Mom's Kitchen & Bar Queens Reviews from The Last Year
I really liked this place and it's definitely kids friendly.
They gave our daughter crayons and a few kids items to choose from. As far as our own food goes, they were great as well and portions were decent as well. Staff were really friendly, great place, would come back again.
Food was good and the staff was friendly.
I like the kitschy atmosphere in this place. Coffee was cold though and I feel we were rushed out. We've been a few times and I'll go back, but I would hope we don't get rushed again.

My kids traveled far to get there to get mom wings on Mother's Day. 1&1/2 dozen...18 wings. $50!!!!!!!! Why? Truly..why so much? We never complain, but did you overcharge/upcharge for that day? They were not up to par either (soggy). Left everyone disappointed on a special day. Never again. Such a shame.

Such a nice spot! I've read about the Manhattan location so I was happy to know there was an other location just in Astoria. I went for brunch on Sunday afternoon, and I was pleased. They sat us down at the tables of their sister bar - we were outside so it was fine for them. We were provided with both menus. We also had a Mac and cheese which was great. The short rib grilled cheese was massive, but the cheese wasn't really felt at all. House burger was very good. The drink was sugary and could feel the alcohol!! Overall a good experience, but service was a bit slow (I guess that sitting us a bit far didn't exactly help). I would go back :)
Mom kitchen and bar is really a vibe.
So many brunch choices and drinks it took a while to pick. Ended up getting the Mac & cheese pancakes, chicken and waffles and also cinnamon French toast. All were really delicious. The drinks were good as well . I forgot the name of it tho. Definitely would come back. Service was good as well.

The nice May weather days are are becoming more often and enjoying this weather what better company than a Boozy Milkshake, we were looking for a dessert spot but also something to drink and we didn't regret this option! The service was quick to serve our orders! And ad you can see the ambiance outside is beautiful for a nice spring weather ! I dont give them a 5, because I feel they had happy hour options and they didn't offer them to us! I also wish they had a bottomless option too! Haven't tried the food but thinking on going back soon

This is cute trendy place located in a corner spot of Astoria. On weekdays it's usually pretty easy to get a table inside for brunch. I went here with my kid and I got the pancake burrito and she got the mom's burger. The sizes are huge and I think it's to justify the prices of their entrees. The pancake burrito was very tasty- it's like a ginormous fancier McGriddle if you can imagine the taste and texture. The pancake was perfectly fluffy while maintaining a crisp texture on the edges and stored all the bacon sausage fluffy eggs well. It truly is a dish for people who enjoy savory and sweet breakfast all in one. My kid opted for the mom's burger which was tasty but she felt it was way too big to put in your mouth so she had to deconstruct it to really eat it. She said it could do without the ham. The salad they gave with her burger was substantial and it cut through the grease of her burger very well to give it balance. I would say my only critique of the restaurant would be that there's no "classic" breakfast platter- my kid wanted just eggs over easy, some breakfast meat and hashbrowns... all of the brunch entrees that had egg were either omelette style or in a vessel like the pancake burrito. I also wish they had regular pancakes- sorry but fruity pebbles is just too sweet for me on the regular though it looked pretty when I saw other customers order it. If you want unique breakfast dishes then this is def the place to go.

Cool retro brunch spot with instagrammable meals and milkshakes. Nothing you haven't seen before in NYC but implemented well. I wish there were more savory brunch items that weren't deep fried.

The food here was good and the portions were large enough to share. My party and I had the shrimp and grits, the bedrock pancakes, and Mac and cheese pancakes. Everything was delectable, we were so full and happy!
Quaint spot on 31st ave and 33rd street serving breakfast
Quaint spot on 31st ave and 33rd street serving breakfast starting at 9am. Surprisingly small space indoors, but in good weather they have a ton of outdoor seating on the street and on the sidewalk. Very much a diner vibe with the Jetsons on TV and the condiments and served out of metal lunch boxes. Service was on point. We waited a little bit for our food, but the restaurant was 2/3 full at 10 am on a Friday. We ordered chicken and waffles and avocado toast. The chicken was perfectly breaded and crispy. I would 100% order this again. The avocado toast was also good, but not the best ever. For these two items our final bill was over $50 (with nothing to drink except water). The portions are large enough to share if you are not starving. This will be my new go-to spot for weekday breakfast and brunch!
This place always has the best service.
Our waitress Iman was so sweet and gave great recommendations. She made the experience enjoyable! The Mac and Cheese is amazing!
Mom's is the cutest little restaurant you'll ever see.
These service was good and most of the food was delicious. We didn't care for the short rib grill cheese. The atmosphere was nice and cheery.
Food - 4.
5 Service - 4 Atmosphere - 4 The food here is delicious and plentiful. I ordered the chicken bacon and waffle, and it was everything I hoped for. The chicken was crispy, the waffle was savory, and the bacon was thick and delicious. It has a little sauce on the top that includes a Cholula syrup. I was stuffed after eating it. I also tried the bloody Mary. Delicious and filled with fresh horseradish. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cool. It's a tight spot but worth the visit.
We went to Mom's Kitchen in queens for my grandson birthday
We went to Mom's Kitchen in queens for my grandson birthday on a Sunday March 3. We had a little wait but it was worth it. We was seated outside but it was comfortable and heated. Our server was patient and efficient, we had a large group. Benny was the hostess in the front and kept us informed until we were seated. He is an amazing person and great at his job. The food came out hot, and delicious. We had the shrimp and grits, pancakes, and chicken and waffles...Just to name a few dishes. The drinks, momosa specifically, was great. We will definitely be back.

Went to Mom's for a birthday brunch and it was great for the occasion but I don't think I can stomach the food all the time. Think the munchies meets greasy hangover food. Weird combos that work but eat here once and you'll be set for the rest of the day.

We had the chicken and waffles so good! We want to come back and try the pancake burrito.

While exploring options for breakfast in NYC with friends,
While exploring options for breakfast in NYC with friends, we stumbled upon Mom's Kitchen. Upon arrival, we found the space to be smaller than expected, and as it was crowded, we were seated outside despite the rainy weather. Though heaters were provided, it was still quite uncomfortable. The menu boasted a variety of enticing meals and drinks, including gigantic mimosas that delighted some of my friends. Our orders ranged from breakfast sandwiches to steak and eggs, avocado toast, and soup, and everyone was pleased with their choices. Initially, our waitress was attentive, but halfway through our meal, her presence dwindled, and it took considerable time to receive our check. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was satisfactory.
One of my favorite restaurants in Astoria.
Great drinks, food, staff and ambiance. I recommend the Nutcracker

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
