Didn't take long to get seated on a friday night for 2.
If i had to choose, I'd choose Baekjong over this place. The set menus are fairly similar but the marinated meats were lacking, felt like they were drenched in sugar and the meats were low quality. Beef tongue was decent and brisket was delicious though. They cook for you which is nice but overall my experience was lacking. Probably won't go back; there are many better options in ktown now a days.

i'm the kind of person who reads multiple food blogs to pick my selections carefully and goodness, I'm so, so impressed by Park's BBQ I wish I had an extra star to add. They specialize in galbi and they did not disappoint. I just haven't had beyond good galbi elsewhere that measures up to this place. We also got some other food (i think a fish dish that I saw recommended here a lot) but I don't recall. Anyway, left very full with a pile of leftovers to take home. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time to secure your spot. There's street parking nearby if you wish to avoid valet.
Be the first to ReplyWe've eaten at Park's BBQ two times now.
We are impressed not only by the quality of the food but also by the level of customer service. We'd like to specifically single out our server Isabel for bringing top-notch service to us, she was our server both times and didn't disappoint. She's very friendly and proactive, always continually checking our meat so that it's cooked to perfection. 감사합니다! There is valet parking, for $4. But we got our car back very fast.
Be the first to ReplyGreat marinaded meat as usual.
. love the service and the side dishes. Favorite is that also the veggie plate to cook up is good too. Always get the Korean cold noodles as well. Very consistent and very good.. usually I go around 3pm before the dinner crowd gets there.. or the lunch special is a really good deal too.. amazing for the price
Be the first to ReplyQuality so far at Park's has trumped all other K-town BBQ
Quality so far at Park's has trumped all other K-town BBQ spots. Every time you venture out to see what's better, you circle back to Park's and realize it's legit. Meat is excellent. You can taste it in comparison. Service is great. They very much take care of you here. Parking isn't expensive. This institution hasn't disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyI highly recommend this restaurant.
Service, meat quality and everything is perfect. Price is expensive though it's worth to go there.
Be the first to ReplyWe really enjoyed the food.
Fresh side dishes and sam. The Park's galbi was delicious and so was the steamed egg and kimchi soup. The menu selection was great. Staff was friendly and were really hustling, but they were too busy for the number of waitstaff they had compared to customers, making the service a bit slow and not 5-star. Also, I wouldn't describe the restaurant as upscale as some of the yelp reviews state, but definitely on the casual side with family vibes...and a lots and lots of crying babies and children. It's great for families as they are accommodating with high chairs and such, but a bit chaotic. Overall great food, decent service and just OK ambiance.
Be the first to ReplyI visited this restaurant 2 weeks ago, I had family
I visited this restaurant 2 weeks ago, I had family visiting out of Country and they wanted to go well known restaurant. Honestly I can say I will not come back. We were a party of 12 we arrived and checked in the host told us it would be 20-25 min wait tops, or there was a chance to be seated sooner. Okay no big deal we stood outside as we waited. 30 minutes pass by and I go see the host and ask if it was going to take longer if so if there was any possible way to let my 6year old inside with his father where it was not cold since we had to wait outside. The host said no with no hesitation and said we had to wait another hour due to being a table of 12. I asked the host why we were told differently at first, she couldn't give me an answer. Then she said that it might take longer. I asked for someone in charge to see if we could be seated sooner or if it was best to leave since it was cold outside waiting and the valet took our cars, and we were 2 hours away from home with two children. He had told me that they don't do big party's together which made no sense because that night there were a party of 15. ( I knew because the party asked me to take a picture) As we waited to get out cars back the host comes to me and said "oh your table is ready, should I just give it to Someone else" I said no we are eating. So we still ate since we were there. Waiters were friendly & funny. Sadly the food was not as we expected.
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience of Korea bbq.
. exceptional. Great service and mabey a 30 minute wait, but well worth it. I n my opinion, best and extended side dishes, you get what you pay for. Best value if 4 people going. Less than 25 per person but high quality meat, choice cut and amazing service , they don't let you cook.
Be the first to ReplyLoved it! First time there and service, food was amazing.
It's loud in there so having a conversation can be a bit roughy when being too close to people. However, it was good and I want to go back.
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant has the best galbi amongst any other Korean
This restaurant has the best galbi amongst any other Korean bbq restaurant in the So Cal area. Their banchan assortment is also good and there's a large variety. Their kimchi jjigae is also spicy and very savory. The restaurant is on a busy street on Vermont so it's a good thing that they offer valet parking. They also offer outdoor patio seating as well. While the restaurant decor is not bougie and is somewhat of a typical looking Ktown bbq, it's their food and the quality of the meat that makes this restaurant outstanding.

I've been wanting to come here for years! I can see why Park's is frequented by celebrities, it's so good.Definitely get a reservation. It's super busy, even with the outdoor addition. Valet also takes a while, so allot at least 10 minutes for that. It's 4$ cash or 5$ Venmo. My husband and I ordered the first combo and the seafood pancake. The combo came with five different meats and a bunch of side dishes. The meats were all divine, and I love that the staff cooks it for you so that we don't mess it up. I loved all the sides that it came with. The pickles really offset the heavy flavor of the meats. Trying all the sides made it for a really fun meal.We left full, happy and without too much of the meat sweats. You can't beat the quality of Parks!

Even though we only got a soup, it was definitely enough to fill us up. Delicious beef that is nice and tender, steaming broth, and even rice with other sides to compliment the dish are what made this meal fulfilling. Easy to get the check too, a waiter had an electronic device that made it quick and easy. It is loud once people start arriving but that is not a negative quirk. There is even a tv!

Great place for a la carte KBBQ, probably my favorite one in Koreatown. Solid place for a date night.
Be the first to ReplyMy Korean friends have brought me to all the amazing KBBQ's
My Korean friends have brought me to all the amazing KBBQ's in Ktown since the early 90's so I never understood what the extra hype was about for Parks. I finally dined there and know what I was missing. THE QUALITY of meats is unparalleled. The meats are literally melt-in-your-mouth type of amazing! I cannot stress enough how special this restaurant is. Now I know why famous chefs are pictured in the lobby after dining here. Park's has raised the bar so high!

We got the combo one for two, It was a perfect serving for two. I loved all assorted meat. Their side dishes are really delicious too, i honestly think it's more elevated than regular kbbq restaurants. $4 valet available. Didn't have to wait in line when i went on Sunday at around 5:30pm.

Easily my favorite Korean BBQ place in LA! I am very particular when I choose Korean BBQ place. My priority is quality of its meat(beef) and service. Park's BBQ has been serving the best prime beef ever since they opened! Seriously, you just cannot hide grade of beef. If its prime, it tastes prime right? I have experience with other places where they said it was prime beef but no way it was prime! However Park's BBQ has been consistent with their meat quality to be top prime. Additionally, their service is very efficient & fast. They know what they do! I also highly recommend their marinated shrimp BBQ as an appetizer. I'm not a shrimp lover but I always order their shrimps! Yummmmyyy!!! They are always super crowded so either avoid busy hours or make a reservation minimum 1 day prior!Love Love Love Park's BBQ!!!

If you're looking for a more high end Korean BBQ place, I could not recommend this place enough. I came here with a friend and we ordered one of the meat sets. They help you cook the meat here, so you don't actually have to do anything. The bonchon here is some of the best I have tried at any Korean restaurant, and there are also some unique dishes that I have never tried before. They also have rice paper for the meat, which is a huge plus for me personally. The meat pieces here are delicious and juicy, and the waiters are very kind to refill your bonchon and check on you frequently. The inside of this restaurant is nice and gives more high end vibes, but there's also an outside seating area for additional seating. There is valet parking for $4 here, so don't worry about finding parking in the small parking lot.

I made reservations for my friend's bday, but I didn't expect to have a nice dinner at a parking lot. I felt so bad for my friend who is not Korean and was excited to have nice experiences. What a shame, I won't go back there.
Be the first to ReplyAnother beautiful day for Korean bbq and this restaurant
Another beautiful day for Korean bbq and this restaurant came shining through! The food and service was top notch and did not disappoint. We loved the banchan and their friendly portion sizes and wide variety. We ordered the P1 combo, which consists of Ggot Sal, Parks Gal-Bi, Bulgogi, Beef Brisket, Boneless Beef Short Rib. The Gal-Bi and short rib were my personal favorites, and my wife loved the Gal-Bi and brisket. We have eaten at our fair share of Kbbq restaurants in Ktown, and I just think the quality of the meats surpassed all of them. It is a little more pricey than most Kbbq spots, but you're paying for fresh high-quality meats. That's the difference and that's why we'll be back!
Be the first to ReplyNot much to say.
Simply the best. Among all the Korean restaurants this stands out with their choice of meat and excellent service. Highest marks.
Be the first to ReplyBeen coming to this establishment for many years.
It's good. Their marinated beef is sweet but not too sweet. Quality of their meat is above adv. you must place 2 orders of meat at minimum. (Which you should. Otherwise, why even go to KBBQ)? Their gochujang chadol soup is spicy and the broth is thick. It's good. Pricy but worth the money. Service is just adv. Their side dishes are the BOMB! One of the best side dishes in LA.

Omg. I don't even know where to start, but there's a picture of BTS on the wall, so if this is good enough for them, it's gotta be good! We got the P2 combo so we could try a little bit of everything, plus tiger shrimp, steamed egg, and chop chae. Only thing I'd change is maybe get the P3 if you want prawns, you get only 4 instead of 8, but there's so much food it'll be fine.Online reservations! Thank goodness.+1Outdoor yakiniku dining +1They cook the food for you +1They keep changing out the grill +1The food is well seasoned +1Because of the outdoor dining, the parking lot is half the size so good luck with that. Valet $4. We went early so there was no line to get in but when we left, the parking lot was jammed and there were a ton of people waiting to get in, and they were using both floors inside (there's 2 stories!) plus the outside parking lot area which seated at least 50 (12 tables of 4-top or more). There's only 2 toilets in the ladies restroom so make sure you evacuate your insides ahead of time, in case you really gotta go and there's a huge line. When the bill comes you'll be shocked at how much everything added up, but you could do it again the next day. We almost did.

The best! The meat quality, the food, the service, everything a restaurant can be. LolI love this place!Even with the restaurant being super busy at all times the service is always amazing. Very unlike LA restaurants. Our family used to always go to Chosun Kalbi but honestly they food is good but nothing better than Parks. But the service there is horrible so we switched to Parks!Ty for being open and providing the best :)

This is my favorite Korean BBQ spot because they still have the rice paper wraps and their side dishes are very tasty. Casual dining and there's nothing fancy to note as far as the atmosphere/ambiance is concerned. All in all, other than their usual extra long wait times (during normal operations) this place will not disappoint when it comes to taste and quality.I recently had a chance to visit Parks2Go butcher shop next door (thanks to COVID19 stay at home fiasco) and I must give credit to their superior quality and their perfect meat marinade! I love that they give you the dips and lettuce wraps at no charge with your to go orders too.
