Good pizza , pasta and wine
We dined here with friends and while they have a limited menu compared to a full scale restaurant , they do what they offer very well . All items ordered were enjoyed . Pasta choices were interesting and wine by the glass gave you nice options . We would definitely dine there again .
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, very accommodating
First and foremost, this restaurant is super accommodating. I was with my wife, brother, and 1 year old daughter and they were really accommodating of our requests. They got us in even though they had a party scheduled shortly after our meal on their heated, covered backyard patio. We asked to move tables twice because of one table being too close to a heater and another just being a tight fit with our stroller, high chair, etc and the staff happily allowed us to do so. Food was really good and felt very authentic. We all split: 1.) Burrata appetizer - Burrata is always good, and this one was no different though it wasn't excellent. 2) Fettuccine Funghi Porcini - I'm not a huge mushroom guy, but this was really good. The dish has to be really good for me to good with eating mushrooms. 3) Anelletti Siciliani - Delicious baked pasta with beef ragu sauce, peas, and eggplants. I think I would've liked it better with a different sauce base. Tomato based sauces aren't my favorite, but it was still really good! I would happily go back here if I'm ever in NYC, but probably wouldn't make it an a priority given how many great restaurants are there.
Be the first to ReplyTraditional Italian perfection with fantastic staff
Perfect restaurant to visit pre or post Broadway. Amazing food - best Italian we have ever had. Staff were so friendly and accommodating for a quick dinner. Incredible pasta and delicious cocktails. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyBest pizza in town!
Great pizza, probably one of the best in all NYC. Service can be better. Server took my order wrong and i had to wait extra 20 mins for Pizza to be redone. Coffee isn’t good.
Be the first to ReplyUnlisted peanuts in their salad!!!
My 22 yr old daughter could have died from her allergy to peanuts when we ordered the salad with Gorgonzola, dried fruit and walnuts. It also included peanuts that was NOT included on the menu!!! We even asked the waiter to make sure there were no peanuts and he said YES!! I took a bite of the salad and I tasted a peanut!! What restaurant doesn’t list a life threatening ingredient on their menu now a days!!!! So disappointed and disturbed by the waiters lack of empathy or concern. My daughter was a wreck for the entire night…she is always so careful when we go out. For a Michelins rated restaurant we expected much more on every level.
Be the first to ReplyLovely Sicilian place
Small and perfectly formed restaurant with a great atmosphere. We had fantastic pizza, gorgeous Sicilian wine with great, unrushed service from staff that knew their stuff.

First of all yes, the food is good, very good. The pizza is authentic Italian and the decor is quintessential New York. It gets busy and last time i was there we waited a lot for our food to arrive ( so keep that in mind).

Be the first to ReplyAn ok pizza place
Ok for a quick bite. Nothing out of ordinary in terms of taste. Definitely can get a better pizza in Manhattan. It’s ok to try if you live close by
Be the first to ReplyWe will not be back.
This was the West 53 st. location.
The waiter spoke limited English and was difficult to understand. He spent very little time taking our order and everything we asked for he tried to steer us away from. I understand this is a challenging time for restaurants, but the experience was very dissatisfying.
Fantastic
Fantastic food! Funky atmosphere. Great service!
Best lasagne we have ever had and wonderful Sicilian wine. Loved it
Go here!!
we just dropped in and what a treat
I learned many trips ago not to over think where to eat. We were staying on the east side and searched Italian food on east side and ended up here at Norma. It was a great "bistro" like experience ( tables are close to each other ) with over the top pastas using the freshest of ingredients. A moderate price restaurant that will not disappoint
