Le Maquis Paris Reviews from The Last Year
Fabulous meal in a lovely friendly place
Wonderful visit. Great food - very inventive and very delicious. The menu is a 65 euro fixed menu of 5 courses with an optional cheese course (6 euros extra charge). On the night we visited the starter was a kimbap, tartare of mullet and a palourdes dish (clams). Next up was a soupe de poisson followed by a pasta piselli (both great). Meat course was a pigeon dish with a jus of sesame and accompanied by asparagus. We had the optional goat cheese course and finished with the desserts of a very light chocolate mousse and a Chou bombé. Wine list is very good and plenty of choice at all price ranges. We loved our visit and would highly recommend. Impeccable service also.
Do not miss
Quality and originality exceptional dishes 👍👍👍 in a basic but comfortable decor. Absolutely worth visiting. All dishes are perfect. To share in Tapas mode
Very average
The service is really not great Dinner is timed with two waiters who grimace if everything doesn't go exactly as they had planned. Result: a friendly moment transformed into stress Damage. When it comes to the menu, it’s still a bit of a story…
Well worth a visit
We found this restaurant via the Michelin Guide - not a star but a recommended place to visit. The website is poor compared with many restaurants and is really only a method for booking a table. Don't be put off ... it is a real gem. It is a small (I think we counted 26 covers) and has a wonderful "local bistro" atmosphere. The menu is what is on the blackboard and there is a really good "natural" wine list. The food (and wine!) was fabulous and created with flair and interest ... a super smooth watercress soup with pieces of sea urchin, lime infused oyster and crispy paprika artichokes kicked-off the set menu, followed by the most delicious potato ravioli and a rich venison stew (as it was described to one American couple ... "la mère de Bambi"). Two deserts completed the meal (with a cheese option). Great staff made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I would highly recommend a visit.
Don’t eat here!
This is truly rediculous. The portions are TINY. Dinner is a set menu and the night we went the theme was seafood- not my favorite. Squid ink spaghetti - yuk. A few other tiny mediocre courses. And a main course of about 2ounces of Hake fish. This was $65 per person. I’m finished with Michelin restaurants! Don’t bother going here, such a disappointment!!

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
