We had a party of six, four adults and two kids (4 & 5), with tax and gratuity (automatic 18% add-on) was about $208. Kids are charged based on height. The food is fine, nothing spectacular. I think they could elevate the experience if they used charcoal instead of gas because the meat had a propane aftertaste. I do appreciate that they have quite a selection of hot foods for customers to choose from, which is great for kids. One thing I do want to recommend is to order your meats double portions each time because they don't give you much. One hour into our dining, our server came back and said this would be our last order because the limit for each table is 90 minutes. Honestly, I wouldn't need to double my order amount if service was quicker, but my goodness, they were slow and sometimes missed a portion of our order. Overall experience was mediocre. I wouldn't be the one suggesting to dine at this place unless my friends convince me to go with them.

When this restaurant was Niku Niku, everything was so delicious. After the revamp to Niku Feast, everything has gone downhill. Sure I understand for the price of $32, some meats will not be great quality but ALL of the cuts of meat were so tough and chewy. If you have bad teeth, you probably cannot eat any of the meat here. The pictures of the meat on the menu don't look anything like what they actually serve. The picture of the roasted sesame salad on the menu has tomatoes and onions in it but what was served was just cut up romaine lettuce with dressing. The corn cheese is just corn with maybe 2-3 shreds of cheese. The salad bar was a mess. I sat next to the salad bar and the entire time I was there not one person came to clean up the mess. I felt like the waiter or anyone at the restaurant wasn't even trying. The waiter brought out cooked appetizers and proceeded to place them on top of the trays that had raw meat. It's a shame that the really nice grill system is just wasted here. I think it's better to save your money and go to Seoul Meat Co.
Be the first to ReplyThe cuisine is excellent, but the all-you-can-eat (AYCE)
The cuisine is excellent, but the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) service model leaves much to be desired. Diners are told they have 90 minutes from the moment they're seated; however, in practice, the ordering window is cut to just one hour. Typically, one would expect to place their final order at the 90-minute mark, but here, you're given 90 minutes to dine with orders being restricted after the first hour. I visited during a Saturday evening, which may have impacted my experience. After ordering my selection of meats, it took 20 minutes before any of them arrived. Losing a significant portion of the allotted time to waiting was frustrating, especially with the strict timing rules. The quality of the meat and the affordability of the meal are highlights. To avoid feeling rushed, I recommend visiting on a slower weekday. This may allow for a more relaxed dining experience without the pressure of the restaurant's timing constraints.

My girlfriend and I took a trip to seattle for our anniversary and I was tasked with looking for an anniversary dinner. This place popped up on my yelp after being on the 15th page of yelp and came across Niku Niku and decided we were gonna go here. The place ended up being 25 mins outside of the city, so we ubered and honestly was so happy with everything. The service was absolutely amazing. The server we had was very informative on all the menu items and also recommended items and also told us what not to get. He also helped cook some of the meat, which was nice. Very similar to KBBQ but i think the meat quality is bettter in Japanese BBQ. Everything we had was amazing, I highly recommend ordering a la carte for the meat vs the combo. Over ambiance is nice, very relaxing yet still aesthetically pleasing.

Came after they shifted to AYCE and was sad to find that the quality of meat has gone down. We got the following from the AYCE menu: Onion rings - pretty good Cheese corn - lacked cheese so the corn didn't stick together Ribeye - bland and tough Marinated karubi - this was pretty good Pork belly - bland and tough Shrimp - I didn't have this myself but it seemed ok King oyster mushroom - good AYCE also includes sides, fruits, miso soup, rice with topping options of curry or gyu don. Overall, it's still a good value for the price. Note: if you're a fan of the oishi rice like me, sad news... it has been removed from the menu.

We visited this place for some Wagyu beef after seeing some rave reviews online. The meat definitely did not disappoint. We got the Wagyu combo and overall the combo was nice. Sadly, the combo doesn't not include any good A5 cuts. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and upscale but it is inside a grocery store and feels very out of place when you enter. The service was very nice, the waiter explained us the different drinks they serve and we love their Nigori. Overall, it was a good experience but I do feel that the amount of good cuts meat served in the combo is very less. It does fill us two average people due to all the filler carbs in the combo.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food selection.
Nice ambience and staff give guests full attention. I suggest booking a reservation if you are planning for a large group or dining at a busy time

Went here with my 10y/o son for a special dinner (his Christmas present). Had a reservation and they were able to seat us early on a Saturday night, which was nice. Our server, Jim, was prompt in taking our drink orders. We got the wagyu sampler and a side of A5 ribeye heart. The service and food were excellent. For our first time at a Japanese steak house, they were very helpful in showing us how to grill, which sauces to use, etc. The experience overall was excellent, good value for the money, and we will surely be back!
Be the first to ReplyNiku Niku is located inside a small unassuming mall.
The interior decor is super modern and cool, dim lighting with minimal neon lights. We got the wagyu combo set menu where you can choose a few different options amongst the set. As part of the set menu, you can choose their yuzu soba cold noodles for an extra $5. I'd highly recommend the yuzu soba noodles. It has a unique flavor with a hint of wasabi, super delicious and refreshing. The wagyu set menu comes with the wagyu meat cuts, a bunch of sides, two soups, two salads, and two tacos. It's not cheap but definitely worth ordering. It is a lot of food for two people. If you come with three or four people, I'd recommend ordering a few additional meats on top of the wagyu set and it should be perfect. Japanese bbq paired with a cold beer is perfect. I'd highly recommend this spot for Japanese bbq.
Be the first to ReplyThey advertise as closing at 9pm on Sundays.
I get there at 8:27pm and they refuse to serve me. I'm there from Vancouver with my family, including children, and they tell me they won't serve me as I'm too late and they were closing. There were still people eating inside but they insisted I was too late. Awfully rude people and disrespectful to customers who literally drove over 2 hrs to get there. They were not even apologetic. If you plan to dine here, plan ahead and get here hours before they're advertised closing time, or call ahead before you get there.

Super cool mood lighting and it didn't feel too suffocating for a BBQ place. It felt super classy. We got the combo which was a nice way to try everything and their meat quality was really great. Some things were marinated but it didn't feel like it was soaked in sauce or that it was hiding the quality of the meat. The oishi rice was yummy and the flavors of the cold soba noodles were super unique. I liked their unagi bowl as well. Super nice eel and great for the price. Also went there to celebrate a friend's birthday and they were super nice of giving us the cake we brought and lighting a little candle. Really appreciated that extra touch from the servers.

Niku Niku is amazing! Been here a few times now and each time the food quality is consistently very good. My personal favorite dish is the A5 Wagyu Heart Slice as it literally just melts in your mouth but I've tried many different options I haven't had a dish I didn't like here. The price may be a bit more expensive than most other similar place, but they also have really great combo sets that help make your experience a bit more affordable if coming with a group. On top of that, great service! More so when not busy but the servers will typically offer to help cook your food if needed and check in pretty frequently.

Great BBQ!I have visited this restaurant alone, with my partner, and with my family -- our experiences have all been great. The service is really good, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is great. This restaurant is pretty cold temperature-wise, so bring something warm.
Be the first to ReplyI had a fantastic time at Niku Niku Japanese Barbecue.
The food was outstanding and the service was friendly. I loved the grilled meat dishes, especially the Oishi Rice which was flavorful and satisfying. The sauces were also delicious and complemented the meat well. The restaurant was clean and cozy, with a nice ambiance and music. I felt very comfortable and relaxed there. The staff was very attentive and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The only downside was that it was a bit smoky inside, so they could improve the ventilation system. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese barbecue.

5 Stars! Little bit disappointed because this place is NOT authentic Japanese yakiniku. We ordered beef combo and ALL dishes came at the same time including soba noodle. My fiancé ordered Sunnyside rice, but rice was dry or old and he didn't like it. Restaurant is organized and service was attentive, but I am not sure if we are coming back here.
Be the first to ReplyThis is easily the worst dining experience I've ever had.
We waited a while for our reserved table, waited for someone to take our drink order, waited over an hour for any food, and received no instructions on the different cooking times needed for our various raw meats and seafood. When we finally stopped someone to ask them how long we need to cook things for we were given a vague answer that the outside should be seared but other meat may need longer. No one checked in to see how we were doing, whether we needed more drinks, or if we were happy with our meal. At the end we had to ask for our bill to be separated which was another ordeal. I'm not typically the type of person to leave a review but this was truly horrendous.

SERVICE: we booked reservations online which is needed ! The atmosphere is clean and chic We were instantly greeted by the hostess and stood there for about a second and we were already off to our table . Our server was Oliver and wow this guy was the man ! We had been to yakiniku in Japan and we were wanting to find our "forever spot " we were celebrating my husbands birthday and we ordered anything and everything . Ordered : Duck breast, wagu sirloin , wagu entree which came with two starches, veggie etc , wagu cut steak, tongue, eel, pork , chicken , cold noodles , oolong tea X2 , and so much more ! The taste was magnificent the cuts of the meat were absolutely perfect and the plating was wonderful . Everything was presented beautifully . The dipping sauces and cooking sauces made the meat pop. Oliver : he was the best server we have ever had . His knowledge alone was outstanding. He helped us pick out what we wanted, be answered all questions we had , he was very personable and cared for us . He made this night very special to us and we couldn't be more excited to come back here . The food was spectacular, the atmosphere clean! Their busser was on point cleaning tables left and right , the servers were all lovely and kind . This was the best experience I've had in a long time at a restaurant. Thank you for making my husbands birthday dinner so special .

Always great service and great food, haven't had a bad experience once. I do recommend making reservations.
Be the first to ReplyCame here with my friend on Sunday evening.
It was easy making reservation on Yelp. I have been hearing about this place and finally got to try. The location is kind of between everywhere I usually go so it was hard to stop by. The restaurant is inside the Asian market, huge black doors on the right side as you walk in to the market. You can't see inside.Inside of the restaurant is pretty big with table seatings and the line of low tables with holes in the raised floor. Seems so much like Japanese yakiniku restaurants! Everything was very clean no greasy spot, even the sauce bottles were super clean unlike others. We ordered a combo that comes with beef dishes, appetizers/banchan, choice of rice, miso soup and salad. All for $120. The meat was better quality than Gyukaku. Zabuton was extremely tender with good flavor, my favorite of all. Tongue was really good too. Banchan was pretty small quantity we wanted the refill of some but was told it's be extra charge. The tabletop BBQer didn't produce much smoke as possibly strong fans set up underneath? sucked in all the smoke. It's not smoky at all inside the restaurant. I don't think my clothes were as smelly as they are when I go to other bbq restaurants. Nice! Overall, the quality of the meat, the price and cleanliness are the best in town.

Coming here 2 nights back to back obviously says a lot about this place. All meats were high quality. You get what you pay for, so try the waygu combo. We've tried the angus combo and we enjoyed the waygu more. So buttery and soft it melts in your mouth. The salads were okay, miso was really good though and the oishi rice was good as well. The service on the first night with the first guy with the blonde hair was subpar, he kept looking around the restaurant when I'd ask questions like he wanted us to hurry with our decisions being that we also told him that it was our first time. Eric in the other hand though, besides the meat quality is also the reason why my review stayed a 5 star review. He was great in lol aspects!

Ordered Various meats and can't remember exactly but took the recommendation of our server. Service is always top quality and they happen to be very attentive, relatable when needed and also know when to keep space when you're in depth conversation. The meats were fresh, cooked perfectly by the servers and had great sake to pair. Tasty rice. A definite must go to when im in Seattle!
Be the first to ReplyGreat quality of meats.
A little bit overpriced for the portion. Otherwise, service was great & the food was tasty. Great for some occasion or a date.

Price is Too expensive, how come 30+ dollars for only 5pcs so thick meat? They are just so thick. Not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyThe server was hospitable and attentive.
The meat quality was amazing. The A5 Wagyu was like sex in my mouth. I thought the yuzu soba would be like the regular zoru soba sauce with yuzu flavors but it's missing the grated daikon. It was not what I was expecting but still tasty.
Be the first to Reply2.5? I feel like the portioning plus given price point
2.5? I feel like the portioning plus given price point isn't that worth it compared to other JBBQ locations. We ordered the :* Tasting Set - $55 ordered two sets of these since one wasn't enough, favorite meat was the beef toungue rest were ok. I wouldn't recommend this set - I think you're better off just ordering the more of the meats you just prefer.* Yuzu Cold Noodles - $9 decent, wouldn't order again though* Salad - $6 just a basic salad, not enough dressing really* Corn - $4.. literally not even a full corn just 4 small half slabs* Kimchi - $4 and the portioning was ridiculously small.. not worth it I could get more at other places and the kimchi wasn't even that good * Potato Salad - $4/each portioning also so small.. ordered two* Rice - $2-4 rice being charged for rice feels like a sin :(Overall, the portioning were small. I wouldn't say the meats and side dishes were amazingly delicious too. So I wouldn't recommend this spot. Left just barely full and felt kinda robbed lol
