Such a beautiful and romantic setting with food like my Lebanese grandmother! Perfect kibbee naya, authentic bread, crunchy fatoush salad, perfectly spiced and juicy grilled chicken.Warm, caring, genuine service. We did not have cash for our taxi and the driver did not take credit cards, so the manager rushed outside and to the scene - he covered our fare! Who does that? This hidden gem is worth every cent. If you want a true taste of Lebanon from their table and hearts to yours, visit Liza!
Be the first to ReplyThis was a wonderful dining experience.
My kids enjoyed the entire experience and we were pleased with our meal and wine. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. We had falafel and a vegetarian dish with traditional accompaniments (hummus, babaganoush, etc). We devoured every bit.

I've been going to Liza on annual visits to Paris since about 2011 and have found the quality of the food to have grown better over the years. Yelp has been sleeping on Liza since I noticed there weren't many recent reviews. Last week I had my typical order which is various mezze and a couple meat entrees. The presentation of the food looks great and the taste is even better to give me a satisfying Lebanese meal that I've only had equal in Beirut or Dubai.Service can be a bit spotty but that goes for about anywhere in Paris. The environment can be a little casual so also good for well behaved little kids, my toddler has been a few times and we ask to sit on a seat with a padded bench for her rather than a chair.

Their sandwiches are not even sandwiches as they're impossible to eat. The meat was okay, but the veggies were so so and the pita not tasty at all. I also got some hummus and babaggannouj, they're simply bad, not comparable to so many other Lebanese restaurants in Paris. A real disappointment.

Very good Libanese restaurant! The have an extensive tasting menu but also a lot of choice in separate dishes. The taste of every dish is very flavoured and according to Libanese standards very authentic. Good experience, Nice people, good Food!
Be the first to ReplyThere are tastier lebanese joints to be found.
The place is nice but too expensive for what they put on the plate. Apparently their sunday brunch is a better value.
Be the first to ReplyWorse value for money.
Expensive food and tasteless. Though the staff was pleasant and friendly!
Be the first to ReplyParis has such a wide selection of restaurants offering
Paris has such a wide selection of restaurants offering libanese food and I hav tried a few, but this place is still my favorite - when I lived in Paris and when I return I always go here for dinner. Make sure to make a reservation. Personally I think I have tried everything on the menu, I also go with a few people and we order a lot, all the portions are served as small sharing dishes. All of them amazing, can´t chose which ones I like the best. What I in addition enjoys about this place, is the non existing tourist - it´s kind of a hidden gem away from the big streets. It is also the best service I have ever gotten in Paris, and yes that is a rare thing and the waiters speak perfectly english, so I don´t have to speak my very bad french. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cosy and white, not typical Lebanese. The prices are a bit high but I think the food is worth every penny.
Be the first to ReplyI read a lot about this place and how good it was.
It NOT. I had the worst falafel I have ever had. It cute enough with nice lights and decor. But it's a restaurant so the food should be good not horrible. My mom and I got the veg plate, two falafel a salad and a mint tea. The veg plate was 16 € with an lentil and rice salad witch was cold and looked like a blob of mush. The hummus had so much tahini it was hard to eat. The salad was dull. The spinach was slimy and I don't even know what the veg of the day was. The falafel was 9 each for four of them and had too many sesame seeds. What are sesame seeds doing in a falafel anyway? They were also dry and unseasoned. The pita that was served in a plastic bag (no joke) resembled and tasted more like cardboard than bread. The total bill came to 75€ for just two people. I will never return and hope you save your life saving and don't ether.
