Amazing Experience!
The service and food were phenomenal. We flew in from The Bahamas to celebrate our 13th anniversary and our dinner here made all the difference!

Visiting Mortons after a long time. Fond memories didn't disappoint. Awesome cuts dried to perfection charred to like. Prime meat. The marbling displays that and the sauces we ordered sides were well spiced to perfection. Good service too. Will go for more.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, sub par experience though.
This is my second time eating here. Not sure if it was the way I dressed (jeans, converse, blouse), perhaps I looked out of place. I was dining with a dear friend and was dressed pretty casually. Was the service affected by my attire? I think so. I ordered oysters on the half shell as an appetizer, the server explained to me that they were raw…..how else are they supposed to be served? I thought explaining that was a little odd, but continued my order. I requested the NY strip, rare. The server then explained to me that rare meant cool and red in the middle, I mean, c’mon! I felt like a five year old. Ordered our sides, asparagus and sour cream mashed potatoes. No complaints about the food. It was expertly prepared and delicious. I would have had a better experience without the supercilious attitude of the server.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and I had high expectations based on what friends had said. When I go to a restaurant I like getting bang for my buck. For almost $400, I certainly did not get that! Everything is an add on and an expensive one at that. My steak was $70 and was just the steak. If you want anything to go with it, well just keep adding. Steak lacked flavour as did the spinach and mushrooms. Restaurant felt dated and lacked atmosphere. I won’t be back.

Having been to many top steakhouses in the world, I wasn’t impressed with the quality of food and service. The seating area was orientated more like family restaurant rather than a top steakhouse, not to mention that it was quite cramped. I wouldn’t choose to dine there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
Be the first to ReplyIt was just ok. Not worth the money
I had heard from so many how amazing Morton’s is but overall I found it to be just ok. I think our waiter was new. It took quite a few minutes for someone to give us a menu and take our drink order, it wasn’t our waiter, another waiter noticed we had been sitting there for a while. Our waiter was really trying but there were many aspects of a high end steakhouse experience that were missed. We shared the porterhouse which lacked flavour. We ordered The blue cheese butter and black truffle butter to accompany and those were fantastic. The sautéed spinach and mushroom side had no flavour as well. Truffle fries were great. The cheesecake was really good. The star of a steakhouse is the steak and it was just ok. I won’t be returning. Not worth the $400 bill

We frequent Morton’s and I must say that the Toronto location was a HUGE disappointment. My steak was super charred and everything else had little to no taste. The young lady who served us did provide good service.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing celebratory night out!
We had an excellent waiter named Mikey. Service was impeccable. We had 4 children with us (10-15) and they were treated like the adults. Amazing food. Great wine selection.
Be the first to ReplyWorst experience.
Is it because we were three women. Ran out of potatoes at 645. Really? Forced to order something else. Charged for something else we were forced to order. Ordered wine - told they didn’t have it - really? Black and blue steak ice cold. Manager told us to ask for him the next time but not on a Saturday because too busy - really? Unbelievable. Never never going back there. Not one penny deducted from our bill.

Toronto has many great restaurants and Morton’s is right in there with them! Very intimate and great to have deep conversation! The food is first rate and so is the service!

High quality food and service, Mike our server was amazing. Got the prime manhattan steak and signature prime New York strip. Great view of the falls!

Had dinner there last weekend and it was exceptional in every way. First off we got a table very late in the day and so expected to be seated in a terrible spot. One of the managers, Brady, took great care of us though and was kind enough to seat us in a booth which was awesome. Our servers, whose names I can’t recall (sorry guys), were super helpful, great suggestions, funny and attentive. Most importantly their suggestion on wine was spot on. And of course the food - we ordered and shared a number of things - tuna tartare, French onion soup, chopped salad, chicken Christopher, lobster and more - all delicious. And while we were there we got some good news and the stuff picked up on it and brought us a dessert as congrats - an unexpected, unnecessary and amazing treat. Kudos to Morton’s Toronto. Looking forward to my next visit (sooner rather than later)
Be the first to ReplyTerrible experience with them not processing refund for undelivered gift card.
I purchased a gift card online for the Toronto location for $250.00. The restaurant takes you to their third party partner cashstar to order.Payment was made and purchase was confirmed. The card did not arrive. I was made to wait two weeks.Card still did not arrive.I was told that the gift card would be cancelled and a refund of $250.00 would be applied to my credit card. (since I wanted to give the card as a gift,I called the location and made arrangements to pay and pick up another gift card, all of which i was trying to avoid during covid). That promise of refund was Sept.18, 2020. I have not yet received the refund. Mortons says they can't help. Cashstar is taking the position that they will not look into it any further. The bank has double checked and no credit was ever applied to my account. Cashstar may have "processed" my refund but they did not complete it. I have spent hours following up and on hold but Cashstar/ Mortons/ Landry's still has my $250.00!!!
