Be the first to ReplyGreat Solo Sushi spot
I’ve been coming here for years. Great spot of sushi solo or with a friend. Not a great spot for groups all seating is at the bar. Fish is generally pretty fresh. Service is relatively consistent although not as attentive as it was before 2020.

Excellent, excellent food. Set menu of six handrolls with Toro my personal favourite. Unpretentious vibe. Charming staff. Joy.

Definitely worth a visit! The hand-rolls are amazing and each one comes with a different type of seafood inside. Surprisingly quite filling. There are almost always queues to get in but they move quickly. A bit pricey but worth the experience!
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding Japanese hand rolls!
This hand roll Japanese-style restaurant is fantastic! Highly recommended — very fresh seafood and very easy, quick, and pleasant experience. All seating is counter-style, so it’s easy to meet people. Nothing fancy, just good! Get the 6 rolls so you can taste a little of everything!
Be the first to ReplyIt's popular and a good place.
It's a fairly simple menu, but good. I've been there several times with almost a year's difference, but every time I've had to wait in line for at least 30 minutes. It's popular and a good place.

The place is very nice and the staff is welcoming. We ate some of the best sushi of my life
Be the first to ReplyTerrible service!
The food was really good, but the whole experience was ruined by the extremely bad service from the staff (i.e. we asked very nicely a simple question of “is this the shrimp sushi?” and the person preparing the hand rolled sushi’s started complaining that he ‘had just come back from his break’ and ‘how was he supposed to know..’ etc etc, worst thing is his complaining went on for around 10min… and kept on making faces at us. I am definitely not going back there again and would recommend against it to anyone reading this post.

There is sushi and then there is KazuNori sushi. I am by no means an expert on sushi; however, I know when something taste good! I have never had sushi this fresh and/or good. Made right in front of you with all fresh ingredients. Service was impeccable and the line out the door tells you all you need to know.

Best sushi I have ever had!!! Fantastic chef prepared fresh right in front of us. The toro was like butter. Wow!
Be the first to ReplyGreat handrolls - great model
Great find in the city. Walked to get to the restaurant and was well worth the walk. Excellent rolls, great model - walk in, fast and easy. Good choices, not a million to chose from (which I think is great) and superb quality. Will go again.
Be the first to ReplyI’m a fan!
Delicious, sublime, very reasonably priced for the quality especially considering no tipping. First time there, we stuck with the hand roll flights. Toro, yellowtail, salmon, and my favorite, CRAB. I wish wine was offered: for alcohol offerings there were two single serving sake options and Sapporo. We went Sunday around 6:30 pm and had very little wait. Definitely will keep coming back!

As a big fan of Sugarfish, KazuNori was the logical next step. We went on a Saturday night, so we ended up waiting in line for 30-40 minutes. As someone who hates waiting in line, this was definitely my least favorite part of the meal. But the food is worth it!! I loved the variety of hand rolls we could choose from. My favorite is probably the salmon (classic), but the scallop and lobster are up there too. Definitely can’t wait to come back and try all the varieties!
Be the first to ReplyHow Fast Can You Eat Really Excellent Sushi? Kazunori will test you.
Kazunori has very good quality seafood and we are fans of the related Sugarfish restaurants in Los Angeles, but despite having a similar formula (no reservations; limited menus of great sushi; limited bar) Kazunori makes you feel like a harbor seal having fish thrown at it (by a totally unfriendly, but very cool looking guy) at a breakneck pace. Waited in line about 20 minutes at about 10 on a recent Saturday night. The place is nicely lit, but very stark. From the moment you sit down you are pressed to decide. We decided in line- so we were fast and were told our chosen menu was sold out. So we picked a different menu. After that, no talking at all- just handrolls tossed in front of us pretty much continually for the next 20 minutes. Server never even looked at us. At some point, bad treatment outweighs exceptional sushi and Kazunori hit that about 15 minutes in. All done 25 minutes flat. Pass.
Be the first to ReplyVery Fresh & Good
The usual lunchtime line was not as long as usual, so it only took about 20 mins to get inside & get a seat at the counter, where everyone sits side-by-side & waits for their freshly made hand rolls, drinks, sashimi, etc. My son eats here often enough that the manager knows him by name & gave us a complimentary plate of salmon sashimi. SO fresh tasting. We ordered the 6 roll lunch and patiently waited, then happily enjoyed each freshly made hand roll. The "rule" is, if you wait too long to eat, the nori seaweed wrap will lose its briny crunch nor will you be able to savor the individual pieces of sweet rice surrounding the eel, tuna, salmon, lobster, crab, yellowfin, etc.. If it's dinnertime, expect to wait on a super-long line that even snakes through the restaurant. It will be worth your wait though.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, good vibes - highly recommended
Loved the experience. I went just past noon and the line was short. I was seated very quickly and the service was quick as well. the servers were all friendly. I opted for the 4 hand roll set and it was delicious. I liked that it was a “no tipping”establishment and hospitality was already included in the menu prices. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Best in flatiron
Unbelievable good rolls! This tiny restaurant close to Broadway re-invents fusion. It is literally melting on your palate.
Be the first to ReplyAddictive.
This is the best restaurant in town! This is actually addictive. The service is quick and fast casual.. but right now you can order through yelp and grub hub during covid 19 crisis!! I love coming here for dine in, quick service, alone sometimes, with a mate sometimes too, and wanted the world to know :) the absolute best roll is the shrimp!! It’s a little spicy. The baby scallops are next best. I’ve never had a roll I didn’t like. The warm rice melts in your mouth every time. If you’re a tourist, this is a must in nomad. This is where the regulars go. This is heaven. enjoy folks!! Order today! Support local.
Be the first to Reply100% ADORE Arrive on time
They open more seats at 6pm so arriving between at 5-5:30pm on a week day would give you a relatively short wait.
The set menu is simple, nothing but rolls and sashimi. You will be in and out within 30-45mins.
Love it a much as sugar fish- actually this one is cheaper and as excellent.
Bad boy. Queue moves fast
Bad boy. Queue moves fast and the Crab roll is different class... . The hot rice is the truth man!!!
Be the first to ReplyThis is a great find
This is a great find. The hand rolls are just exquisite! Turnover is quite rapid so don’t be put off by the queues that are often here.
Be the first to ReplyThe best hand roll experience you may ever have 💥
The menu is very focused with it being about 7 different hand rolls and some sashimi- that’s it! But what they do they do flawlessly. The sushi chef serves you one roll at a time. The maki is so fresh that every bite is crisp nori, warm perfect rice and cold clean perfect fish. This is without a doubt one of the best sushi experiences in the country. Reasonably priced for the quality, and tip is included. Great professional and attentive service. I give the highest recommendation possible.
Be the first to ReplyGood quick sushi
Basically high-quality for Japanese fast food. It’s a fixed menu where you choose a particular type of hand roll that you want, and then the sushi is very quickly given to you. It should be a fairly quick turnaround in that the meal only takes about 15 or 20 minutes. The design is that the service is on a long sushi bar style table and then the line to wait forms behind those people. It’s a weird set up. You are watching people eating as you stand in line and wait for the food and you are eating food while people are standing behind you waiting to sit down. It can feel a little awkward. Food is basically good, you don’t have to tip because it’s included in the price and the overall experience was decent food.
