Any choice you pick will be guaranteed to be delicious.
Very elevated and luxurious ambiance with the standard service. The food and clean environment is what stands out for this place that is tucked away in the corner of the second floor of the Planet Hollywood casino.

My partner and I came to dine here for our anniversary and we had the best meal and service! Our server was so nice and attentive and did a great job at recommending items for us to enjoy. We loved the dishes we got for our entrees, the lamb chops and filet mignon. Our lychee drinks were amazing too. They were nice enough to make mine a virgin because I don't drink alcohol but love the lychee flavor. After dinner they gave us a desert for our anniversary celebration and the server offered to take a photo for us in "the best spot." Which was out on the balcony over looking the strip. He was right. He got come great pics of us to be able to hold on to the memory of the celebration and we will definitely be back! Especially for the savory and delicious lamb chops!

Restaurant is now closed, review does not matter. Hope the next concept is better!

Pretty solid food and a comfortably classy ambiance for a nicer evening out. The food could use a little more flavor, especially the beef dishes, but overall it doesn't detract from the feeling that you're spending a pleasant dinner out.

Went to eat dinner at Koi Restaurant in Planet Hollywood and everything about our dining experience was exceptional. Food and service were top tier.
Be the first to ReplyTOURIST TRAP kind of restaurant.
Came here Friday night. The place was empty "Red Flag". I should have walk away but decide to stay.. the sushi was subpar and overpriced, a coffee cup size miso soup 8$ and it tasted burn. If you wanna eat good sushi go to Makino, thank me later.
Be the first to ReplyAmbiance is very fancy and cozy .
. Service is good. Food is great but serving is very small and pricey .

I would Definitely give this high and sushi spot located inside the planet Hollywood at 5/5 stars. The restaurant is located upstairs, so be looking up when walking through the casino . It is a swanky sushi spot that turns into a nightclub. The staff were fantastic and gave great suggestions, as well as help with modifications for the pickier guests. The food itself was, of course, top notch and worth the menu prices which are bit steep. They are, however, on par with other sushi spots on the strip. It was definitely a unique experience with somewhat of a smaller menu. The must try item of the night is the salmon carpaccio!

I came here with a small group on a Wednesday night before a show. Not too crowded, and the ambiance inside was pleasant and not loud. The servers and hostesses were great but it took an extremely long time to get our drinks, and the sushi came out first. The presentation was great, but I didn't think the sushi was anything to write home about and the flavor felt a bit lackluster.
Be the first to ReplyA cut above! The food is incredible.
Staff is friendly and attentive which makes for seamless service. The manager is clearly attentive and ensured we were having a pleasant experience. As for the ambiance, we came for happy hour and felt like bosses above the casino floor while we had hot sake and some of the best sushi we've ever tasted.
Be the first to ReplyWas given half off admission and buy one get one drink
Was given half off admission and buy one get one drink tickets on the strip..... I feel bamboozled for sure. 99% old men and 1 old lady. Drinks were $26 for a small plastic rocks glass. It feels like they doubled their drink prices just to give you buy one get one. Bud light $9. Left immediately after entering. Stay far away from here hahah. There are 20 promoters outside trying to get anyone one and every one in...... I was just looking for dd's pong and pool. Ended up wasting time stopping here. Thank you Chris for the buy one get one tickets!

Our server Robert was AWESOME! Super friendly, personable, knowledgeable about the menu and made some fantastic recommendations. I have multiple food allergies, and this restaurant does a nice job with providing separate menus for dietary needs. Robert was attentive, and he made me and my partner feel very comfortable. We ended up ordering Sake, a lychee martini (delish), another raspberry flavored cocktail (I cannot remember the name), two specialty rolls, salmon roll, yellowtail roll and the crispy rice with spicy tuna. All were fantastic. We really enjoyed our experience; the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant were 5/5 - we will be back
Be the first to ReplyI ate so much here.
It was all very delicious. Very reasonable price point. Reminds me of nobu. If the restaurant was in a different hotel, it would probably be really busy.

Short version: Drinks: great, Dรฉcor: lovely, Sushi/Sashimi: poor, Service: poor. Maybe just visit the barWe had dinner at this restaurant on Valentine's Day. We arrived early and were directed to the bar as our table was not ready. Drinks were good. The cocktail menu contained the usual suspects: Mule, Mojito, Martinis, etc. Myself and one other person in the group had dirty Martinis and they were perfect. The very attentive waiter waited for us to taste and approve. Nice touch. A special Valentine's Day menu apps for the bar was available. The dรฉcor was lovely. The food was okay. Sashimi was fine for the most part. The uni had some definite refrigeration undertones but even mediocre uni is delicious when you LOVE uni. The rolls were poorly conceived and executed. Admittedly my group ordered a few of the spicy rolls which tend to be mushy by design but even signature rolls, e.g., Baked Clam, lacked texture. In apps: The Roasted Shishito Peppers had a surprising lovely smokey flavor and the Hamachi Fusion was lovely as well. Service was perfuse and poor. I had to request ponzu sauce instead of soy sauce four times from three different people. Plates had to actually be lifted and handed to staff to get them removed no matter how crowded the surface became. Upon entering the dinning room it was half filled. Multiple staff coming by the table repeatedly asking and then not fulfilling requests. They were obviously overwhelmed. But as the dinning room emptied. Visit became less frequent with the same substandard service. I will not return.
Be the first to ReplyLoved it here! Need to come back for dinner.
We were simply looking for a place to get a snack along with a couple cocktails. Excellent on all ends. The bartender was attentive, and skilled. We tasted the shishito peppers and shahimi. Definitely would like a return trip.

Koi has an interesting vibe, sending you past a sort of nightclub lounge before you enter the restaurant. I was there with my parents and kids so that wasn't the scene I was going for. Fortunately the club doesn't bleed into the restaurant too much. We ate at 5 to catch a 7pm show and there was no wait. The food was incredible and the spicy tuna on sticky rice was insanely good. Then I ordered it with a slice of Waygu beef and I was shocked it was even tastier!!! The walnut shrimp sauce is a bit spicy (my mom couldn't handle it) so we got it on the side. Everything we had was delicious and I'm looking forward to eating here again when we come back to Vegas.

This five star review is for Charlie; extremely personable, knowledgeable about his booze, great service and a true craftsman of beverages (on menu or off).As all of you know, I have no love for Planet Hollywood, but this bar experience definitely more than justified a return visit. Thank you Charlie, they're lucky to have you!
Be the first to ReplyWe had THE BEST experience here.
Our server, Tweetie, and her assistant, Edwin, we're AMAZING! The peppercorn filet tabonyaki melted in your mouth. I highly recommend! We also got the sunfire roll and the crunchy red spider roll and they were very flavorful. My favorite was the sunfire roll - the mango was a great compliment. We didn't have room for dessert, but we rallied. We got the crรจme brรปlรฉe and the raspberry lava cake and we ATE IT ALL. We sat in the little circle pods along the inside row of the room and it was very spacious and comfortable for two people. The ambiance of the room was very intimate, yet lively in a good way. Can't wait to come back!
Be the first to ReplyI have to post this only because we were so disappointed
I have to post this only because we were so disappointed with the flavor of this food. Let me start with the good. Very friendly and profesional staff. The environment was very well decorated for the theme. There were only 11 rolls offered none at which really stood out compared to other sushi restaurants. We ordered the most expensive fish on the menu, which is Toro. Five slices for $40 when we received the Toro it was solid pink in color with no marbling. The flavor wasn't there either with a metal taste to it. No buttery smooth taste as it should have been. The dragon roll only comes with six slices. It was heavily covered with tempura flakes with very minimal meat inside. Next we ordered the sun fire roll. The Flavor just wasn't there. Seemed like they left ingredients out. There was no taste of cilantro and the meat was not flavorful. At this point with three disappointing plates, we decided to ask for the bill. We went to this place due to the reviews but I guess when you come to Vegas sushi shouldn't be high on your list. Your paying for fresh fish to be flown in daily. You get small portions with a high cost fyi.
Be the first to ReplyYummy food and a great staff.
They asked if we were there for a show and suggested plates that would come out fast so we could make are show on time.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, great service.
My husband got the Wagyu steak and he absolutely loved it. It was cooked perfectly as he requested also. We tried for the vegetable tempura for an appetizer and it was amazing. My husband didn't even realize he was eating veggies at first. I got a cut vegetable role as well and it was so good! We were very pleased with our food and service.Sidenote - on the side of the building there's a patio you can walk out to. Just walk out through a regular glass door. It gives you amazing views of the strip and there's couches out there you can sit on as well. It's a little hidden so make sure you look in the back corner for it. Definitely worth a stop after dinner for pictures and views.
Be the first to ReplySuper good food and intimate setting.
Customer service was above and beyond, our server Tweety was the best!
Be the first to ReplyI will say that this place had great food.
We pretty much ordered most of the rolls, hamachi Kama, seaweed salads, toro...just whatever we could get them to bring out. The hamachi Kama came out quick which surprised us because normally it takes a while to make that dish. It was tasty and flaky. The seaweed salads came out and the shrimp. All very delicious. About an hour passed and the sushi didn't come out. This was a Sunday and not many people were here. So she came back and I'm guessing forgot to put the sushi in. I feel like the service fell off half way through the meal. She was sending someone else to check on us every once in a while. Other than that the food was good but one star down for service. I've had much better service at a normal walk in place.
Be the first to ReplyPhenomenal experience, food, service, atmosphere.
We came two days in a row, very accommodating and kind staff, the food was full of flavor and just overall perfect. Thanks again guys Koi will be a regular stop when we visit vegas.
Be the first to ReplyWas looking for a tasty dinner after a pool day and stopped
Was looking for a tasty dinner after a pool day and stopped by Planet Hollywood. I was immediately drawn to the Koi sign because I had been to a restaurant of the same name in Maui. I asked a guy at the front stand if this was the same chain and he confirmed. I knew immediately that I wanted to try this location and see if it was just as good. The guy gave me a coupon for but 1 get 1 appetizers which I thought was great customer service on his part. I went upstairs to the restaurant and sat at the bar. I found out it was happy hour so instead of using my coupon I opted for the happy hour menu and gave my coupon to some ladies sitting next to me. I ordered the dumplings and the creamy shrimp. Both were really good.As I was finishing my meal, I overheard someone asking about a patio. So I asked the bartender about it. He offered to escort me there. He took me out to a really nice balcony. It was empty but a great spot to see the strip and the sunset.I really liked this location and will be back.
