Terrible food and service
We have dined at Suki Zuki occasionally over the years, with family who really like it. I find the food to be awful. Our last visit there this July will definitely be my last ever. The staff was nasty, and the salad and sushi were truly terrible.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible service and smelly fish
Had a horrible experience we did a take out order. Order was all wrong plus double charged for many things. Example we ordered two roll salmon rolls he put three we ordered one salad he put two , instead of hand rolls reg rolls. I told the Mamager he said that is to Bad if I don’t like it don’t come Again !!! Exact words. He added a special tip for himself $27 on top it too. He said it’s normal in Hamtons . Plus I saw how the sushi chef took out spicy rolls under the counter all pre made hours before. It was so hot out. Then fish really smelled we throw most out. Don’t come here ,
Be the first to Replysolid sushi, reasonable price, good service
Unexpected, but there's a reason why this place is always packed. Everyone loves the chicken teriyaki salad, though personally I think there are better options available. sushi, sashimi and soft shell crab are all usually good. Nice bar, with good service.

Terrible service, okay sushi, overly priced. Definitely caters to out of town people. Not local friendly. Poor bar service. To busy chatting.. would not recommend
Be the first to ReplyIf you love scallions this place is for you
So often in recent years we have come to Suki Zuki, only to be turned away by crowds. This past weekend, in spite of the restaurant being busy, we persisted and were able to dine there. The famous tuna sandwich which this restaurant originated was marred by an over abundance of raw scallions. The salmon-cream cheese "JB Roll" had scallions in it which we unravelled and picked out. We had pork gyozas which had a warm sauce that had an overly generous helping of scallions. I cannot eat crab stick, which is actually a faux crab made of pollock and msg which I am allergic to. We ordered rainbow roll and requested that the faux crab be replaced with yellow tail, but the waiter told us it could not be accommodated so my guest ate it alone. The chicken salad is still good however there was too much dressing. The dinner for two without drinks was over $100 and the scallions in nearly everything gave us indigestion. It is possible that the better crew who works during the summer is gone and the winter crew is on duty, but this is unfortunately the last time I come here.
Be the first to ReplyThe best sushi in the Hamptons!
I adore sushi -could eat it for breakfast- and have had it around the world. This is the very best in the Hamptons! Always a wait -no reservations -locals and weekenders alike. Tucked away in the hamlet of Water Mill. Worth the drive and the wait.

My once favorite restaurant in the Hamptons has as other reviews below have stated changed, not for the better.
Service is hardly existent and the food is very mediocre.
Their famous chicken salad has become tasteless, hand roll had hardly anything in it.
The waitress we had seems like she needs to have some training. Sadly I won’t be back.
LOVE Tuna Sandwich
The food is very delicious, from the chicken salad, to the sushi, I personally love the tuna sandwich, they offer a variety of sakes in different presentations and very attractive, good value for money to be in the hamptons, For dinner it gets a bit crowded, but it's worth waiting a few minutes.

A shame this place has slipped so much so fast. The once delicious codfish is mealy in texture, and tastes off... like they’re using coconut oil instead of soy sauce. The sushi just feels mushy, tired. The room is crowded and the service is rote, chilly, inattentive. But the prices are just as high, higher in fact, as ever. Time for them to wake up, focus, and fix before old-time clients just give up on them. Stop being greedy and start paying attention again to quality and service!
Be the first to ReplyDownhill over the last few years
Suki Zuki used to offer very good food but over the last few years the sushi has become paper-thin and the rice way overwhelms - not only that but even the rice has shrunk. Completely underwhelming experience, less than average.
