Lilette New Orleans Reviews from The Last Year
A little disappointed with the whole visit.
It did not live up to it's reviews. The food was underwhelming. The service was lackluster, and the wait staff was inaudible. I have had better service a Culvers.
been a couple times.
Vegetable soup is incredible, duck is consistently good. Classic food that never fails.
Just got a call from Amex.
The waitress who served added $40 tip to our bill. Service was AWFUL. Luckily we saved the receipt just in case they pulled something like this. BEWARE!
When David is behind the bar, it's awesome.
The best servers are Kevi and Dwayne. Some servers are condescending. The food can be very salty. And the owner is unfriendly. VERY expensive

Overall the food and wine list were fairly good for a restaurant of the caliber. However, the service and vibe of entire restaurant staff was off putting. They appeared not to appreciate the patronage from a diverse family from San Francisco.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Especially if you are young.
my friends and I (all 22 years old) attempted to order drinks, and the manager personally came to the table and told us he "didn't feel comfortable serving us alcohol"..... None of us were intoxicated, and again we are all of age, and often get mistaken for being young. the way the manager treated us was Absurd and he should he fired. i will attach a picture of him. Avoid at all costs if you want to have a nice dinner in New Orleans. just go somewhere else, PLEASE!
Charming French bistro in the garden district.
No trouble parking nearby. The escargot portion is delish and generous. The hanger steak was very tender. No place to wait, so reserve and come on time.
We visited the restaurant during a business trip.
The ambiance was fine but unfortunately the food was not very good. The "Sautéed Branzino" was simply fried fish on the top of some broccoli and beans. The amount of salt, butter and hot pepper was absolutely incredible. To our surprise, when we asked for two different checks, as we work for two different companies the waiter refused. He claimed "they can do just one check for table". Finally he excepted to spit it in half. It wasn't right and is completely unacceptable that my company should pay for something that l didn't consume. You can get much better food and service in New Orleans. I don't recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful date night spot! Best duck I've ever had.
Will be returning next time we are in New Orleans.
My daughter- in law and I walked from our Prytania Street
My daughter- in law and I walked from our Prytania Street house doing some shopping along the way at Aux Belle Choses . No reservation but got there at 11:30 on Thursday . It was almost empty but we were seated at the smallest possible table with sunlight beaming in from above. We asked to move and scooted over to the next tiny table. Great food - delicious drinks - we had the Italian wedding soup , entrees of Hanger steak and the lamb shoulder with gnocchi. All very tasty and well presented . Service , not the greatest or most attentive- but our time was spent enjoying new taste sensations , conversation and no little kids !
Enjoyed a great meal last night - everything tasted great
Enjoyed a great meal last night - everything tasted great and pacing was perfect through our dining experience. Sorry I didn't take any pics!
Traveling with family to New Orleans, Louisiana they
Traveling with family to New Orleans, Louisiana they decided to do an early Happy Birthday dinner, for me. So after reading the post on Liette, which is located in the French Quaters. Looking at the food photography and checking out those handsome, prominent chefs. I thankful selected this fabulous 5/five star restaurant. The food, atmosphere, service, drinks were all excellent. I in no way expected my experience to be of this caliber. We reserved seats prior to the arrival, an naturally went in. but were seated outside. It was a perfect evening. The waiting staff were very attentive and extremely well informed on the drinks and the food. I highly recommend Liette you will not be disappointed no matter the occasion. I will return and list it as one of my favorite restaurants.
The atmosphere is nice.
The Shiraz was serve chilled. Lack of food presentation for $$$ restaurant.
Lilette is Great for Dinner with Friends
Delicious dinner and drinks with friends at Lilette. The choices are varied and fresh and always delicious. The cocktails are terrific. We had great service and a great meal.
Excellent
We celebrated my birthday at this lovely bistro and everything was perfect. The menu has a vegan option that was a well-seasoned arancini with trumpet mushrooms-a little spicy and quite satisfying. My husband ordered the hangar steak frites that was served at temperature and was quite tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. The wine list has a few half bottles. They serve a great French roast coffee-the perfect ending to our meal (although the desserts, including a butterscotch budino, all sounded very good). Very good value for this quality of meal and experience. Reservations are recommended.
Lilette is a Winner!
What a great find on Magazine Street. Wonderful menu that is well executed, wine list and service to match, and sidewalk or inside dining. My adult daughter stopped in for dinner and then lunch the next day while we were staying in the area. Loved every bite and encourage you to stop by while shopping on Magazine Street in New Orleans.

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
