Completely Average
Visited this restaurant on a business trip, service was good, food was average but massively overpriced as was the wine. There was nothing about the place the would make me want to return. If you want excellent Chinese food try Yauatcha in Soho there’s no comparison Yauatcha is a different level. I would not return to this restaurant it’s a complete rip off.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible experience
My friends were already at the bar, I arrived at 12:15am but one of the security did not allow me to get in because, "by policy", after 12:10am nobody could walk in. My friends had full cocktails to consume and in the midtime I have been left outside for 30mins. My friends were asking help to the bartender for letting me in. At this point the bartender kindly asked the security but the guy got very upset and rudely replied to him that he needed a manager for the permission. The bartender has been super nice but at the end my friends decided to leave because I was waiting for too long and this is definetly not a way to treat a guest. I advice to stay far away from this bar. Really horrible,
Be the first to ReplyAverage Anniversary Dinner
Takes you back in time - great ambience and friendly staff. Staff - Friendly and attentive Food - the food was good - loved the truffle rice - must try. Portions were generally ok - though we couldn’t finish our mains and had to skip dessert. Live music - This was ok. Value - This is the real issue, very overpriced for what you get, just unsure how it can be justified. Would I go back again? No Would I recommend other to go? Sadly no, plenty of great restaurants in London. Overall we were left underwhelmed specially as it was our anniversary dinner.
Be the first to ReplyLovely venue, great entertainment but sadly lacking in atmosphere
Park Chinois as a venue is beautiful, however, we dined as a large group and I feel the cost per person for the group dining menu was very expensive for the amount of food we received. Dessert was quite comical...a few small squares of carrot cake at a Chinese restaurant. The a la carte portions are far more generous and whilst expensive, much better value for money. The entertainment in Club Chinois is fab - the acts are brilliant, however, on a Saturday night the venue was over half empty which seemed a shame. Once the show finished at around midnight the restaurant was exceptionally quiet and seemed to pretty much shut down. We moved to the bar for drinks but no-one came to serve us as was pretty evident they all wanted to go home, so we left after 20 minutes.
Be the first to ReplyTotally overpriced, tiny portions
Absurdly overpriced, ambience of a turn of the last century bordello. Food helpings miniscule, after being told they were going to be generous. They even tried to rip me off more by not deducting the £100 reservation fee from the bill. Cheap trick from a restaurant with no class at all.
Be the first to ReplyImpeccable
Every venue experiences occasional glitches. I want to congratulate the team and leadership, Mr. Alberto, for a spectacular recovery. Impeccable service, delicious meals and, as always, magical ambiance. Most def a place to visit, at least once, whilst in London. Well done, we will be back!
Be the first to ReplyPerfect, as always!
We have been here before for both Lunch and Dinner and today was, as normal, perfect. We had great food and great service. Each person was attentive and polite, dealt very well with one of us who is vegetarian. We were also there for a birthday, we don’t usually tell restaurants about birthdays but one member of staff heard us do a toast and must have told the other members of staff as we received a small cake which was a nice surprise. As I said, we have been here before and will continue coming back, thank you for a perfect lunch!

I went into Park Chinois New Years Eve party with great expectations. The experience lived up to it but the food was a bit of a near miss. The service was also spotty especially, I thought, for the VIP area. The place is a spectacle in itself and there was great energy and music. The performers for the evening were also very good and kept the atmosphere upbeat. Service was not as attentive as I would have expected. As I say though it was a bit spotty and towards the end of the evening one of our servers seemed to pay more attention. Food for the evening was just ok Haute Chinese. Drinks and wine list were good. They were impressive prior to the night with email communications including asking about dietary restrictions yet when we arrived the server was not aware.
Be the first to ReplyOverall really good
Went with family and friends for dinner. While the food was great and overall experience was good there’s room for improvement. Especially for the price you pay for.

This place was in my list to visit for some time and when I started looking into it more first I gone through the feedback people left and I was really upset that there were so many negative experiences. I read the description of the restaurant and then I set my mind that the venue is more show focused and good hospitality is not what we need expect much. I give 5 stars for the food. Absolutely amazing, delicious and bravo to the chef. Venue itself 5 stars. Beautiful, stunning. Show 3-4 stars. Love the idea they actually doing it but not wow. Not sure why I was not too much impressed. 1 star for the attitude towards their guests. This place is money making machine and fair enough but if guests are feeling it that it not professional run of the business and I know what I am talking about and I would like to backup waiting team because they are as good as the whole thing is. The whole experience was okey for us is just that we felt we were rushed out to leave the table and we were not accommodated somewhere else or at least encouraged to stay which upset us. I will recommend this place to my friends and colleagues but I also will give them to read this feedback too.
Be the first to ReplyManagement needs to address some issues..
Overall we enjoyed our evening and the food was mostly delicious apart from a couple of dishes which were just average. The most disappointing thing was the atmosphere amongst the staff.. we saw two incidents of staff arguing amongst themselves in full view of diners and none of them seem very happy in their work. Our sommelier was excellent and attentive but otherwise service was below par which is totally unacceptable for the price you are paying to eat here. Furthermore the charge of £28 per person for the entertainment is a rip off.. the dancers performed some below par routines and as soon as they finished walked off looking as miserable as sin. This is all very obvious and management need to seriously address this.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible Restaurant!
Tonight we went to Park Chinois ( havnt been here for ages) and had the worst experience ever! We sat at the corner table , and the curtains behind us were filthy with watermarks the other curtain looked like it’s not been washed for five years horrible dirty place even restaurants in Chinatown are Cleaner than this. The service was very average the waiters were wearing dirty shirts, not even ironed. We were charge for entertainment which was even worse than the food. The food was so average I would not recommend anyone going there you could order Chinese on Deliveroo and that would be better. Food - horrible Interior - Dirty / outdated Service - horrible Please clean your place, it’s filthy.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolute rip off don’t be fooled by the show illusion
The service was really really poor. We were one of the first tables of the night in. We had to ask for drinks menus. Every time we need a glass refill we had to ask for it to be topped up. I don’t mind if it was a certain type of restaurant but don’t market yourself as a top class venue, charge nearly £100 for the cheapest bottle of wine and not monitor the table. Plates were left for ages we had to ask for them to be cleared. We actually asked 3 times for the bill at the end of the meal we just seemed to be completely forgotten about. The staff were more interested in watching the entertainment than doing their job. I think the food was average, and for the price you’d expect top top quality service and I’ve hands down received better in a Costa coffee. Such a disappointment after saving for this for our Christmas night away
Be the first to ReplyGorgeous interior. Food way over priced and entertainment average
Gorgeous interior. Food way over priced and entertainment average. Food was ok. I mean it wasn’t bad at all but just wasn’t worth the hefty price tag. We were there for 2 hours and the “entertainment” we paid extra for was a singer who sang for about 20 mins.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
Loved the first visit . Very disappointed this time. We were sat right by the speakers . Absolutely no possibility to talk. Entertainment simply average. Service was slow and unenthusiastic. Meal for two was around £420 with no dessert. Had to ask for food to be cleared away and had to repeatedly ask for drinks. By dessert time we had lost interest in the place. Won’t be going back. It has nothing special to offer .
Be the first to ReplyComplete waste of money
The food was very mediocre & ridiculously expensive. The entertainment wasn’t great . A very costly & disappointing evening. We won’t be returning
Be the first to Replyrude waiter snatched the bill out of my hand!
I visited this restaurant last Saturday evening, we were seated on a table at the back of the stage, so when the entertainers came on they had their backs to us, or should I say bums to me! I decided not to ask to be reseated, so just decided to continue my evening sitting on the stage! During the evening we had to prompt our waiter or should I say waiters (we had three different waiters in total)!!! they forgot my daughters drink, she had to wait over 20 minutes! The entertainment is well below average, something you would expect to see at a cheap Butlins holiday camp! not a five star restaurant. I got the feeling that the acts were enjoying themselves more than the audience. We basically didn't get any service throughout the evening, our waiter was absolutely useless, he never smiled, he clearly didn't want to be there. When the bill came up they added £40.00 service charge which I refused to pay. To my dismay the waiter then snatched the bill from my hand and spoke to the manager who then came and sat with us where I explained just how rude our waiter had been. I was and still am shocked at how the waiter snatched the bill out of my hand! Absolutely shocking! The only thing going for this place is the food, compliments to the chef, the food is absolutely amazing! Such a shame the waiters and entertainment let it down!
Be the first to ReplyI’m warning you now to save your money and time!!
Honestly I don’t even know where to begin…. Never have I been to worse restaurant in Mayfair - or the world for that matter …went for dinner on a Saturday night. Had seen mixed reviews but thought could be a nice concept. We were seated and greeted by really lovely staff and all were very polite and helpful.. that’s the only good thing about it. The decor and environment reminded me of a trashy 90s club. We started with a wine - not a single one below £100 - this isn’t something I care about and if the wine is great I’ll pay even more but they just charge more for the sake of it. The wine we had would have been at home in a local garage for £4…. Food. We started with chicken - fried chicken covered in chillies… nothing offensive but certainly nothing great! We tried a mix of 4 dumplings to see what to order more of - each one was over cooked and sticky and bland so we moved onto mains. Pork was ok but nothing better than a bad local Chinese. We then got the sea urchin carbonara dish …honestly horrendous- the texture was like a pack of super noodles with a slimy texture- and the sea urchin was far from fresh…by this point we had enough and sent the slime noodles back. Now on to the “entertainment” - this was something we hoped would at least perk up the experience- 2 below average pub singers and “dancers” that wouldn’t be out of place in a sixth form school talent show … Honestly I’m astounded this place exists. The concept may have worked in 2003 but it’s just so below par of anything else around these days - feels like a dirty working men’s club . £300 for a wine and 4 dishes - £100 on entertainment- we booked another restaurant for dinner while we were still sat there…… The staff again were all lovely and I can only think the prices are so high to pay for them all. Food - worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten Entertainment - like been interrupted by your kids at dinner wanting to give a show of a dance routine they just made up with their cousins Environment - working men’s club Staff: great (please go to somewhere where you don’t have to be embarrassed of!)
Be the first to ReplySlow service, very overpriced
I have been to a lot of top end Mayfair restaurants and many of them are amazing. This place was a bit of a joke. The food was bang average (if not actually worse than eating in just a standard Chinese restaurant). Service was also very slow and actually poor. The price was ridiuclous too - go opposite to Novikov Asian and the food in 10 x better and half the price. The fact they then add on a charge for the Jazz singer too is a joke. I know the restaurant/bar model. You hire the live singers and bands to attract customers. To then charge customers to listen to them whilst eating is literally pathetic - touching on a scam. We were there for dinner, not a concert. I don't care if it's in any small print (in fact, I knew about the cover charge for music before dining so I didn't complain on the day about it), you still shouldn't be doing it though. Go elsewhere! This place is literally a low quality, high price trap
Be the first to ReplyCompletely gone downhill
This used to be one of my favourite restaurants, but it has now completely gone downhill and I would avoid at all costs! Overpriced for horrible tasteless food! Service was slow, £8 for half a glass of coke with ice and the food was tasteless and under cooked. The live band was way too loud Never again will I be returning!
Be the first to ReplyAll fur coat and no knickers.
This place looks amazing and aesthetically it is. We sat upstairs, there was a live jazz band which was pretty good. The service was friendly although they did take a while to clear our table. Over all the vibe was really good and we did have great time, however. The food is not great, it’s not bad either but it’s way over priced for what it is. You’re paying one maybe two Michelin star prices in here and the food is no where near that standard. I get there is live entertainment but you pay for that anyway on top of the food. If you go here with friends it’s good and the atmosphere is great but if you are looking for high end Chinese food this is not for you and I’d go to Hakkisan instead.
Be the first to ReplySuper dining experience
We were served by Aleixo- he was the cherry on the cake. The service. Well explained. Speed was excellent. The music was fantastic. Right volume. Not too loud where we could not speak. And the ambience was amazing. Thank you Aleixo for our memorable experience. !!!

I went Saturday brunch for my birthday w mum but it wasn’t how expected. A bit disappointed honestly. It was over priced as well for 3 shows and Chinatown meals. You can even eat better in China town for open buffet. Service was good anyway. Never again.
Be the first to ReplyHad much better Chinese takeaways than this place, service and staff were awful
Extremely disappointing, over £650 for 4 people, very average food that you have to eat in the dark , lip synching to tunes is not my idea of live entertainment , poor service, shouting at each other to converse because of extremely loud music and very expensive drinks that were served in glasses so small they were gone in 3 sips We left the savoy Hotel bar to go here I wish we'd never bothered Never again would I or my guests return and never would I recommend to anyone
Be the first to ReplyBirthday disappointment
Could have better food at a local chinese takeaway. You would expect exceptional food and service for the prices charged. We paid 775 for 5 people after insisting the service charge was removed. Would have been more, and another charge was for 12.50 a head entertainment which we were sat behind them stuck away in corner. They only played a couple of songs in a few minutes anyway. Coming to the service. We were rushed to order, the waiter quickly moved away and starting asking another table. There was a distinct lack of smiles or genuine appreciation for our custom. We have been to many restaurants in London central and will continue going, but will tick this off the list as don’t try again. Food bland, and not delivered or presented in a way you would expect from a high class restaurant Marino
