Unmissable seaside destination!
The new location of this sign has not affected the overall high caliber. An over the top experience, probably among the top three fish destinations in the Pescara area, despite not being on the sea! Daniele is a little genius. This sublime rise can be summed up in: excellent raw materials, equally high-quality preparations, centrality of the ingredient, never distorted (fortunately) and overall pleasantness. An absolutely must-try destination. Well done!
New headquarters with wood-fired oven
Spartan place that wants to remind you of something maritime. But let's get to the substance and take the hot appetizer and first course. Both are pleasant, the least good thing is the mussel stew. The roasted red tuna was excellent, I hadn't eaten one like this in a long time. Worth trying raw and seafood cured meats.
The raw meats are spectacular👏👏👏
I finally managed to go to this restaurant that I had longed for... after following it on social media! The reels published by the owner are spectacular and give an idea of the catch. The raw ones are exceptional, the hot ones are no less…. Even the first courses give an idea of how fresh and well cooked the fish is. The fried calamari is crunchy and not rubbery, as often happens in restaurants… The guy who showed us the various courses was good and competent👏. Good value for money! Reservation is almost mandatory to secure a place, as it is a place that hosts few seats...
Dinner show
A unique dinner, raw material never seen before. Uniqueness in every dish. I finally managed to find a fish restaurant where you actually eat fish, without being surrounded by fruit and other things. What can I say, well done. It's also a compliment to the well-trained and very nice waitresses
Delight
Sublime lunch, excellent raw food... top quality and impeccable service. The place is not large, reservations are recommended. The owner has been a tuna fisherman since he was a child, is particularly expert in maturing fish, and creates seafood cured meats, a rarity.
Disappointment
We were intrigued by the very favorable reviews and went to try this restaurant. The result: Room 5 (Small. Simple trattoria without any characterization of the furnishings) Service 6 - (the staff a little annoyed by the questions) Menu 5.5 (most of things indicated were not there) Fish 6.5 (fresh fish but little variety) Portions 5.5 (small especially because it is a tavern) Account 5.5 (high account in relation to the above).
YOU EAT BADLY AND PAY A LOT
We passed by this restaurant by chance but it was a huge disappointment! Meager dishes, medium-low food quality! They make you overpay to go home hungrier than before! From my point of view they should change jobs! That's no way to treat customers! To get paid certain amounts you have to give 5 star service and not only on the quality of the food but also on the service! If we had paid half the price for 2 stars we could have gotten there! If you want to eat fish in Pescara it is full of excellent places, we definitely won't go back to them! Furthermore, the icing on the cake to end on a high note is the owner, a rudeness in my opinion! In addition to the prices and portions, it would be the first thing to change!
Never again.
Considering the type of place the price is absolutely exaggerated. If I spend 70 euros I expect to be served and have the first course I ordered on my plate. Bringing pans to the table and forcing customers to make portions may be fine if it's a restaurant where you spend an average of 20 euros. A plate of seafood cured meats for two must allow you to share them, otherwise it would be better to say that it is for one person... I would say that this is elementary. And if we add that this plate is charged 20 euros for 4 microscopic pieces of seafood cured meats, then again, service and prices should be reviewed. Having said that, to my review regarding the simple criticism regarding the too high price and made on Google, the owner responded by inviting me to go and eat a sandwich at Cuccitella. Perhaps in addition to prices, the ability to do business would need to be reviewed. Too bad nothing can be done about the rudeness. After spending more than 700 euros, being told to go to Cuccitella leaves you feeling very saddened. We will certainly never go back again and I will not recommend it to acquaintances and friends.

Amazing dinner with friends, spectacular cold and hot raw fish, I don't usually eat fish but this is really delicious

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
