I would not call this exactly street food, as it is pitched, but it is a bit different in concept from it's big sister next door, Plah (which is a top-notch gourmet Thai restaurant). The idea is that you choose a number of dishes and share them. Somewhat limited menu, especially if you don't eat meat, but exciting options nonetheless.
We made the blind jump to order the "Stekt Uer" -- a whole fish sold by weight (they had 3 different options for which weight we could have). It was a true experience that I can recommend. The dish came with rice and a delicious warm dish of greens.
We also had the bite size appetizer they suggested (a prawn inside a leaf with herbs and spices -- a taste explosion well worth the 39 kroner (about $3.50) each). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! (I wish we had had two each.). The green onion fritters appetizer was good, but a bit disappointing (especially for the price). I'd rather have had another of the prawn appetizer.
Service was wonderful, atmosphere fine for a Saturday night when everything was busy. We felt lucky to get a table, and then they graciously let us move to a window table when it opened up.
Location is close to the Castle Park (Slottsparken), so if you are in that area, it's very convenient. About a 12-minute walk from the National Theater subway stop.
