Absolutely amazing!
This was my first time ever eating here and it was incredible! I ordered the 4 oz lobster tail, grilled and it was the best Iโve ever had. Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese are amazing too! Only disappointment was that I havenโt eaten here soon! Looking forward to going back.

I had made reservations for an early Christmas present for my wife and myself. We were seated at the front of the restaurant in a private room. It was quiet compared to the main dining room. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer. They were hot and delicious. My wife ordered the filet and lobster tail and I had the Oscar filet. Both steaks were tender and delicious. We shared the au gratin potatoes. They were nice and creamy. We had the chocolate crunch tower for dessert. The chocolate was creamy with the toffee adding a nice crunch. Perryโs never disappoints
Be the first to ReplyMissed the Mark
This place missed the mark on every aspect. Hubby & I sat at the bar. Service was just terrible, they all looked miserable, not friendly at all.. bar top was not clean. Drinks were watery, beer was not cold. We ordered Oysters on the half shell, they were so dirty to the point when we picked them up to eat them, our fingers were black, and the muscle wasn't cut from the shell. full of dirt. I wanted to leave after that, hubby talked me into staying. I ordered the Rib eye. It came out cold, AND overcooked and flavorless. Hubby's Filet was no better. The loaded mashed potatoes were cold and clumpy, vegetables were hard. We do not frequent Steak houses and I expected a high end meal. I was terribly disappointed from start to finish. When you screw up a bourbon & coke and serve oysters like that, it's just not right.
Be the first to ReplyFine Dining??
We went to have dinner with another couple. They had never been to Perryโs. We made our reservation which required a credit card. Weโve never been asked to do that. Then we made our request for a QUIET table and not in the main room, because the main room was so tight for seating. Our table was in the center of the room off the main area. I would consider this table not quiet. They did honor the room but missed quiet, Our experience at Perryโs has been that the tables are extremely close together, itโs not comfortable to anyone. Iโm paying for a fine dining experience but I can be involved in a conversation next to me. Wait staff is squeezing through trying not to bump someone or spill something on the customer. This is a very uncomfortable situation. People are watching and waiting for something to happen when they should be focused on the evening. The food is great but dining experience is very poor. I have been to this location at least 4 times and have had the same experience every time. Normally I do not write reviews but felt that since my experience has been the same each time, I needed to write this review
Be the first to ReplyIt's a Great Place to Eat Dinner!
What a great place to have dinner! A coworker and I went to Perry's in Grapevine for dinner the week of 10/9/23. It wasn't cheap but it was so worth it! We started with 3 skewer option of their famous pork chop bites and we definitely could see why they were famous. We ordered a New York strip steak and a filet mignon. They were each cooked as we asked and to perfection. Seasoning was pleasant not overpowering and the bites almost melted in your mouth. The sides were grilled asparagus and the au gratin potatoes. Both were excellent and are family style so we were able to share. For dessert we ordered a chocolate crunch tower and bananas foster. Both are big enough to share and were excellent. Although they don't light your bananas foster up table side it was still worth ordering. The service was fantastic. Never pushy but always there when you needed them. Cocktails were very good and were not light. Overall we were very happy we chose to eat at Perry's while in town and will definitely go back when work sends us back to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Let me start my review by saying that overall this was a very good experience. For an upscale steakhouse, I thought the prices were very reasonable, but if you are used to applebee's or chili's expect to pay quite a bit more. Remember, you get what you pay for. Our food was very good and the steaks were excellent! My lobster was a bit undercooked which was a disappointment. The sides are huge. The service was 5 star. Thanks, Caitlin!!! I am a bit of a steakhouse snob and ambience is sooo important for a steakhouse. I liked the interior of this place. It was very airy, open, modern and very clean. However, the noise was excessive and disappointing, more of a pancake house level! You're not going to get that quiet, intimate feel here. Everything came out so fast that we felt a bit rushed, but we were early diners. I'd bet the later crowd doesn't experience this. Nothing will deter me from returning or recommending this place. We spent four hundred dollars (our anniversary!!๐คท โ๏ธ...& free dessert!!) for the two of us, but more than half of that was alcohol and tip. Thank you, Perry's... and ๐คซ shhhhhh!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Place To Celebrate Birthdays Or Anything Else, And Superior Steaks!
This particular evening at Perry's Steakhouse was determined to be a special night, since I was celebrating my brother's birthday. And once my mom, my brother, and I arrived, it become simply that. The appetizer I got to experience was one of the finest I've ever tasted and seen, and that was the BBQ, bacon-wrapped shrimp on a cedar plank. Wonderful taste, and I may have come back alone just to got that entire order once again. Loved the blending of flavors. My main course consisted of a 10-ounce filet, and it was seared and prepared to perfection. I got loaded mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, and they were all fantastic together. There was also some good sourdough bread and magniferous whipped butter that was great for spreading. More than anything, the steak still won the day. Along with wine and tea to wash everything down, I got the most decadent dessert I've ever had: The Rocky Road bread pudding which had the powerful combination of caramel, butterscotch, chocolate chips, and marshmallow, and it all meshed together nicely with a delicious cup of coffee. Service throughout was superior, no matter who came to my table, but the one lady we had the entire time (and I forgot her name) was just marvelous and handled our birthday experience and helped make it memorable. Will I be back? Absolutely, and I might have to make several visits for several different things. It's not cheap, so be prepared to shell out a lot. The steaks are superior here, so that's worth it!
Be the first to ReplyGreatest Steakhouse Experience
Well, where to begin.... this was the best steakhouse experience my wife and I have had to date, and we've been to a few. The service was fantastic, thank you Tre! They have amazing food at Perry's. My wife had the Chicken Oscar (chicken with lump crab meat on top) and I did their famous pork chop. Yall whe I say that's the best pork chop I have ever eaten.... you get three cuts from the pork carved at the table. Yes, I had to include pictures... lol Dessert, we did the orange cream cicle type cheese cake and this was excellent as well. Do go with making reservations, even during the week....if you'll be there on a Friday, safe the pork chop dinner for Friday $17 bucks vs. $49 any other time outside of Friday. They do have valet parking if you are looking for such a service... I could see using it if you are there later in the dinner service.
Be the first to ReplyPork Chop Special
Excellent all around. We had reservations and we were seated right on time. It was Friday and the lunch pork chop was the special. The food came out quickly and it was DELICIOUS. The service and atmosphere were 5 star all the way around. Must come back and try the steak.
Be the first to ReplyBest 5 star in southlake
If you are wondering why it is hard to get a seat the bar or a table on short notice at Perry's, the reason is obvious to my wife and I. People have figured out this is the best place in Southlake. Great staff, food, atmosphere, and the price is not too far over the top. They have it figured out for sure, It is now our first option when we think about where to go to eat on the weekend. A shout out to Cameron the manager, as well as Anna, Bonnie, Becca, and Micha the bar tenders! I like all the Perry's locations but this one seems to have something special going on.
Be the first to ReplyMessed up reservations
I made reservations for 6 several days in advance. When I received the confirmation email, I noticed that it said "outdoors"....I called to ask for an explanation and the manager, Abel, took my call. He said that when I made my reservations on-line, there were no tables available inside so they moved us outside....even though the temperature that night was 37 degrees! So, Abel changed my reservations to the following weekend....I told him we had to have inside reservations because my friends are elderly and, also, the projected forecast for that new night was in the 30's again. Abel assured me that I had a table for 6 in the dining room. The afternoon before the day of my reservations, I received a phone call saying that our reservation was for outdoors! I called and spoke to Abel and he said he remembered making my reservation and couldn't explain what happened.....and, that there was nothing he could do because they were all booked up! Then he gave the phone to a lady who offered us a table in the bar! I declined and demanded the table in the dining room that Abel had said he reserved for us. They then said to come on to the restaurant at our reserved time and they would try to find us a table as soon as possible.....I had promised my friends this dinner at Perry's....otherwise I wouldn't set foot in that place....I certainly won't ever go there again...and I will share this experience with all of our friends. I will follow up this review with information as to how long we had to wait for a table....
Be the first to ReplyWorst Steak and Service ever
I was very disappointed and embarrassed by my guest's experience at your restaurant. I was raving to my guests about how your restaurant had the best steak in town and how it was my favorite place to eat.. such a shame that that's not the experience we got. It's unacceptable for you to serve a charred, black, hard as a rock ribeye to a customer just because she sent it back for being undercooked. Initial order was for a medium well steak but you served a rare steak instead, and when you offered to fix the problem you brought back the same steak charred to a crisp and proceeded to serve it to my guest. The server said that it had "just come out of the broiler".. This is utterly ridiculous and inexcusable! I'm very disappointed with this kind of service at such a restaurant. You ruined our evening. Shame on you!
Be the first to ReplyPork Chop was amazing!
Excellent steak but the pork chop was the winner. Best pork chop we have ever eaten. Plus it is huge! Enjoyed everything about Perryโs except the noise. It was so loud it was difficult to hear people across the table. Definitely not a place for an intimate dinner despite the great food because of this. Service was also excellent as well and the prices were line for a high end steakhouse.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing experience
My husband and I went to lunch there for our 50th anniversary. My husbandโs pork chop was excellent . However the steak and salmon were both disappointing. When I cut into the steak it was undercooked and appeared to be chewy not tender. They offered a redo or another entree so I ordered the salmon medium. It came partially uncooked. They took it back and fully cooked. However, it was rather tasteless. This is the first restaurant I have been to that did not prepare salmon well. Pear salad was unimpressive as well with a small amount of shredded pear. Waitstaff was good and the manager was responsive. However, overall, it was a disappointing choice for our anniversary and not worth the money.

Very busy. Nice and attentive staff. Steak undercooked and not served on sizzling plate. Augratin potatoes excellent. French onion soup excellent. Filets only cooked medium rare or rarer per server.

We had not been to Perry's since carry out days with Covid. Last night, July 15,22 we joined another couple for a discounted "senior" meal from a flier we got in the mail. Our server, Daniel was fantastic. Great service and a great meal. We will be back. You can never beat a Perry's pork chop.
Be the first to ReplyPerry's. Disappointing value.
We were visiting from our home state. Trip Advisor gave Perry's a high rating. We made a reservation through Open Table. The only options were seating in the bar area or outside. Bar area seating was offered as high tops which we were ok with and requested on our reservation. We arrived early and went to the bar for drinks and apps. When our reservation time arrived we were seated at a table for 2 in back of the hostess station. It's an area of the restaurant with minimal ambiance. No table clothes. Nothing pretty on the table. No effort at presentation. May as well have been at Cheddars or Longhorn. We ordered salmon and a 10 oz filet. The $39 salmon was about 8 or 9 ounces and served alone on a small square plate. The $10 side of plain broccoli came in a separate small bowl. The baked potato was "delayed". My filet mignon was served by itself on a small plate, sprinkled with salty spices and maybe (?) blue cheese. Good piece of meat made salty for no good reason and then charred. What am I getting at. For the sum of $178 (not including the bar bill which was an additional $72), I had a meal and experience that was worth $100 at a decent chain like Texas Roadhouse or Longhorns. Looking for value? Look elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious and Expensive
Thursday night dinner. Great menu selection. Very expensive. Excellent presentation. Meal was delicious. Highly recommend the Symphony Kabob, mushrooms and Cauliflower au gratin. Perfect portions for me but no leftovers and so some may leave hungry. Dessert trio was delicious, small - just a bite of each. The chocolate crunch was my favorite! Service was not great. Some young guys that need a little more experience/ training. Brought check without asking if we wanted dessert then dessert and our check took a REALLY long time. Never refilled waters. Want to try some other menu items but may try early evening.

Loved the evening. We were greeted promptly by our waiter & he was helpful with suggestions. The pork chop was my order & steak for another family member. My wife loved the salmon. It is great anytime but especially for special occasions. A bit on the pricey side.
