Lemongrass Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
A Winner
It was our last night at the Aria and we had a very pleasant dinner…decent value and variety….service was very good……Mae had a,pork belly and greens dish and I had the eggplant clay pot…good but not exceptional….however, the Thai shrimp, cerviche was excellent….the ambience was quite nice …I would not hesitate to go back to try some different dishes
Came here for dinner.
Ordered. Noodle soup with chicken. It was good but needed more broth and the waitress said $6 for more broth which unfortunately cost the restaurant one star. Fried rice with duck was good as was Pad Suey with shrimp. Egg plant was very good as was cucumber salad. Nice ambiance. Prices typical of a strip hotel.
never a disappointment
We go to Lemongrass now for 10 years (since 2014) and there is a reason why this place is still there. no disappointment in 10 years. The dishes were always perfect and the service always exceptional... Will see you on our next Vegas Trip!
Tasty
Service was slow, think our waiter forgot about us however food was really good. Recommend sharing a main between two people as they’re massive!!

Loved the interior! (+) made a reservation for 9:45pm, but we showed up at 9:15pm and they seated us right away. If you booked last minute, call them to see if they have seats. (+) interior was super nice, they dressed the workers in Thai prints, and the plates and utensils had a very traditional feel. (+) food was ok. Panang curry is a must, there was a lot of complexity to the flavor. I thought the basil chicken was too salty. Pad Thai was also good. The satay pork was sweeter than I expected. (-) everything was reasonably priced except for the coconut rice being $7. (+) great service, the waiter checked in periodically to see if we needed anything. The payment was also fast, they give you the whole machine, which is better than giving you the check, then swiping it, and then signing it. They had a much faster checkout process.
The food matched the service.
Our waitress was amazing and great at suggesting drinks and food. Do yourself a favor and get the chicken satay and dumplings as an appetizer . The tamarind steak was phenomenal, melt in your mouth and the dipping sauce, amazing. The sesame chicken was also very good. Good thing our waitress told us the yellow curry sauce level 4 was medium level, it was the perfect spice for us. We will be sure to go here anytime we get to Vegas.
I definitely give 5 starts just for the bartender!! I wish
I definitely give 5 starts just for the bartender!! I wish I remembered his name, but he's there every time I've gone (I've gone at least 3 or 4 times)! This place is a go to for me because it's very accommodating for vegan and vegetarian options! It's a crowd pleaser for family style dinners with a large group! Most of my party is always satisfied because they have food for omnivores and herbivores! I definitely recommend! And the bartender is sooo nice!! I've sat at the bar before and he always has great recommendations!!
Had a dinner here the last night of my recent visit.
It's in the back corner, kind of hidden off the casino floor on the first level of the resort. My meal was the Pot Stickers, and the main of Drunken Noodles. Both dishes were done well, and had the flavor profiles that are very true to traditional Thai fare The ambience is very nice and I found the service to be extremely attentive - seldom have I seem the waitstaff checking in mid appetizer to see how everything was tasting The only thing that kept this from a 5 star review was the pricing (Aria and vegas)
The food was really great, and the speed to get the food
The food was really great, and the speed to get the food was just fine. The issue: we had a slightly larger party and two of us ordered the same item but different spice levels. We realized only after each of us had taken several bites that they switched them! I thought "man, my soup is not at all spicy" and she had been thinking "I can't believe this is mild/Level 1 spice" When we commented/complained (my friend wasn't really able to eat any of hers), no action was taken. Barely an apology. We didn't see a manager, her food wasn't taken off the bill. If you have no issues, it's great. But their customer service is severely lacking.
Came here again a few months later.
Yellow Curry even better this time. The Som Tam Papaya salad was fantastic. Sour, spicy, sweet all together. Really good service. Will likely hit this place every time we come back to Vegas.
In the Aria hotel.
A nice setting.. not a place to have a discussion as its very loud inside. Cocktails - japanese old fashion tasty but a thimbleful of drink in a glass full of ice.. You would need 4-5 drinks to get a slight buzz going.. at $20 per drink, buyer beware.. food delivered to your table by a guy in coat who looks like he's pissed to be delivering food.. Yellow curry was tasty. Lemon lime sea-bass was mild with a few pcs of fish for $50.. felt a bit overpriced.. The Pad Thai noodles were nothing like the Pad thai you would have in Thailand.. their version was a mushroom gravy based noodle dish, quite mediocre.. it was convenient given we were staying at the Aria but a bit overpriced and average.. felt like dining at the forgotten stepchild of the family of Aria restaurants..
Do not bother
Was our anniversary. No acknowledgement. Lots empty tables but kept us waiting anyway. Food was expensive for what it was, and only OK. Had curry Dungeness crab, needed more sauce and hitter. Server never poured for us. Our beer or water. At this level? Really? Expensive for Thai food. Many other places in Vegas for Thai food. Only here because had whole Dungeness crab. If you are not ordering this or staying here, don't bother. 18 dollar parking charge too! Weekends more!
Delicious Thai food, worth the price
Amazing delicious Thai food in large portions. Thai red curry the best I have ever tested and the sweet and sour chicken is also amazing. Really large portions too.
Absolutely delicious and the service is great! My boyfriend
Absolutely delicious and the service is great! My boyfriend and I have come here twice and it never disappoints. The Thai iced tea is the best I've ever had! They give you the option of making it spicy on a scale from 0-10. My boyfriend loves spicy food and he chose a 7. I don't like spicy food and I chose a 2. The Panang Curry was absolutely delicious but still too spicy for me. The second time we came I orders the Singapore Noodle and sweet and sour chicken and both were delicious! I recommend this place. It's on the second floor of the Aria. Both times we had made reservations and were seated immediately.
Snagged the last 2 seats at the bar with no reservations
Snagged the last 2 seats at the bar with no reservations before the dinner rush started. One of the bartenders was friendly but the others seemed bothered that we were even there. Shrug? We started with the shrimp ceviche which was very tasty. I ordered the ginger chicken with spice level 1 and a side of coconut rice. Delicious! I like spicy food and the level 1 was just enough for me... I hate when it's too spicy that the food loses its flavor. My husband got the soft shell crab fried rice and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of crab. Overall we thought my dish tasted better. Also the food came out FAST... which for us was a good thing because we were tired and jet lagged. But if you want to enjoy a longer dinner I suggest spreading out your appetizers and entrees a bit. All in all, good experience. Only gave it 4 because of the general unfriendliness of some of the staff.
The food here is so delicious.
All their noodle dishes, as well as the papaya salad or must order items. Also, if you order a coconut juice , they give you the whole entire coconut. Their service is quick as the food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Though the flavor combinations here are not as authentic as other places this restaurant will not disappoint you with all their unique Asian inspired flavors.
Let me start off by saying that I love Lemongrass.
The food is good and flavors authentic as my wife and I often travel to Thailand. Also as an old Vegas native with RFB status when Mirage was the top property before the Bellagio and Aria was built, it was great to see authentic thai food on the strip. Unfortunately, our experience this time was a super let down. Our server Si was a super let down and not to par to the 100% awesome service before the pandemic and post pandemic. Being in Vegas for so long, I consider her the "2 face" server, acting one way toward non-Asians and another toward Asians. Compare to other servers we've had at Lemongrass, her robotic service was almost comical and non-sense. My wife and I ordered 4 dishes, 2 drinks; mostly seafood based as we were wagyu out from dinner the night before and steak & egg out from brunch at Sadelle's that morning. 4 dishes and a bowl of rice; a decent amount of food for 2 people. As we were enjoying our meal, she interrupted us with a flat face (without asking how we like the food) asked if we would like to order more food or order dessert. I looked at her in the eye and told her we will order some dessert once we are done with our meal. I've observed Si as she served the tables around us and saw her discrepancies in her service to Asians and to non-Asians; mind she is ethnically Cantonese. Very sad to see as this is a strip property and they don't even do this in Chinatown in Las Vegas. As we finished, our plates were pretty much clean except for all the decorative items in each dish and Si returned and within 1 fail quick robotic comment asked again if we wanted more food, like to pack anything to go and if we like the bill. There was nothing really to pack, we've order 3 mains, 1 appetizer, 1 bowl of rice which is quite a lot for 2 people so she should know as I've told her we would order 2 desserts. That sealed her non-caring style of service which should be expelled to a low-level noodle house in Hong Kong. Still left her a 22% tip for the rest of the crew and not really for her but was very, very disappointed in her robotic and discriminatory style of service to her own people. So sad to see this on a MGM strip restaurant with a great staff, modern style and authentic flavor. (I actually prefer Lemongrass to Lotus of Siam). I hope MGM can fix this issue for future patrons.
Thai restaurant with a classy feel located in the Aria
Thai restaurant with a classy feel located in the Aria Resort and Casino. I've been here a few times, but must say was a little let down by my last experience. We came in a group of 4 on a Friday night and loved the contemporary vibe of the place to catch up with friends as it was very aesthetically pleasing. But out of the 4 of us, we all felt our food was decent, but nothing necessarily that stood out. My friend did absolutely love the fresh coconut though so would recommend that! It just seemed the portion sizes for the meat were smaller than expected. It can feel tricky because it originally comes out in decent size plates/bowls but the amount of meat to veggies is actually very small for most of what we ordered (outside of the cashew chicken). The food itself did come out very fast and hot! However, while our server was very nice and even gave our friend a complimentary birthday dessert, the service was pretty slow. We were waiting several times for drinks, additional needs, and our check. Overall, was a decent place to meet up-just maybe be mindful of those things going in!
Excellent food excellent service excellent ambiance it's
Excellent food excellent service excellent ambiance it's been 3 times my husband and I been there it's our favorite Thai restaurant I definitely recommend it
Delicious Thai food
We’ve been to Lemongrass multiple times and it never disappoints. The Thai food is delicious and you get large portion sizes without it being overly expensive. We had the dumplings, sweet and sour chicken and basil chicken. I would recommend all of them. One word of advice- the food is spicy, when choosing your spicy scale be aware and don’t overdo the spiciness.
Show me the soup!
Delicious food and excellent service. I had the tom kha soup and it was worth it - despite the fact that it's for two people and I was alone. I would go back just for that soup! The lychee martini was great too.
Amazing!!!
Went with my husband and 12 year old daughter. We loved the food and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and food came out at a good pace, not too fast and not too slow. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from the ambiance to the quality of the food, we were very pleased with our meal and the restaurant.
Excellent experience
Excellent service and amazing atmosphere. My go to and favorite Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. They never disappoint.
Five stars for ambiance, food and service
This was my favorite dining experience from our time in Las Vegas. We were staying at Vdara, and went to dinner before our tickets to O at Bellagio. So it was a perfect location for us. I loved the ambience and the food as well as the service.
Dining at the Aria
Not great. We ordered the Tom kha soup that was ok. The black pepper rib eye lacked flavor. The pad see you noodles were good but la led the sweet flavor usually tasted in this dish. The best dish was the sesame chicken which was very tasty and full of flavor. I’ve been here before. The prices have gone up quite a bit. If it was great it would be a different review. Great service and ambiance.
Great
This place is great. Expensive, but nice We were held outside whilst we waited for our table, not the best start. We had cocktails, starters and mains. All great, just the intro. I dont want to stand around in a hotel
Awesome Thai Food & Service
While still having a severe jetlag on the 2nd day in Vegas, I chanced upon Lemongrass located inside Aria Hotel, on the Strip and came here for dinner. THE ENVIRONMENT: Modern contemporary casual (saw a guy in his shorts) yet semi formal as Aria is one of the nicest looking hotel on the Strip. Dim lights and rather romantic set up. Absolutely love it. THE FOOD Clear Seafood Tom Yam - you get to choose the level of spiciness from 3 (being normal) all the way to 10. I mentioned to my awesome waiter Iven (Mr), I want level 7 for spiciness - boy was my soup spicy and totally met my expectation. The soup has 3 or maybe 4 huge scallops, Prawns and Squid - it was simply perfect. One of the best clear Soup tomyam that I had outside of Thailand. and Fried Basil Rice with

How do you set a timeline for getting your bid accepted? I can’t wait till the actual time I want to go. I want to know at least eight hours ahead of time. How do you do that?
