This is my second time coming to this Korean bbq restaurant
This is my second time coming to this Korean bbq restaurant on Bell Blvd. There's a lot of meats to choose from if you want to go a la cart. Otherwise the sets they have on the menu is a great sampler of all the bbq you would want. Comes with small dishes, choice of soup, and egg soufflé. There's an extensive drink menu for soju and beer drinkers alike. Great food and service!

This new kbbq spot is definitely worth a visit! We ordered the Mister Seoul large combo, a side of brisket, korean rice cake, the soybean stew and kimchi jjige, volcano steamed egg, beef tartare and bulgogi fries. The standouts were the brisket and ribeyes. The meats were so soft and tender and the stews were also extremely flavorful.

Got the small mister seoul combo and I left stuffed! the boneless short rib and and black angus short rib was my fav. the boneless ribeye was tuff to eat and that happened to be the biggest meat that was offered. The interior is cute and the workers cook for you. Price wise, they are slightly pricer but they do have happy hour deals for drinks during the day!
Be the first to ReplyNice atmosphere and even better meat.
I wish they didn't change some of the meats on the combos though. Other than that I always enjoyed eating here.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and son love the cuts of meat here.
Everything is good and consistent. Definitely recommend.

i've tried a few different Korean barbecue places and wanted to give this one a shot. Service was excellent. Food was good. Definitely had more flavorful barbecue at other places with a variety of different marinades. Went for lunch, and the portions were a little smaller than we had hoped for the price but all in all a good experience.

I loved this place!! The servers were amazing, super attentive and sweet. Great a la carte KBBQ with other Korean options. We got their rice cake, veggie dumplings, kimchi pancake and chicken, short rib, and rib eye. They refilled all of the sides multiple times and even brought us kimchi soup and egg custard on the house. I really had a great experience and will be back. I wish I took pictures but I was too busy eating!!
Be the first to ReplyOverall, Mister Seoul is a pretty good place.
The servers were especially nice. However, the place is pretty small and the tables are also tight, making it kind of difficult to have extra things like drinks around. The food is decent. Not sure if it's particularly special compared to other bbq places, but the quality of the meat was good.

1st time here & I loved the food! You get 5 side dishes: salad with sesame dressing, sesame broccoli, potato & spam, cucumber kimchi, & kkaktugi & kimchi. I loved the dressing with the salad, the lettuce was fresh. I thought the broccoli was going to be extremely bland since it looked so plain but I was so wrong! It was so good thanks to the sesame flavor. If you're Muslim or Jewish, be ware of the potato side dish that has spam. The cucumber kimchi & baechu kimchi were too spicy. The latter was too fermented for us. Otherwise, the other 2 kimchis were really good. I got my usual, harmful sundubu jjigae which I requested to be very mild. It was still a bit too spicy for me but was great otherwise.
Be the first to ReplyTheir meat is mediocre.
Nothing special. The worst was tongue, thinly sliced, there is no fat at all. Super dry, no flavor. The service was extremely slow, took more than 15 min. to get waters on our table.Highly over priced for what customer can get.Three of us had spent more than $300 including tips. Not worth it.Will not come back for sure.
Be the first to ReplyTLDR: Decent choice for a la carte KBBQ, especially along
TLDR: Decent choice for a la carte KBBQ, especially along Bell Boulevard. Meat quality is good, prices are a bit on the higher side. It's a bit tight in here but the the space is nicely renovated. I found the tables to be particularly uncomfortable, even amongst Korean BBQ spots. All the meats were good quality but I did find the portions to be a bit small considered the pricing. If you're walking around the Bell Boulevard stretch and you're craving KBBQ, it's not a bad place. That being said - I have to drive to get KBBQ and for me there are numerous other places I'd rather make the trip to.If I lived around here or had to pick somewhere along Bell, it's a convenient option. Other than that - not much to really report back. More of a convenience than value for me.
Be the first to ReplyLooks like the main reason people go here is Korean bbq.
It is always packed with people. I tried their other dishes such as spicy rice cakes and fried shrimp. Just don't like how it feels so crowded in there all the time. People seem happy though , always groups of friends there or family.
Be the first to ReplyThe server was very kind and friendly.
I would say the seasoning in the food is more on the stronger side, so more sweet and salty. I'm fine with that so it was good for me but if you are sensitive to strong flavors this is not the place for you.Would also say that the price is a little steep compared to the portion so if you have a big appetite you would be paying a lot more.

Came on a Friday night and it was very busy! This is a good thing! It means food will be fresh! We ordered the premium beef set I think it's around $159 for the korean bbq , it comes with all kinds of meats like rib eye and short rib and steak. It also comes with kimchi stew and steamed egg! There's also many sides that comes with the korean bbq order! The sides was also very good and the steak was very juicy and soft! Everything was super delish! We also ordered two soju drinks (screwdriver and melon) which comes with popsicles in the drink. It's sweet and refreshing! Follow my IG: @nyc_food1e for more foodie adventures
Be the first to ReplyCraving for bbq food and stop by this local Korean bbq
Craving for bbq food and stop by this local Korean bbq restaurant to try. We didn't order the premium set. We just order a la carte to try. The food is pretty good but the pork belly is little too dry and lack of flavors. The appetizers and kimchi are delicious. Service is good and we sit on a stool chair is quite comfy. You can also store your clothes and and bags inside the chair so you won't get the smell so badly. Small restaurant but it's very nice and clean.

Dinners be aware! Ambiance and setting makes it fun to dine KBBQ at this location but dinners be aware! I ordered beef combo set; the presentation was fine but the meat is poor quality. Likely the lowest commercial grade. Unfortunately it was like chewing a rubber. They replaced to another slab of meat which was better but still lacks in quality. At least egg and soy bean paste soup was what I expected from an authentic Korean restaurant. Good luck!

Great late night bbq spot in the middle of bustling Bayside's main drag amongst all the bars and Greek spots! Their pricing is fair for the amount of food you get and their set menu for the meat combos are excellent. Staff is really nice and friendly plus they don't hover over you to grill every little morsel of meat for you either which I appreciated. We got there about 45 before closing and they were still super busy but accommodated my 2 person dinner party warmly.
Be the first to ReplyReally feels like you are eating in Seoul.
Delicious and fresh beef, I love this small variety dishes. I recommend eat at lunch time bc you will be so full that won't eat until the next day
Be the first to ReplyMister Seoul is a welcomed addition to an otherwise lacking
Mister Seoul is a welcomed addition to an otherwise lacking culinary scene that is Bell Blvd. Went with our besties for dinner before movies and what a great experience! The menu had some good value items. We order the vegetable pancake which tasted very fresh not a frozen premix sort. The service was welcoming. We loved that they cooked it for us in front of us. Great banchan but would love a bit more variety and the rice to me was a bit dry and hard. Otherwise all was yummy and would definitely return. We have had previous experiences at other Korean BBQ places where us non-Korean were short changed on the beef we ordered. Not here. Just welcoming and great food. A lot of IG worthy opportunities as well to be seized but I was too busy eating. Must try!
Be the first to ReplyYummmmmm!! Loved eating here.
The decor is so cute, and the restaurant is inviting. Now for the food: We had the Mister Seoul package, which includes various cuts of red meat. It comes with soup and steamed egg. We also ordered shrimp tempura and kimchi fries! The fries were so goood!!! Our server was awesome, he explained everything and cooked our meat to perfection. He checked on us often, and even brought us training chopsticks. The drinks were tasty as well. We also had the fried rice and it was delish!! We will def be back!!
Be the first to ReplySolid Korean fare in Bell Blvd.
We just do takeout at the moment so I'm sure the grill experience is better in person. Portions not huge but nice to have a taste of things with the boxes (meat, rice, broth, salad, Kim chi and a dumpling)
Be the first to ReplyIt was a windy cold day and our kids wanted to have a bbq.
As modern age parents with lack of skill and a grill, we decided to take them here. After reading the reviews of the quality of the meat, my husband was very excited. The place lives upto the hype almost in all sections except for a few things. 1. I'm not sure if it's the owner or he's the manager. Our seating and introduction to the restaurant was very poor. We were ignored for the most part till my husband starts ordering like a wild hungry bear. We asked for recommendations and wasn't given much. However - I have to say the busboy who helped was very sweet and he would come and ask if we're doing ok or need anything. 2. We felt rushed with our food. We spent over 250$ and literally felt like we had to finish everything in 1 hour or it'll be end of it. We appreciate the cooking but honestly could do it ourselves and in our own pace. 3. We would have liked it for the menu to be a bit explained when we asked questions. It seemed like if we didn't know what the menu said - we have to just order it anyway. Food: 1. Meats - great quality and grade. Grilled nicely 2. Fries: delicious 3. Soup: please take this off the menu. Literally my kids were angry about this dish and I've never seen them upset about a dish. Tasteless.4. Glass noodles: my girls really liked this. Well done and flavored 5. Volcano egg: this was quite interesting and my kids enjoyed it Overall I'll probably go back but with like a plan to ask to cook my own meat at our own pace and push for the menu to be explained.
Be the first to Reply4 stars for the incredible food and really great service
4 stars for the incredible food and really great service the first time we went. We got a set, shared between three people and it was more than enough. However, the second time we went, food was great but the cooking if the meats wasn't as perfect as the first time. In the end, the flavors made up for it and the banchan was also great. Now, the third time we attempted to go at 2:55 in the afternoon. One guy was in the back, sleeping. He picked his head up, looked at us, and put his head back down. Three other people sat in the outdoor section and didn't even look up. The most bizarre experience, especially after the past 2 great ones. We left and will probably come back for dinner, but it was very very strange. Honestly, it'd be better for them to close during the day then just not be responsive. I'd still highly recommend it for dinner, but lunch service, not so much.
Be the first to ReplyLet me say, I finally found a place where I can enjoy
Let me say, I finally found a place where I can enjoy Korean BBQ with good vibes. I usually like to drink and eat Korean BBQ, but most places seem like every other restaurant. Older employees who just cook meat and get on with their business. But not Mister Seoul, it gives me that pojangmacha vibes with a 5 star steak house. There is a hidden gem in this store and I challenge everyone to try it. It's the beef tongue! Its a perfect combo with the soju. It's thick enough to give you great texture and its gaminess is on point. It's sure a fun piece to eat and enjoy while talking with your friends. The short ribs & ribeye were amazing as well, but for me, the beef tongue stole the show! Even my Italian friend who never tried it couldn't stop eating it!

I will be returning here to eat because it's a rule of thumb to go where you're welcomed. the staff was friendly, accommodating, and overall exceptional. I enjoyed the juicy sweetness of their galbi, the beef short rib had a nice smoky depth, and black cherry beer might be a new favorite. overall, they have a formula that really works for them, well portioned sauce and veggies to balance out the fattiness.
