Ping Pang Pong reasonable Chinese Food in Vegas. Good for family gathering.
The food is good Chinese. They serve quick but a little hectic but we all enjoyed. Not expensive. A real good place for big Chinese family dinner style gathering.
Be the first to ReplyGood food in a random spot
Wanted some good Chinese food, found this place online. We visited based on all of the good reviews they have received. This restaurant is in a totally random older casino. Plenty of free parking. Kinda sad scene when you enter, you need to walk through the slot machine area to enter the restaurant. If smoking is a problem, you are best to avoid. The food was good and arrived quickly. We had a great meal, attentive service and would consider returning.

PAY CASH!! If you pay w the credit card, watch your statement. My bill was $57 + tips. Total $70. My credit card charged $101. Someone in the restaurant manually edited the pending charge. BE AWARE! I'll report to my credit card company 😠 PAY CASH!!
Be the first to ReplyGood Food, But ....
First, the food here is good. I would give it somewhere between a 4 and 4.5. The problem is two-fold. First, it is located right in the middle of the casino and no door/walls closing it off. So it smells like cigarette smoke (there were only a couple of people in the casino when we went - I don't think any of them were smoking at the time - and it still wreaked). Second was service. They wouldn't accommodate to move us back in the restaurant to try and get away from the cigarette smell; further, they didn't check on the table very often, and we had to keep flagging them down

My wife and I dined here for dinner. We shared everything. We had the Egg foo young (not on the menu and huge), Mu shoo pork (not on the menu and very tasty) and the Mongolian Beef. The Mongolian Beef was a very nice piece of beef, but the cook should cut it into thinner slices, so it is more tender. It is a shame to mess up a piece of beef making it tough to eat. Very good service on this visit. I added many photos and will return again soon.

After all the hype over the past few years, and hearing about the long lines, we walked right in and got a table and the experience was below my expectations. Granted, it was just based on one dish and I would go back to try other things if I'm at the Gold Coast. Went for lunch and it was not crowded. My friend and I split a fried rice dish (portion was plenty large enough) and we both agreed we needed to add soy sauce to it to give it any flavor (surprisingly it was not on the table so we had to ask and wait for it). The service was okay but I would not make a special trip to eat here.

My wife and I dined here for dinner with no reservation. We showed up at 9pm and were seated within 10-minutes. We had hot tea and white rice. We shared the Mu Shu Pork (Yummy), Egg Fu Young and the Mongolian Beef. The service was excellent on this visit and I will return again soon.
Be the first to ReplyInteresting Dim Sum experience
The food is very good in all. We went for lunch, which was primarily Dim Sum, though you could order off the regular menu too. The place was totally full very noisy and a bit overwhelming for nonAsian novices. The carts full of Dim Sum came by at rapid speed and most cart servers did not speak English, but expected you to make immediate choices (there was a dim sum menu, but no time to look, or opportunity to ask questions.) We should have asked for a regular waiter immediately, and life would have been much easier. We ended up with some random dim sum items and ordered off regular menu also. Although we ended up full and mostly satisfied, it was a chaotic experience, and not totally pleasant. One could tell this was a real treat for Asian customers - and seemed like "Sunday friends and family social gatherings", though it was Wed. in a casino. Dinner off a regular menu might be easier for visitors, not aware of all the ins and outs of Dim Sum ordering.
Be the first to ReplyUnimpressive, bland expensive food
Unimpressed, we are unsure what other peoples expectations are when we read the great reviews!!! For us, this was expensive and bland chinease food. Went for dinner, having visited many times before, but on this occassion was not impressed at all. Ordered vegetable spring rolls- just pastry with hardly any veg or anyting in them. No taste at all. Poor! Ordered War Wonton Soup, very little substance to this either- tasteless broth, no flavour, like dish water, low on meat- 2 slithers of chicken, 1 shrimp, 6 wontons (which were nice). Overall poor value. Ordered Kung Pow chicken. Decent portion, but lacking in juice and not very spicy. Plus a boiled rice. (Hard to get wrong!!!! We don't drink, so just water and bill was $50!! (Soup and one main meal!!!! Come on!!! That's crazy!) Also, the service wasnt good either, asked for all our food to come together as we were with another couple, one meal came out after we had finished all the others! There's so many better options in Las Vegas for chinease food and what was in our view a great tasty, good value restaurant in the past is now unimpressive and offers expensive middle of the road food. We won't return.

Located in the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. My wife and I dined here for dinner and shared everything. We had the Egg Fu Young (not on the menu), Mu Shuu Pork (not on the menu) and a beef dish. We also had a side of white rice and tea. The food and service were excellent. I added many photos and will return again very soon.
Be the first to ReplyBest Chinese food ever!
Hot and sour soup and chicken fried rice is the best I’ve ever had. We look forward to eating here every visit to Vegas.

Located in the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino off the Las Vegas Strip. My wife and I dined here for dinner. We shared everything, including the Wor Wanton Soup (very good), Mu Shu Pork (not on the menu, but yummy) and Chicken Egg Foo Young (not on menu, good, over cooked chicken). I added many photos of our visit. Very good service.

Be the first to ReplyAwful Service
My family and I ate at this restaurant on December 26,2022. After we were seated and served our food the waitress never returned to ask is we needed anything. We has to go to the checkout counter and ask for a to go box. For the price the food is “ok” but the service is awful.
Be the first to ReplySooooo...Darn.....Good!
Even if you are not stay at the Gold Coast hotel make sure you drop on over and visit Ping Pang Pong. Delicious food and good service. Worth every single penny.
Be the first to ReplyDefinitely Lived Up To the Hype and More!
This restaurant is located inside the Gold Coast Casino right next to the Rio and across the street from The Palms. I had dim sum here two mornings in a row. Both days I arrived fifteen minutes before their 10 AM open and there was already a line. Not to worry, there are plenty of seats at this restaurant. Once seated, the parade of dim sum carts started rolling by. The variety was amazing. On my two trips, I tried the Ha Gow, Sui Mai, Chicken Feet, Steamed Ribs, Shrimp wrap in Rice Noodles, Cocktail Bao, Fried Shrimp Balls, and Thousand Year Egg Congee. The Sui Mai were the best item. The Cocktail Bao was warm and soft. The Congee was very good. The Shrimp wrap in Rice Noodles were delicious and there was four pieces with two regular sized shrimp in each. So a total of eight shrimp. Very generous portion size as most Chinese dim sum restaurants only offer three pieces with six shrimp. Ping Pang Pong is a touch pricier than other dim sum restaurants in the area but it is well worth it. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I will definitely eat here again next time I am in Las Vegas. This place lives up to the hype as one of the best dim sum restaurants in Las Vegas.

My wife and I dined here for dinner. We had no reservations and were seated immediately. We shared everything including white rice and hot tea. We started with the Wor Won Ton Soup. Yummy. Mu Shuu Pork (not on menu). Very good. Beef dish. The beef was tough. Cut it thinner. The staff were very friendly and the service was great.
Be the first to ReplyGeat Sunday Dinners Here!
If you want a decent and tasty Chinese restaurant for a Sunday dinner, look no further! Ping Pang Pong has a variety of dishes for every taste. Dim Sum here is excellent. Prepare to wait for a table. They get crowded.
Be the first to Reply~~~ Still the best Dim Sum in Vegas ~~~
We finished all our meeting early , I like to take the offices staff for lunch , surprised me they all want to go to the Ping Pang Pong for lunch ! It is one of the best quality Cantonese Dim Sum in Vegas , also the Asian locals flavour place , know as " Chinese Kitchen " is located inside the Gold Coast Casino , honestly I love these restaurant too , every time in Vegas , I have to visit here , not a fancy extravaganza restaurant , but very mordant , airy , spacious place , walk in only , they open 10 am to 3pm for Dim Sum , open very late at night , the line up some time is over 20 mins or more , lucky I am a Boyd reward V.I.P. , no waiting at all , 9 of us , hostess so nice got us a nice round tablet away the main crowd , very friendly , not pricy , they have the Dim Sum cars go around the restaurant , so you just pick your flavour dish from the car , very variety luxury Dim Sum , good quality and tasty , steaming hot , not too much MSG also they have very good Lunch menu to choose from , service is fast and no problem with English , our teapot never empty , it seems every one having a great lunch together ! so if you visit Vegas , keep this Dim Sum restaurant in mind ! truly you will like it !

We got lucky when bartender stephanie at the Nomad Library recommended this place to us. Wow it really lived up to our expectations. The food was so good, service was quick and price was beyond fair for massive portions. Highly reccomend the orange chicken, chicken fried rice, Beijing beef and jellyfish. Talk about an amazing late night eats spot.
Be the first to ReplySooooo good
Everything was amazing. We had the house crispy noodles - outstanding! Night market fried rice was excellent. All dishes lots of flavour, hot and fresh prepared.
Be the first to ReplyDid not live up to expectations
This restaurant was highly recommended by several people in the author community. This did not live up to expectations. The fried rice was little more than butter chicken rice. The Dim Sum bread was tasty but the filling was not and took away from the dish. The BBQ ribs was spoiled meat. The sweat and sour chicken was edible but not by much. The potstickers were made more like empanadas. The picture is what we left because it was good.

Very nice food with a good variety. The portion sizes were large and the service good. If you want to go somewhere a bit off the strip for more authentic Chinese food this would be a good choice.
Be the first to ReplyBetter than the average Chinese Restaurant!
We were here for a mid-afternoon meal, and looked at both the lunch and dinner menus. We ordered 4 different dishes, and all were very good. Service was friendly and efficient.
