TLDR my entire family got food poisoning but I got the worst of it... but read on for more info.SO. I came here a couple months ago to celebrate my birthday in May! For one, this place was super hard for my family and I to find, we spent around 30 minutes walking around until we located it and they don't seem to pick up the phone since we tried calling multiple times for help. When we got in, the space is a lot bigger than I expected but that's not a bad thing of course. We all ordered the tasting menu which was around $225 per person and it was around 10 courses. The dishes when we went were all on the slightly saltier side so my family and I kept downing water. I think my favorite was probably the bread with the caviar dip thing with crab. The food itself is not bad but I don't think it's worth $225 a person? I'd give the food maybe a 6/10? The service was pretty decent and the people were honestly quite nice and even gave me a small birthday dessert at the end but even that couldn't make up for what happened at the end to me :') A quarter way into the meal, my moms stomach felt a bit off so she went and actually had diarrhea but we assumed that it was because she ate something off before coming since her stomach has always been weak. My sister had a stomachache around 1.5 hours into the meal so around halfway I believe so she too had to go to the restroom and also had diarrhea. At that point I was just praying they were unlucky and it wasn't the food we were eating. For your info, we arrived around 5 and left around 8-830pm. After we left and got to the parking lot, my stomach started hurting quite a bit. So I ended up jumping off the car and back the restaurant to use their bathroom but TMI but it just wasn't ready... during the hour drive home I felt like I was literally having contractions, the pain kept hitting me on and off and it was one of the worst pains in my life. After getting home, my stomachache was still super bad and it was so bad to the point I could not think or move at all. I was just sweating nonstop and praying for it to end. I probably spent around 4 hours in the bathroom that night and to this day, I don't think I've had a stomachache that bad in my life. I'm not sure if it was the squid or the raw fish at the beginning but either way... for like an $800+ birthday meal, I don't think the pain was worth it...
