The worst in Las Vegas.
No wonder it closed. Not one of us thought anything of it. Bad service too

We stayed at the Paris and Ballys hotel many times, and finally decided to try this restaurant. We were very happy we did. The eggplant appetizer was very good. The chicken parmesan was also very good. The cocktails were also very nice. Excellent service. We will definitely go there again.
Be the first to ReplyWe came for dinner, our server was Ray.
I mean he wasn't the friendliest but he was prompt. He suggested a fried mozzarella appetizer and it was so good. We decided to share the chicken parm. I will suggest asking about all the ingredients because I am allergic to mushrooms, nothing on the menu for the chicken parm said that it has mushrooms so We ordered it thinking it was safe. There ended up being mushrooms in our food and I began to have an issue. It surprised me that it had mushrooms and it wasn't listed as an ingredient. Besides that everything we ate had great flavor and seemed authentic. If we do return we will make sure to double check with waiter about the ingredients because the menu is not 100% reliable. Also the menu reads that this is the way I cook don't change it. So don't go there expecting to make substitutions to accommodate your taste.
Be the first to ReplyWent here with my mother and my sisters.
We all thought it was very good. The service was great and the food was great. But like...when it comes to Italian food...I'm basic AF. So if you like Italian food that is super Americanized, you'll love this place.
Be the first to ReplyI'm quite surprised this place has good reviews.
.my husband and I had rsvps to dine here this past Saturday. From the time we sat to being served our first course, it took an HOUR! An HOUR to get a meatball salad. How?? While it was good, it wasn't great. After we finished our salad, we waited another 25 mins for our entree. I choose the macaroni of the day which was a veal/beef tagliatelle. Just ok, nothing special. A little on the dry side. My husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara which was delicious! Very creamy, a little too decadent to finish in one sitting but he managed to do so. We also shared the gnocchi, just ok. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. This was not a 12 course tasting menu, but it took over 2 hours for 4 items.

My first and only bad experience with Martorano's was at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood Florida. Thank God the Cuz packed up shop and left because the restaurant plain sucked and was losing too much business to afford the rent there. Basically, South Floridians weren't digging the imported Philly hustle money grab! Food was nasty! The sauce is horribly salty, lasagna was mushy, drinks watered down/too sweet, and when with a group, nothing came out together. The ambience was loud and obnoxious! I mean who in the world would ever want to sit down for a meal and see Steve's tatted steroided out self billboarded over every inch of the restaurant. Can you say narcissist? It has been many years since I have been ripped off by this restaurant and why am I giving a review now? Because a tabby kitten never changes its stripes!! I just want to warn sin city to stay away from this disappointment of a restaurant. There are so many other low rent faux Italian restaurants to choose from in Vegas, and this one isn't. Martorano's is basically, to put it in so many words, a glorified olive garden with super jacked up prices!! I do not want anyone to experience this fake of a commercialized chef or cook. I will give it to him, he sure can sell himself with the best snake oil salesmen in the world! Avoid this place at all costs!

Went to this restaurant after all the great reviews but unfortunately left unsatisfied. The food was the biggest factor. I have had better Italian food at Italian chain restaurants. We had the spaghetti doc and chicken parmesan. Neither items had much taste to them. We felt like we overpaid for food that wasn't good. The Martarano salad was ok, but nothing worth returning to the restaurant for.
Be the first to ReplyA ten year old could cook better.
I had calamari (fair) , chicken parmigiana (awful) and the spinach side (best of the three but nothing to write home about). You would need a steak knife or an ax to cut the chicken. The pasta was out of a box, probably way beyond its expiration date (they must buy it that way in bulk to pass it off for al dente) Just a completely disappointing experience and total waste of money. An overpriced complete disappointment.
Be the first to ReplyThis is one of the BEST restaurants to visit when in Vegas.
Appetizers rated 1 out of 101. Made to order (not on the menu) fried mozzarella in a delicious tomato sauce etc... rated an 8 out of 10.2. Eggplant stacked $25 rated 10 out of 10! Chefs kiss! One of the best antipasti I've ever had.My husband says it's the best food he's ever had in his life. Believe us, it's that good!Entree: rated 1-10Mine: 1. Spaghetti D.O.P $27.....Bravo!! A 10 out of 10. Al dente HIS: 2. Chicken parmigiana with a side of thin spaghetti. $46 husband gives this 10 out of 10. You are given fresh delicious buttery bread with a side of extra virgin olive oil with an olive inside the oil. LOVED IT!!!! Husband ordered a Jack and Coke I ordered an 8oz. Glass of Kris, pinot Noir, Sicily, Italy 2016 $27 it's worth it. Also, our server was amazing. Attentive. He simply made our first time experience a memorable one everything was delicious and perfect!!! We will definitely be coming back here. Make sure to look at the pictures!!
Be the first to ReplyHoly! This place was the bomb! I wasn't expecting that.
When I first saw the prices, I was thinking "this place better be good." The bread was baked fresh (at least it tasted that way), the olive oil was warm and exquisite. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, it came with a yolk on the top and they melted it into the hot pasta (it cooked with the pasta and turned into a cream), it was the best carbonara I've ever had. I also tried the truffled fried, and the meatball. Oh, and did I mention the Caesar salad? You can taste the goodness and I can tell the dressing is made in-house, fresh ingredients!! To bad is closed on Monday, I would be back today!!!! It's worth the money guys!!! And it wasn't too bad, appetizers, food and drinks $160, our waiter was excellent so we left a $40 tip. Will def be back!
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and superb food.
I ate there this past Saturday with family from out of town. Ben our server was very friendly and welcoming and patient when it came to explaining what the dishes were. We ended up with the lobster franceasie and chillian sea bass and a pasta dish. And calamari for appetizer and a. Meatball salad. It was amazing I've never had any cooked fish that had the soft puffy smooth texture as the sea bass it is unique and the lobster was a good portion and amazing aswell . I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes fresh italian food . I think this place is a must eat at if your staying at the Paris or just visiting .
Be the first to ReplySo disappointed with this restaurant.
We celebrated my birthday dinner here with friends. Food was mediocre and the drinks were mediocre. I should have walked out when I saw that this restaurant did not have a lot of people. Vegas has amazing restaurants. Go somewhere else. This was the only restaurant that did not do anything for my birthday. Food here is expensive too. We ordered 6 things. We ate 1/4 of our food. The waiter never asked why we were not eating our meal. The wine we ordered was not good as well. I never had a bad wine at a fancy restaurant in Vegas even when we order the cheapest bottle. Lesson learned. Don't come back here.
