Great Mexican food!
This was a great place! The food was amazing- I had a delicious chili relleno and a fantastic margarita. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and we enjoyed sitting in the spacious and comfortable outdoor area. A wonderful find in Sacramento.

We went yesterday to see if there was a place available because we did not make a reservation, immediately the lady at the entrance told us no because we had children. Curiously they have a children's menu and there were other children inside, when we asked him why there were children inside, he said because they are outside and we can't have children in here. Not surprisingly, it is worth mentioning that they have a patio only during a pandemic, where did the children sit before? Very rude, for an overrated meal.

Letโs start with the positives: great food as always ( this is the 4 th time that we tried them). It is difficult to find good vegan food and we were happy to come across this place. The pistacio dish is amazing and the vegan lentil soup is to die for!
The negatives: we ordered salsa and guacamole with chips and mentioned that we need enough for 5 people. We didnโt get any salsa or chips and although we asked no cheese on top of the guac, ( we wanted it vegan), the guacamole had plenty of cheese.
Very disappointed!!!
Wow! What a great culinary
Wow! What a great culinary experience! We were a Party of 7, had made already a reservation and were seated immediately at a table that was far away from others so we were able to follow the social distancing protocol.
Alvaro, our waiter and his helper were amazing: always very prompt and super nice.
Alvaro made some recommendations regarding the menu and he hit the spot: for entre he recommended the pistachio mole dish and it was super yummy with very interesting flavors.
Their salsa is one of the best we had!
The vegan mole poblano was intriguing but nonetheless very tasty.
My mother in law ( who is extremely picky with any food) loved the salsa and the Rib eye.
We are looking forward to return soon!
Great food
We came in working a reservation on a Saturday night at about 5:30. After a lot of waiting for the one hostess to get a chaotic to-go order, I was nervous about our choice. It seemed very disorganized. Once the to-go order was finally taken care of, we were seated right away. My husband, two teenagers and I all loved our meals. The guacamole before the meals was AMAZING. The food is very unique (not cookie cutter Mexican restaurant at all- very authentic) and fresh. We will absolutely be back.

We love great sipping tequila. We stopped in for a nightcap. Jorge and Ernesto helped us with our choices. We told them what we like (reposado vs. anejo, etc) and their recommendations were wonderful. It's really nice to do business with people that obviously truly like their jobs and are good at it. Great experience and we will return for sure. Will probably dine as well.

We had a great dinner and good service. We ordered salads which were huge and could have been shared. Our entrees came before were were half through with the salad which I hate. Atmosphere was noisy. Not a relaxing dinner experience.

This is a large, noisy Mexican restaurant, but with exceptional food and service. The portions are, as in many Mexican joints, gigantic, so be warned. I had the chicken mole, and it was excellent. The mole poblano sauce was as good as any I've had in Oaxaca, and that says a lot. The chicken was succulent and tender. There was a lot left, and the remainder made a good lunch the next day. My wife had the pork specialty of the day, billed as a dish from the owner's home state in Mexico. It lived up to expectations and was absolutely delicious, finely flavored and well cooked. It was a little on the fatty side, she reported. We took quite a pile of it home, and after some of the fat was removed it made a whole dinner again. We'll definitely be back, but next time we'll try the small plates, rather than a full dinner. We had a bag of fragrant leftovers under my seat during a concert at the nearby cathedral, and I'm sure our neighbors wondered about that smell-- it wasn't incense for sure. Service was impeccable. We'll definitely be back. This place is a block from the Community Center and just down the way from the cathedral, so it's location is excellent. Make a reservation on weekends. It's a very busy place.

We visited on a Wednesday night for a pre-concert dinner, so it wasn't too crowded or noisy. Our waiter, Carlos, had excellent suggestions for food and drinks. Our party of 4 all ordered different drinks/dishes and no one was disappointed. Table favorite was the carnitas which were cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.

Lovely eclectic decor. Lots and lots and lots of tequila as well as a creative mixed drink menu. Decent vegetarian and vegan selections for small plates and menu items. Good portions too. Had the vegetarian enchiladas with requeson, guacamole, chips, watermelon margarita and cheese taquitos and margarita-lime pudding dessert and all were excellent! Great service too. Highly recommend.
