Amazing food and service.
We had a big group and everyone had a great time. Can't wait to go back!

I hadn't been in ages but had a desire for a good steak dinner, and I was not disappointed. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the prices were great too!
Be the first to ReplyJust the best.
Been here forever and it's always good. Steaks you can cut with fork. Yum yum
Be the first to ReplyAnother super busy Wednesday night, amazing.
Reservation was handled with only a brief wait, and as normal the food and service was great. I told the story on how my first visit was confusing since a friend got my expectations out of whack but every time since I knew what to expect, and either got that or better. Our meal would be at least twice if not three times as expensive at a more snooty place but no better and likely not as good. Our steaks were just simply wonderful. Accompaniments were all super good too. Might go again this week when we have family down. No wonder this place lasted so many years...they get it RIGHT.

This place is FANTASTIC! It reminds us of an old school German steakhouse the likes of Peter Luger in NY. When we are in Orlando and can't get to PL we gladly come here. Food is great and service is wonderful, what else is there?!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing steak.
Wasn't crazy about the lack of variety when it came to the side dishes but I would definitely go back for the steak. Pricey but worth every bite! The service was also great.

Awesome meal and great service brought in at a reasonable price tag. It has to have been at least a decade since I was last here and after my enjoyable experience, I am wondering why. We dined with another couple with all of us ordering different cuts of steaks. All four were well marbled and done perfectly as ordered. The sides were acceptable and noise level surprisingly low considering the packed house. This place will certainly be a strong consideration next time we are seeking a yummy beef indulgence.

Steak was awesome! Recommend to anyone looking for an old school feel steakhouse.
Be the first to ReplyFINALLY made it to the famous Linda's.
Boy have I been missing out. We arrived just before 6pm and there was already a 30-45 minute wait. Our wait ended up being exactly 45 minutes. We did find it a little odd that when our table was ready, the hostess gave us verbal directions to our table instead of escorting us to it but whatever, it wasn't too far from the hostess stand so it was easy to find. I love the local feel of this spot. The lounge/bar area is very home-y feeling. We sat around the (non-existent) fire fountain thingy while we waited for our table. Thankfully it wasn't lit since it was about 90° outside. We ordered a couple drinks while we waited. They were stiff, thankfully for the price we got our money's worth. Our waitress was great after she warmed up to us. Once she realized it was our first visit she seemed to get excited on our behalf which was fun. We ordered the French onion soup which my friend loved. The salads were amazing, we had the house bleu cheese dressing on one and the house vinaigrette on the other. I loooooved the vinaigrette on mine. The bread service was a delicious soft white bread. We also ordered a bottle of the classic red wine which is served chilled (and cheap!) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend wanted the fattiest steak (blechhh) and she was informed about the "RA Steak" that we had heard about previously so she ordered that. I ordered the 12oz Top Sirloin. We both loved our steaks. I loved the crisp crust on mine. So full of flavor. I just wish I got the 8oz because I was so stuffed by the time the steak arrived. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered. I also had the loaded baked potato which had real crumbled bacon and not the fake bacon bits.We finished the dining experience with the chocolate cake. It was meh. Nothing outstanding and I wouldn't order it again. The pricing of our meals was amazing for what we got. My 12oz sirloin with the house salad and side was $22. My friends steak dinner was $18. Every entree includes a salad and side. Hard to beat these prices for the quality of food they serve! I wish I had taken more pics. One thing I was curious about that I didn't really see addressed anywhere was the dress code. I didn't see anything about an "official" dress code. I saw folks in t-shirts and jeans but it did seem most people were one step above casual wear but you wouldn't necessarily be "out of place" in casual attire. Overall, we loved our evening out and will absolutely be back. I see on their very basic website that they take reservations via phone. I highly recommend making a res. I assumed early on a Wednesday evening wouldn't be too busy. I was wrong and now understand why. It's a happenin', popular spot. So popular the entire parking lot was full and I had to park next door in the Best Buy parking lot.

I've had better steaks at longhorns. Decor inside is dated. Food is over priced. House blue cheese is nothing special.

Be the first to ReplyThere's a reason La Cantina is an Orlando favorite.
The steaks are excellent, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just as you want them. Excellent fresh sides as well. Another important point is that service is always top notch as well. Great deserts as well...if you have room!. For sure, my " go to" place in Orlando for steak.

The food was good! The snapper entree is super filling and probably enough for two people. The blooming onion with the dipping sauce is really good. All 5 of us filled up on the onion and didn't leave much room for dinner.
Be the first to ReplyFive stars for service, food, and being the best family
Five stars for service, food, and being the best family owned steakhouse! We love coming to Linda's. We always make a reservation by leaving a voicemail and receiving a call back. The steaks are always delicious and perfectly cooked. The French onion is so tasty. Fourth year in a row for my husbands birthday and we will be back next year!

What a fun experience! The old school straight forward vibes Linda's has is awesome. The steaks are incredible quality and cooked to perfection. There are no frills here and that's what give this place its charm. The bar area reminds me of classic old Vegas lounges and I just appreciate them sticking to their personality and providing a unique and yummy experience to its diners! Ribeye and filet were so delicious and the French onion soup was crave worthy!

Amazing steak! Totally different experience coming here than going to a chain. Worth it and delicious! Very traditional and for those who love the vintage feel.
Be the first to ReplyIt had been several years since I had been here.
It was as wonderful as I remembered. My steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everyone at the table said the same. Service was a tad slow, understandable the restaurant was full. You definitely need a reservation. Everything was delicious this was a fantastic meal. Highly recommend

I went on their website and there is no way to make a reservation and I tried calling their number it doesn't work so that was frustrating so decided to see if I can get in with walk up they said a hour wait and gave me a pager so I just walked to the bar and got a pager to let me know when table will be ready and exactly one hour it finally buzzed me! My server Chad was excellent he always filled up my drinks without asking me and asked if I needed anything! For appetizer I got the fried mushrooms and the French onion soup both was delish! For main entree I got the filet minon cooked medium it was more medium rare but it's ok I still ate it and it tasted good! The steak comes with house salad and a side so I got the baked potato! The prices here are not bad so very affordable for a steak restaurant!
Be the first to ReplyI swear I reviewed this before.
Hmmmm... suspicious. Anyway, I don't know what it is with this place as I just don't get it. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent steakhouse, but not the best steak ever as may proclaim it to be (that's in my kitchen, but that's another story). It IS a busy place, so keep that in mind. I recommend calling at least a week or two in advance (maybe longer if you need a prime time) for a reservation. And you will get an answering machine. They're pretty good about listing their availability on the machine so listen. Then leave a message. They'll call you back and hopefully confirm. They're closed Sunday and Monday so if you're looking to go on a Tuesday, plan ahead and call the week before. They always accept walk ins too, but there will probably be a long wait unless you show up right when they open.I was looking at pictures of the people that post and decided the next time we came, I was going to try the ribeye. I was disappointed. I think I got the worst ribeye cut I've ever had. It was like 2 steaks that were twined together with cow membrane. I was hoping for a nice cohesive 16 Oz. cut of ribeye steak and didn't get it. It was charred nicely and a little past the medium rare at which I ordered it. If it was a better cut, it may be a star or two higher. I've had the filet, shrimp, fish, etc. in the past and all were ok, but not spectacular (with the exception of the blackened snapper). Others at the table ordered the Filet (4 oz and 8 oz) and they looked decent this time. One ordered the veal parmigiana and it was covered in cheese. The veal seemed like it was more of a ground veal patty than a nice cut of veal. I just had a small bite though. The salads were fresh and the bread and butter is always good, usually because you're hungry but good bread and butter are always a nice treat. There's a diverse set of sides from pasta to baked potato to fries and a veggie or two. You can also get French onion soup.Service is hit or miss depending on the server you get. We've had outstanding service and mediocre service, so your experience may vary. Parking can also be a challenge especially with a bunch of terrible drivers which park crooked or take up 2 spots. Annoying but part of our last experience.I think on the next trip, I'm getting manicotti and calling it a day. We'll save the money and cook a steak at home.

Just returned from dinner with my wife and 16 & 18 year old grandsons. Steaks were awesome As was the service. couldn't have been a better experience. There's an absolute reason they have been in business 75 years. Don't miss the experience!!!!!!And btw, while not rushing you at all, you certainly are not going to spend an inordinate time waiting for the courses. So that makes it a most friendly setting for the younger set!!
