Great Course Menu!
Had a business dinner here tonight and it was fantastic. Great service, incredible food and great price. There were 6 of us, so we had to take the private room as the chef counter only sits 4. The bar counter is recommended, but if your party is larger than 4, the private room is fine, but you do loose some ambiance. Highly recommend.

Showed up and was promptly seated at the bar for our reservation. Chef gets started right away and you get to watch a true professional at work. The menu we had was in Japanese and not sure if they had an English version but we kind of liked the surprise. He would put some cuts of meat on the grill and then serve then 3 courses later, obviously like all great chefs his timing was impeccable. Some of our favorites: beef tartare with uni, shabu shabu, beef tongue.

If you enjoy Beef, there simply is not a better place to visit.
From start to finish the dining experience was incredible, with numerous beef dishes all prepared with extreme care and skill over the 2 hour sitting. The quality of the food was breathtaking and left full and incredibly satisfied.
Having spent $700 on a meal for 2 (including alcohol) I thought the meal was incredibly good value for money and look forward to visiting again.
English unfortunately was not spoken in the restaurant, however all the staff including the head chef were incredibly warm and inviting.
Left with a bad taste in the mouth
I booked through Table All concierge service and received confirmation of the booking a month in advance for my wifeโs birthday. As such I had pre-paid over ยฃ300 for this meal.
On the night we arrived 10 minutes early as the email confirmation advised us to arrive ON TIME. We were asked to wait outside in the rain. This was not a good start. At 9:05 we asked if the manager was around as it wasnโt acceptable that we were waiting outside with no seating or acknowledgement.
At 9:15 I went inside to ask what was happening and was told some tables had over run and they were running late. I accept this, but to be kept outside with no seat in the rain made things worse. At this point my wife was in tears and wanted to go.
I spoke to the owner who confirmed that bookings from Japan take priority over those from overseas. It was disgusting to be treated like this having spent so much money and this restaurant is an embarrassment to Michelin Star establishments all over the world with such a poor level of service I would hesitate to book another.
So in summary, if you book through Table All, prepare to be disappointed and kept waiting outside until they see fit to prepare the table you have paid for.
Amazing dinner and hospitality of Chef Haruka Katayanagi!!!
We planned this dinner a year ahead for this Michelin star restaurant! I requested Amex Platinum concierge, and on their suggestion, the local hotel concierge did the booking and got us the prized "Counter Seating" - we took all the four seats for dinner.
It was a very intimate experience watching Chef Haruka Katayanagi do his magic and watch him conduct the show as well as perform. He speaks excellent English and took excellent care of us, right down to seeing us off to our taxi after the dinner which lasted two hours of feasting on every cut of Wagyu prepared in all the Kaiseki courses. We were a very happy lot after the dinner and anyone could have sold us a bridge at that moment! This turned out to be our best dinner during the entire Japan vacation.
