Another one of my favorite dinners from Paris! The Paris
Another one of my favorite dinners from Paris! The Paris Society does not disappoint. The restaurant is a bit hard to find -- it's located on the backend of the Palais de Tokyo, but I have to say that the vibes here were so nice and pristine. My friend and I came for a nice dinner after work, and it was such a fun time. I started off with the Kyoto cocktail, which was refreshing and not too strong. We then got the Lobster Roll to share as an appetizer and I got the Tataki Crusted Ahi Tuna as my main. The Lobster Roll was a trendy take on the classic dish, though I thought they were a little skimpy on the portion of lobster, and the toast really. carried this one The tuna dish was delicious, but my favorite part of this was the avocado salad that accompanied it. It was citrusy and very fresh. Dining here felt like a real treat, and highly recommend for an upscale evening :-).

I am first going to start with this - Looks can be deceiving. And this establishment is a prime example of how everything that "glitters isn't gold". How can such an "exquisite fine-dining" restaurant in a prime location not live up to its expectations? Well I am here to tell you all of the reasons why they did not. Made reservations weeks in advance for a party of six. Because we had received such timely responses from the staff via email to book our reservation, we felt like we had made the right decision. That quickly changed the minute we arrived to the restaurant. We were "welcomed" or should I say subjected to stares and not much of a greeting from the hostess that asked for the name of our reservation. While waiting to be seated we were literally brushed off to the side and told to move over. Once taken to our table, by the same hostess that barely greeted us, we were asked to sit at a table that in the corner of the restaurant with an obstructed or shall I say not even obstructed - totally hidden view of the restaurant right by the back entrance for the servers near the HOT kitchen. To make matters worse, the table was set in a way where it was NOT accommodating for three couples to have a romantic intimate dinner. There was an added chair at the end of the table - right in the pathway where the servers bustled and rushed back and forth. When we expressed our concern to the hostess and asked if there were any other options, she hastily said "No, your reservation is for six and this is a table for six. We have nothing else." We asked if we could nearby at the 3 two-guest tables directly across from us and the answer of course was still no. We asked to speak with a Manager, who did come over and was much more empathetic and did tell us that unfortunately this was the only option unless we wanted to wait 20-30 min. We decided to stay and try to make the best of it because we knew that trying to find another restaurant on Valentine's Day night would be nearly impossible. But quite honestly - I would have had a better experience at a local small business pizzeria than there! By the time we finished waiting for our table, trying to get better accommodations from the hostess and Manager we didn't get settled at the table until a little after 10pm (our reservation was at 9:30pm). Once seated we waited yet another 15 minutes before our waitress came over to the table despite her walking past our table multiple times before stopping. We ordered our drinks and once our drinks came, the waitress accidentally spilled the apple martini onto my friend's entire back. Now I am fully aware that accidents happen an the waitress was apologetic, however, the situation was not handled properly. There was no follow up with "let me get you some napkins" or at least "let me get you a new drink on the house". We had to request that a new martini be made! As for dinner - service was rushed, food was subpar and took forever to come. Our waitress completely ignored our table unless we literally waved our hand frantically to get her attention. And to make matters worse - the entire time servers were rushing past knocking into the chair that they put at our table that they thought was a smart table setting. It was a hazard not only for us but also for their servers. That drink was not the only incident that occurred all because they chose to be lazy and greedy and make a table for six that should have never even been. Or two our friends had t left, then the person that sat there would have been subjected to food and/or drinks falling on them! Not to mention that there was a party of four behind us, and our tables were in such close proximity that we were literally back to back with only room to squeeze out. And to make matters even worse - it was so HOT!!!! We were literally sweating the entire dinner. It was so stifling because we were sitting right near the kitchen. I have reached the character limit for this review and honestly I wish I could write more. I will leave with this - DO NOT GO!!!!!

Food-Exquisite Service-Top Notch Ambiance-Beautiful With that being said I cannot give this restaurant the 5 stars it deserves because I saw mice running around the restaurant. At LEAST 3 times while we ate dinner. I dont know how normal that is in Paris but it freaked me out because the restaurant isn't empty. There a several tables here, loud talking & music playing...to see multiple mice or the same mouse several times is unacceptable. Informed the staff and the manager said "oh there's construction going on so there are a few mice running around" like it was okay. Please don't waste your money if you don't mind eating with mice at your feet.

Came here last week on my trip to Paris! The location was great as you can see a view of the Eiffel Tower. However, the only thing good here was the truffle pizza. The lamb chops here are so overpriced and wasn't good at all. Very bland and flavourless. The raspberry martini was pretty good but that's it. Wouldn't recommend to dine here. The service was okay as well.

Wow! Delicious food! I enjoyed the escargot, very flavorful with a delicious basil butter sauce. They also had a good wine selection.
Be the first to ReplyWhile on a couples vacation we discovered this gem.
The French wine that the waiter recommended was beyond extraordinary. Some plates are small and some are larger. We had the búfala mozzarella that is cut table side was amazing. We had the escargot, delish and the grill octopus. The octopus was tender as can be, served with a red pepper sauce and chorizo. One of the best I've had. The view of the Eiffel tower was a great touch to the great ambiance!

Our server was very sweet and she spoke English and Spanish which was very helpful as my French is very minimal. The food was by far one of the best we had while visiting France! I would have to say the portioning was a good-filling size which is intentional in order to fully savor the entire meal. Would highly recommend and on our list to come visit when back in Paris. The attire is very classy and formal but we didn't know when we came in. Luckily we weren't turned away and got to experience this amazing place!

DO NOT GO HERE! Traveled all the way from Chicago bc I saw this restaurant had nice views of the Eiffel Tower and a great ambiance only to get seated in a corner where you can't even see it out the window. I asked if we could be moved (and I would leave my daughter's stroller up front) and she said no. That's despite the restaurant having PLENTY of empty seats in the main dining with a better view. On top of that, due to health restrictions my husband doesn't eat a lot in one meal so he wanted to order an appetizer and side. We have traveled the world and have never heard such nonsense! How can you force someone to order an entree especially if nothing interests them? We've been to other fine dining places in Paris and this was a first! I will never come back here when I'm in Paris again but I plan to tell everyone about how much of a disappointment this place is. I recommend you go to Girafe where the view is great in EVERY seat!

We traveled to Paris for a girls trip to celebrate our birthdays. No lie, dinner at Monsieur Bleu was the BEST meal we enjoyed during the entire trip. The staff was superb and welcoming. The ambiance was sleek and chic. The DJ played standard house throughout dinner, which isn't necessarily our vibe but provided a nice backdrop. We had several of the appetizers (the truffle pizza is must) and we each got an entree. I thoroughly enjoyed the filet mignon. The cocktails were unique and tasty. They even brought out a birthday dessert decorated with a fun sparkler candle. Definitely would recommend this place for a special occasion dinner in Paris!

The onions and parsley made the steak taste even better. Would definitely come back!

Went for a work lunch and everything on the menu looked good. Staff spoke Francais et Anglais. The outdoor and indoor dining spaces were beautiful, a perfect balance of modern chic and vintage classic park room.

AMAZING!!The staff was friendly and the restaurant is definitely on the "higher end" minus the "uptight" feel. Did I mention, the views of the Eiffel Tower (would suggest going at night) Would definitely recommend 10/10

The ambiance is gorgeous and perfect for a special occasion-- but it glamorously covers up bad service. We attempted to celebrate our anniversary dinner but after being sat down we were provided zero service. After being brought water 10 minutes later, the server abruptly left again without asking for our order. The restaurant was not busy for a 730pm on a Sunday night. We recommend you choose elsewhere rather than spending your money on a place with poor table manners. Moral of the story-- we walked out before giving them a chance to redeem themselves which honestly did not seem to be on their agenda
Be the first to ReplyGorgeous views.
Food was yummy. Highly recommend truffle pizza and truffle pasta. Service was amazing
Be the first to ReplyBest meal we had in Paris.
Our server Mehdi was fantastic! We highly recommend Monsieur Bleu.
Be the first to ReplyMy boyfriend was recommended this place for us to visit
My boyfriend was recommended this place for us to visit when we went to Paris and it was honestly the best meal we had while there. We sat outside facing the Seine (and technically the Eiffel Tower but it was blocked by trees). We started with the beef tartare which was hands down the best beer tartare we've ever had. I still think about it lol They also served complimentary bread as well as some delicious warm french fries. For the meal, my boyfriend got the pork belly with delicious potatoes and I got the seared tuna. Both were very good, but I liked his pork belly a little bit more. Overall a great experience, server was kind and friendly. Personally we weren't in a rush and enjoyed the gorgeous October weather, but it was more of a leisurely meal so keep that in mind if you're on a tight schedule.
Be the first to ReplyWe had absolutely joy with the service and food.
Fish was great even thou it was little overcooked , the rest of the dishes were quite amazing.Hope to visit Paris again.

Although the inside was dark, and just okay aesthetically, the food at Monsieur Bleu was the BEST we had in Paris. The photos all highlight their gorgeous garden patio with views of the Eiffel Tower, but in the colder months they don't seem to use it (which was a bummer). We loved that they had a live DJ spinning tunes and the Spicy Beef was astounding; like melt in your mouth amazing. The staff was super friendly as well, and happy to help us in English, after we tried our best in French. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris to visit Monsieur Bleu-- food was exceptional, vibes were great, overall ambience inside were okay.

Classy and elegant with over the top service! The view of Eiffel Tower is only visible from the outside but this place is each bit romantic as can be! Definitely recommend it
Be the first to Replydef recommend.
Go dressed on the nicer side and order the rock shrimp and spring rolls!
Be the first to ReplyMonsieur Bleu was a very big disappointment.
They claim to have a view of the Eiffel Tower when in fact, it's covered by a tree. The menu is very expensive with mediocre food. In addition, we had an exceptionally poor experience when we tried ordering light for a group of four with mainly appetizers, and we had the manager approach us telling us we had to order at least THREE main dishes in order to dine there. I want to add we ordered a pretty solid amount of food- it wasn't like we ordered fries and drinks....I've been to many fine dining establishments in Paris (as well as all over Europe) and not once have I had this issue. It was rude and embarrassing and I will certainly not recommend anyone to come here in the future.

So this restaurant was hyped by many people online but I found it to be overpriced and very pretentious. The food was average at best and when we tried to order an entree and an appetizer we're tole we had to order Two entrees. There are at least 100 tables at this restaurant ( when the outside is open) so I don't understand how hard it is to get a table. Wish it was worth the hype but it's not!
