Pizza Papa Lyon Reviews from The Last Year
Pre-show evening
Recommended place for a meal before a show (another surprise with -20% between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on the menu and drinks) Pleasant welcome, fast and good service. As for the dishes, very good value for money (the pizzas have a very good thin crust) We will return.
Not terrible
Not very pleasant staff, pizza not great for the price, it was something else 15 years ago. Too expensive for what it is ....
Alright
Very pleasant surprise, I particularly appreciated the welcome and the very pleasant and fast service. The pizzas were good at a fair price. The best is the little limencelo offered. Really good 👍
Mediocre & bad.
Very mediocre cuisine, the pizzas taste defrosted, the salads and pastas are really of poor quality with questionable accompaniments and the escalopes we don't even talk about! To avoid !
Well done simply
Meal very good condition copious Super smiling and friendly service, this should be highlighted because it gets lost, well done to them Original and nice setting The most was much appreciated
Meal as a couple.
Very warm welcome, friendly and courteous staff, simple meal But very good, I really recommend this address.
HELP
I invite the room manager and the cook to undertake serious training to try to improve each of their parts but I doubt that they will be able to achieve this. To this end, I am posting this notice to warn customers who do not know this establishment to move on.
Total disappointment
Inexperienced staff and manager if you can call it a more than unpleasant manager. Food more than bland as well as the staff ultimately. TO FLEE. You might as well go eat McDonald’s given the conditions…. Disappointment guaranteed despite a friendly setting.
FLEE THIS RESTAURANT
Run away !! Error in order taking There were 3 of us, two people served and the third 10 minutes of waiting. The manager comes to apologize, I tell him of my dissatisfaction: not happy but we should have a small gesture at the end The quality of the food does not justify the price at all. Everything is bland escalope and linguist in water Carbo pasta pfff no cream or egg finally in water with a little raw ham On the other hand, upon arrival we pay the bill in full, not even a gesture, and the irony is that when we tell the manager, this gentleman gets angry and dares to say “I’m not offering you anything because you were unpleasant.” So sir, change jobs or work on your empathy In summary I advise you to FLEE this restaurant
Great discovery. Good value for money.
After a show, we tried this pizzeria. It's a good choice. The quality/price ratio is good. The service is pleasant, efficient and without fuss. The restaurant is located near the Palais de la Bourse in the center of the city and near the pedestrian area. Paid (but expensive) parking nearby.

Forget trying to snipe reservations online by waking up early and booking top restaurants at Carbone or Tatiana or Cote or 4Charles. After 2.5 months of booking reservations by setting up alarms, waking up early to sell appointments. It’s very hard to cash out on this app. During cash out, you have to pay $5 fee +3% transactions fee and max payout per day is $150.
Advice to new users:
- do not mass book reservations
- fill bids only
- don’t try to book reservations online, you need connections and call the restaurant
After putting in about 40 hours of work, I’ve made about $750 sale on this platform but gotten paid $0. Take this with a grain of salt.

I’m sorry to hear these negative experiences some of you have experienced. There is definitely a learning curve. The main reason the listings are not selling is that too many new sellers have been listing hundreds if not thousands of reservations for sale. If there are 30 reservations listed for sale at the same restaurant on the same night maybe 2 will sell. That will leave 28 unsold reservations and if you want to sell you would have to be the lowest price listed. The value is gone if you have to drop your price to $10.
Several sellers have offered training but sadly no one seemed interested.
The money you have earned is yours but you just need to keep your numbers up.

I’m sorry to see your numbers so low with 397 unsold and zero sold. You should reach out to whoever sponsored you as a concierge intern. That person should be happy to help you get moving in the right direction. I have sponsored a few people and I always take the time to help them with their sales.

Yeah I did exactly what you just said not to do. Mass booked. Tried different markets. Got black listed on Resy. Found other oddball places people keep looking for but STILL have not made one sale. And it will statistically take me 100% of the next 100 sales to get paid per this new sell-through rule. I used this as a fun little side challenge during my down time at work and if any of the 600+ connections I added ever take off, it might be worth the “claim” Lol but to hear you say after $750 in sales you have yet to see a penny, I wish I had this advice 2 months ago myself before I made the mental commitment 🙄
