Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar Washington Reviews from The Last Year
A great Peruvian place.
Ceviche is always the best choice. Fish is great. What's not to like.
Excellent food and recommendations from the staff! The
Excellent food and recommendations from the staff! The ceviche was incredible and the staff was knowledgeable!!
amazing service !! great atmosphere and even better food.
I will be back for future events.
Great place for brunch! They have a 3 course meal for $33
Great place for brunch! They have a 3 course meal for $33 which is more than enough food but also not overwhelming depending on what you get. The tostada portion and really bit but I think the standout is the empanadas. The crepes were great and surprisingly loved the simplicity of the chicken fried rice as well. The surpriso is veryyyy sweet as a warning and the brownie was a good balance of butter chocolate and sweet ice cream. Not everyone has to do the bottomless brunch so definitely a great option to try the pisco flight!
I had been wanting to try Pisco y Nazca for some time and
I had been wanting to try Pisco y Nazca for some time and finally got there for dinner with three friends. Up front, it was FANTASTIC- from the ambiance to the food and service. Our table decided to share everything, so we ordered several dishes: 3 apps, 4 ceviches, two entrees and 4 desserts. We thought that the plates would be smaller, since ceviche is often served in a chilled martini-type glass. Well, we were happily wrong. The servings, from start to finish, were very generous and we were all stuffed at the end. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the dishes that stood out from each course were: grilled octopus, ceviche mixto, lamb shank and the flan. Oh and the Nazca sour is a kick-ass drink. One among us is not a bourbon drinker, but he ordered two of the Nazca sours! Just go to Pisco y Nazca and enjoy every bite!
Absolutely delicious.
Popped in for a late lunch as they were one of the few places around DuPont open for a late lunch and were blown away. The Ceviche and Octopus were some of the best we have had. Both portions were generous, filling, and sooo good! My boyfriend and I cannot wait to try more dishes!
Went for lunch with my family on Saturday June 8 at 2:00 pm
Went for lunch with my family on Saturday June 8 at 2:00 pm and ordered a couple of seafood entrees besides other items. Both the seafood entrees had mussels that were smelly and not fresh at all. We could not, and did not, eat them although the shrimp and fish in the entrees were edible. We did not return the items as we had to be somewhere after lunch. I was disappointed in the quality of the items and the server's inability to get us fresh mussels to replace that that were smelly, mushy and disintegrated.
Excellent food.
I really liked the Chef's Signature Ceviche. It wasn't that pretty, but it tasted great! I definitely want to come back and try some more dishes.
The quality of the food is really good.
I wish they have more options of chickens and beef beside of seafood. I went for happy hour and the service is wonderful and friendly. I enjoyed their drinks!
Everything was great with the exception of the pancakes
Everything was great with the exception of the pancakes that had the quality of diner food. Very dense and heavy.
Excelent!
Great restaurant in downtown. The quality of the food is amazing. There are tables indoor and outdoor. Increadible service. I do recomend.
Creative and authentic Peruvian cuisine with a fun atmosphere
It's a very hopping place, with a lively bar near the entrance. The food is excellent as are the pisco sours. Excellent ceviche and many other dishes similar to those I had in Lima years ago. the roasted giant corn kernels that arrive when you are seated are to die for (make sure to ask for some if they don't arrive right away.) Like so many restaurants these days, it's very noisy, so avoid during prime time if you want to have a conversation.
Exceeded all expectations!
I have been trying to reserve a table here for weeks. It was well worth the wait. The food was spectacular - taste and presentation! The service was friendly and attentive (Shot out to Eduardo!). While the restaurant was packed, the noise level wasn't bad at all. We could easily have a conversation. I can't wait to go back, looking forward to trying everything on the menu.
Best we have had outside of Lima!
We enjoy good ceviche, causas, and other types of Peruvian food. Their pulpo is done to perfection both of the times we had it.This place is the real deal. Their pisco sours and chichi morades are also top notch. Service is uniformly excellent.
A Culinary Tale: Bittersweet Echoes
In the heart of March’s tender grasp, We ventured forth, my love and I, To a haven where flavors danced, And secrets whispered in fragrant air. The Ceviche Sampler graced our table, A symphony of ocean’s bounty, Tantalizing my seasoned palate, Yet leaving my wife’s taste buds untouched. Empanadas followed, golden crescents, Their dough cradling savory mysteries, My wife’s choice, met with a nod of approval, While I, drawn by deeper currents, chose differently. PESCADO A LO MACHO, a name that resonates, A melody of spice and sea, I savored each morsel, eyes closed, As my wife’s laughter wove around me. Service, a gentle breeze, guided our voyage, The staff, attentive as moonlight on waves, Explaining dishes with reverence, Their care a soothing balm for hungry souls. But fate, capricious and unseen, Lurked in the shadows of our feast, For as stars blinked awake beyond the window, My wife’s world twisted, unraveled. Diarrhea, a tempest uninvited, And vomiting, a storm of distress, She suffered, her body betrayed, While I, untouched, pondered the enigma. Was it the Ceviche’s citrus kiss, Or the Empanadas’ quiet embrace, That led her down this treacherous path? I cannot say, for I remained unscathed. And so, we stand at life’s crossroads, Our hearts torn between memory and caution, The restaurant’s allure now veiled, Its taste forever entwined with uncertainty. We may never return, my love and I, Yet the echo of flavors lingers, A bittersweet refrain, etched in time, For I, too, once reveled in its embrace.
Please visit and enjoy!
Ok I love this place. I love it so much I ate here twice in one week. Happy hour is fantastic. The old fashions are super yummy but the best is the ahi tune. Of course so many other dishes were fabulous! And I tasted many.
Fantastic dining experience
When you eat well and the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is great and you have a fantastic evening, you need to write a review. We were four adults and three kids, walked in without a reservation and were served and treated perfectly. Thanks again, team! Great work! Superb food!
Spectacular
My partner and I were craving Peruvian food, so we set out to find a place with good reviews to visit, enjoy delicious food and have some cocktails. We found this place, went without a reservation and found it packed with no available tables so we decided to sit at the bar instead. We ordered a seasonal cocktail with mezcal and a special pisco (pisco rosé), both of which turned out to be spectacular—some of the best we've had in the area. Then, we ordered some appetizers to try different dishes, including ceviches and a special dish with avocado and shrimp, simply wonderful. This place deserves all the praise and I'll be back soon.

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
