Maybe I am overreacting with the two star only score
Maybe I am overreacting with the two star only score because this place has a beautiful terrace, incredible dessert buffet and a nice chalet style restaurant but it is really just way too overpriced. At Michelin-star-restaurants the food is not this expensive. In any restaurant in France I know you can always buy a bottle of nice French wine at a price that suits your budget but not here, almost all wines are above €100,-There is a budget option outside where you can eat 'snacks'. Here the food (like pizza) is below €30 per item and the wine can be ordered by glass only (why not sell these wines per bottle?)The quality of the food we had was OK but we will not return to this place because we know of better value places around. There is a jewellery store at the premise and one or two guards (?) overlooking the place (is that for the jewels or for the guests?).

Went to this place based on rave recommendations from Courchevel locals and our hotel. This place is located in the middle of Verdons run, right in the middle of the slope. It is a pretty decorated chalet with Graff jewels on the first floor. It was kind of cheesy in my opinion.Food was ok and you can find much better options on the mountain itself. It is super overpriced for the quality of food you get. Everything on the menu is 30 Euros and up. Only 3 stars in my book.

Came here for brunch one day at the recommendation of the front desk person at the hotel I was staying at. You need to cross a ski slope to get to this restaurant but if you're skiing down the mountain then you can ski right up to this restaurant. Be careful if you're coming here by foot and walking across the ski slope as there is plenty of skiers coming down the slopes.Tartiflette - potato, cream, Reblochon cheese and bacon. Reblochon cheese is native to the Savoie region. This dish is baked in an oven and comes out similar to a gratin. Lamb Chops - roasted medium rare with a thyme infused au jus. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with the right amount of salt pepper and au jus. Dessert bar - a buffet of a huge amount of desserts. They have a waffle making station where a chef will make a waffle for you and add all of the topping that you would want whether fresh fruit chunks to chocolate sauce drizzled on it with cream. The only disturbing thing about this set up is that all of the desserts are sitting outside under the sun. There was a girl in her mid 20's accompanied by a guy with a guitar singing and providing live entertainment as we ate our food.. She sang mostly current American songs and made us feel like we were still in the states except that we had a spectacular view right up the slopes of the French Alps.
