3.5 stars this time because Saturday dim sum at around 1:30pm was disappointing today. Service: 4/5Better than the previous visit, as we were seated within 5-10 minutes. While there is still no dedicated host at the front door (owners if you are reading please hire one!!), someone came out from inside and acknowledged us while we were tapping away at their ordering console in front. They showed us to our table and gave us a QR code to scan to order food to our table. We had to start over our ordering list, but we found it super convenient to order on our mobile as the menu also has pictures and you can choose between English or Chinese as the language choice. Tea is actually served in typical Chinese porcelain tea cups rather than paper cups like last time, which makes the experience more legit. 3/5 foodHar gow and shrimp rice roll wrapping was thick and slightly mushy today, a shocking contrast to our Monday night Valentines dinner where the quality of these two items were mind-blowing. Chinese Broccoli was boiled to a mushy softness that is perfect for grandparents without teeth. However, I prefer my veggies less overcooked and more crunchy so this was a big minus for me. Also the oyster sauce it came with seemed to be watered down just a little bit (or just has been sitting in room temperature for too long). Not a big thing, but today's experience seemed like a completely different chef was in the back than our first experience here. Maybe they have different chefs on weekends vs weekdays? Or lunch vs dinner? Anyways, I won't be coming back for weekend lunch. The quality is so drastically different it doesn't justify the price for dim sum for me. My top pick is now Seafood Cove for weekend lunch, as they deliver almost same quality but without the wait or high price tag.
