Minneapolis Northwest Tourism Brooklyn Park Reviews from The Last Year
Poor Management and service.
I didn’t know the floors 1 and 2 would be occupied by Latino/Hispanic families. Regular guest stayed on the third floor. Realized we were a minority. Woke up at midnight with marijuana smoke coming into our room! The at 8;45 the breakfast room was out of milk, bread to toast and crowded with women and children. Why this hotel took reservations when it was a site for sanctuary city fly-ins from the border.
Stay away
My stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The constant blaring music and perpetual parties on the first floor made it impossible to relax. To make matters worse, the first two floors seemed to serve as a shelter for the homeless, with kids running amok and disturbing the peace. It appears they also accommodate long-term guests, which only adds to the chaotic atmosphere. I strongly advise against staying here; it's simply not worth even a 3.5-star rating
Hotel isn’t for the travelers
This hotel is basically a migration home. Breakfast was packed couldn’t get in line n once we did very limited left
Wonderful Stay!
This was an affordable, lovely hotel to stay for my vacation to Minneapolis! The stay are friendly and attentive, the breakfast is always fresh, and the pool was nice and warm.
Honestly, if I could give this place ten 's I would.
The room was clean and spacious. They have a great restaurant. Best part is all the staff make you feel like a VIP. I am definitely staying here next time I come here. BRAVO!!!!
Horrible smelly homeless shelter
This place smells disgusting. You are essentially living in a homeless shelter. I found out that the state pays for 50 rooms there to house the homeless and this is clearly shown. I stayed at la Quinta for my rewards and wasn’t familiar with Minneapolis but thought the suburbs would be safe. There were scary people all around and I did wonder what the smell was. I’ve stayed in worse hotels that didn’t smell like that. I understand there’s a homeless problem but I did not want to pay to stay in a hostel or homeless shelter, they really need to let this be known. I ended up leaving earlier and staying with a friend even before I knew what was really going on because it was so horrible.
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham
Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. Overall cleanliness of the inside of the building was a 10. Outside the building however there was trash in the parking lot blowing around with the wind. The room was freshly cleaned and looking good. The only issue is there are noticeable stains around the room in different places. Breakfast was really good, only they didn't have everything available that was labeled and supposed to be out. Overall experience was 7/10.
Pleasant Surprise
Our room was spotless and well decorated. The shower was the nicest one we have ever had in a motel. The bed was a king-sided and very comfortable with attractive linens. We enjoyed our short stay and would choose to return someday. Thank you!!
Is it a hotel or an appartment building?
It seems like they are renting the rooms out to families for long term stays. It even appeared that there is a school bus stop there. It is noisy. The hotel reeks from the food that is being cooked in the rooms. The internet connection is weak, slow and intermittent.
Can't wait to come back!
Loved the front desk staff. Super nice. Parking lot super clean. Room clean and sparkly. The pool was nice temp. The breakfast was warm and wonderful. Would come back here again outside of business trips
Amazing
This was a great stay. The front desk worker was full of personality and answered all my questions I had. The hotel was clean and neat and the pool was definitely a plus. The location is right near the high way so easy to get to my business meetings.
Family trips
They make us very comfortable and the staff is very attentive. They accept our dog and understand the need for close to a door. They usually try to get us the room we like the best. The desk staff is always so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and convenient
BEST EXPERIENCE IN TWIN CITIES
I am currently still at the hotel but my stay as of today is Excellent... I don't have any complaints .. the room is very spacious... The hotel staff all are very polite and they go out of there way to make sure my stay here is great and no problems. The property is well kept up. Never trashy looking or looking like it's a run down hotel. The breakfast in the morning is great.. The rooms are sound proof I swear.. because surprisingly I really haven't heard anyone in the other rooms surrounding me.. Out of all the hotels in the twin cities that I have been to The LaQuinta INN and Suites in Brooklyn Park is the best one ..thank you
*This is a review for an event held at the Minneapolis
*This is a review for an event held at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest, I did not stay here* I came here for a wedding reception not really expecting too much, but the event space was huge and beautiful. However, I really want to highlight the catering staff, which were amazing. They were kind, attentive, personable, and frankly, hilarious. It's not often that it's the staff that stand out at a wedding from a guests perspective.
We booked an event here for our daughters first birthday
We booked an event here for our daughters first birthday and everything was amazing! The planning with the staff was so easy. The staff onsite were very friendly and attentive to our needs. They allow outside catering now which made our event even more special to serve our guests with our favorite foods! The room we were in was the Minnesota room which can hold 300 people. Their ballroom can hold 600! We did not book any rooms but they do have a restaurant and full bar that was open at night. Front desk staff was very friendly escorting our guests to our party room. Would recommend renting space here for your future parties!
Staff weren't the friendliest (especially at the bar) but
Staff weren't the friendliest (especially at the bar) but it's a really really nice hotel with a cool layout. There's a restaurant, little store and coffee shop for convenience. The public bathrooms and store are lacking menstrual products..
Give Mo a raise! Yes! A raise! I love Mo's customer service
Give Mo a raise! Yes! A raise! I love Mo's customer service at the front desk. He seems generally happy to be at work. That makes me want to stay. I also love the restaurant staff! They worked hard and the martini was so good! We booked three rooms. All the rooms were spacious and clean . Great fitness area and pool as well. If you are ever in the twin cities this is the place to book a stay.
No WiFi during our stay!
Their internet service was down the whole weekend. Breakfast was so so, cold items great, hot items pretty bad. Gray sausages, potatoes hot on the outside, frozen on the inside. Coffee was terrible. There were sliding doors between sinks and toilet/shower area which made for little privacy, and the sliding doors were very dirty, fingerprints & smudges on the white paint; partially because it was difficult to pull them open.

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
