Pierluigi Roma Reviews
Bread that is charged for....ridiculous....
Average based on the fact that this property charges for the basics of a bread basket, poor from a restaurant of this level, or what it once was probably better put. The best part is they do not even ask if you wish to have a basket of bread, they j
Rude waiter
I had such high hope for this restaurant! I love seafood and while the oysters were delicious, the beef carpaccio was sweet and off putting. The waiter was completely rude and extremely pushy claiming I couldn’t eat that much. I asked for no flour

Last day vacation Rome
Always when I go to Rome. As Pierluigi a must visit once during a Rome stay. Exceptional in every aspect from restaurant, service & hospitality. The food is phenomenal. Definitely should visit.
Fantastic quality seafood restaurant in Rome with amazing atmosphere!
The location, ambience, food and service couldn’t have been better. The warm evening made dining outside a treat, and the busy tables created a great atmosphere and buzz. Definitely worth a visit for fantastic seafood when in Rome!
Best meal we had in Rome! Beautifully fresh seafood.
Every dish was eye opening delicious. Attentive thoughtful service. A splurge for sure, but worth it. We sat indoors (too hot outside) for lunch service. When we left our server gave us fans as souvenirs which were so helpful for the hot weather that
Daughter ordered the lobster pasta.
It's 20 euros for 100 grams (3.5 ounces). Also ordered the chateaubriand for 2 people for 200 euros and a bottle of French red for 200, 2 starters, 6 cocktails and another entree. The bill came and the pasta was 80 euros (4x the listed price).
A friend recommended us to try out this place.
We were seated outside because we had a reservation. If you don't like the smell of cigarette, I recommended to get an indoor table. A lot of people smoke outside. The ambience is nice. The weather was nice for outdoor seating. Service is great.
Superlative seafood restaurant experience.
I came back twice (and fingers crossed, one more time before I leave) for the red prawn carpaccio and calamari ribbons in pesto. (The spaghetti with clams was just as good as the best restaurants at home, so I'd try something different.) What
Not every restaurant is great that is OK.
But to run a scam on top of serving bad food is the worst. This place says on the menu that they charged €16 for an item when the bill comes they're charging you four times that. Worst Resturant experience in a while. Stay away from this place
I liked the atmosphere, it's a nice and a fancy restaurant
I liked the atmosphere, it's a nice and a fancy restaurant but it's pricey just know that u won't leave without paying 100€. The food was good especially the risotto and the wild cut up octopus! The service was nice we felt welcomed
Classy Place for Classy Folks!!
Absolutely fantastic food and service. A truly memorable dinner in a unique old Roman environment. Great for an upscale family dinner!
The place excellent and the service good
I had spaghetti con vongole yesterday and the vongole were two and very small! What a shame!!! The food of my husband was good! I expected so much more!
Arrogant staff. Who needs it?
Very arrogant staff so although the food was good (it should be for €185 for two people fur two courses - and this was after I told them to take the service off at the time I asked for the bill) We asked for the wine list several times and were j
Don’t bother
Arrogant- don’t bother. This place used to be great 8 years ago but no longer. Unfortunately like much of Rome this is also no longer a place to go. It’s like an ancient ruin- ps the bathrooms are also very dirty. Not a good calling card!
Bad service and expensive
We were recommended this place by a Roman friend, but it did not live up to expectations in any way! Bad service and very expensive. The food was ok, but not more than that.
Very poor value for money.
A cuisine not at all up to the prices charged: the worst pasta of our entire stay in Rome. The presentation and setting do not match the contents of the plates.
A must in Rome.
We loved this place. Had been recommended by Roman friends, and is famous. It's understated chic, service was warm and friendly, the waiters brought me a birthday cake and they all sang Happy Birthday in Italian to me. A must.
Fish Fish Fish!
Server and Somme both very dynamic Like other places in Italy I never felt upsold in fact there was a tendency to suggest wine or menu item less expensive or to steer away from an item they didn’t think was that great. We had delicious langoustines
Not great
Unfortunately this was not the experience we had expected. Made to feel uncomfortable, far from welcoming! Food was ok, nothing to shout about. Very expensive and disappointing lunch.
Exceptional
I don't think we can add anything else to the history of this name. But we can certainly confirm that everything that is said around is true…the BEST restaurant in Rome!! Good, polite, good, friendly, and excellent food, from starters to desserts,
Great variety of fish in a small square in the center of Rome
Well-frequented restaurant in a small square near Piazza Farnese. I recommend the Catalan prawns, the fried cappelletti, the octopus soppressata, the lobster packets, the vermicelli with clams and the fregola with razor clams and lemon. The cellar is
Total disappointment
Whole scene. Banal, sloppy dishes, service like a tourist restaurant, prices like a starred restaurant. You only pay for the position.
Underwhelming Experience at Pierluigi
Upon arrival at Pierluigi, our anticipation was met with an immediate setback as our pre-booked reserved table was not ready. The 20-minute delay in seating, while somewhat forgivable in a bustling eatery, set a precedent for the evening's service an
Excellent restaurant worthy of its reputation, very nice, educated clientele, impeccable service, incredible food
Very good address, very chic, elegant, the varied menu, a special mention for the waiter Umberto, an emblematic figure of this restaurant who gave us good advice, the sunny terrace, the impeccable service, the perfect food, we make you what you want,
Best meal in Rome
My husband and I ate at Pierluigi on our last night in Rome and it did not disappoint. We started with pasta with langostinos in the most fabulous sauce. It was truly spectacular. Then we both had Sole meunière, which was absolutely out of this wor
Overpriced and arrogant
We celebrated our son's (14) birthday and had already asked for streamers as decoration. Unfortunately, there was nothing like that to be seen. The place setting was fried pasta sheets or something similar with some kind of spread - it was not good.
Disappointed
Absolutely disgraceful service, food and management!!! €450 for 3 starters and 3 mains. Mine sent back Don’t spend your hard earned cash!!! Disappointed
Stylish restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food
I was a little skeptical about this place based on some of the reviews and decided to go anyway. It did not disappoint! My party had the Sakura steak dinner for two which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. It comes with a bearnaise sauce and a parsl
Take advantage of Americans.
I heard many recommendations for this place, and was very disappointed in the end. The ambience is fancy, maybe a little stuffy, and I went in expecting to pay a lot for a good meal. When I asked about which pasta was better, the waiter talked us i

A very comfortable fish establishment
This is a restaurant with a menu heavily slanted to shellfish. We ate tuna and the dish was excellent, service was prompt . Personally i would have preferred a larger selection of regular fish but my meal was good and i have no complaints. Would i com
Food was overly priced but decent.
They push you to order by the pound and off menu. At the end of the dinner, they asked if we want to pay tip in cash or card, which seemed rude. Touristy restaurant.
We happened upon this exquisite place by chance.
This is fine dining. The food, service and atmosphere is some of the best in Rome.
Very good food attentive service and nice ambiance
Very good food attentive service and nice ambiance absolutely amazing experience. Extensive variety of wine's over all very nice restaurant.

Tourist trap, avoid.
Two of us shared five courses. Some were alright others were bad. Charged 10 euro per course to split. No up-charge listed on menu or mentioned by waiter. Served bread but we did not have any still charged 10 euro. 60 euro above expected price for

I very very rarely leave a review but I have been in Europe for 8 plus weeks and I have to admit this was the first restaurant that I had bad service at. Might of been the fact that I was solo but still this was the first in probably 100 plus restaur
Connect with users posting reservations for Pierluigi Roma
AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with Pierluigi Roma. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Pierluigi Roma at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Pierluigi Roma page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Pierluigi Roma to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Pierluigi Roma!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
