago. Since then it seems like they moved and must have changed the soup dumpling recipe. I used to rave about these dumplings- they used to be small, delicate, and the soup inside was perfect. Todays dumplings were huge, thick wrappers, and filled with so much fat it started to make my stomach turn. Disappointed.

Went here with some friends! Got here around 5:30 and got seated right away. However, when we left, the line to get seated was so long! We got there right on time.Food:Beef broccoli - 10/10 delicious ! Kung pao chicken - 7/10 the chicken was bit dry Fried rice - 6/10 the fried rice was missing soy sauce? It tasted bland. Soup dumplings - usually 10/10 but yesterday 7/10 Service: fast and got our food ready quick! I needed him to slow down when taking our order but it's okay.

Pork soup dumplings were good but quite big and slightly difficult to eat. Pork friend rice was dry and did not have much flavor. The crispy beef was well balanced flavor wise. Crisp pork chop was great ! General Tso's was just okay. Service was attentive. Tight quarters with seating. They definitely pack people in there .
