OMG! This place is AMAZING!!!First of, they are closed in the middle of the day to ready for the dinner crowd. they Open at 5:30 for dinner and I had gone with a friend to enjoy some delicious food. We had seen a video of this location on Instagram and decided to check it out. Upon arriving we were seated and given the menu. We had looked at the menu beforehand to see what may be good to get. I always study the menu before going to a spot as I want to try everything but can't in one go lol.We got the following:2 of their cocktail drinksNight Market - which contained 4.5/5Hwayo, Butterfly pea, Thai basil leaf, Basil seedLychee Sangria - which contained 5/5Sauvignon Blanc, Lychee, Cherry, Pineapple, CointreauFood:Sriracha Lime Dumplings 5/5 delicious and an unexpected way to prepare a dumpling.Crab Mac & Cheese Curry 10/5!!! I looovee a cheesy mac and cheese and this one had an amazing spice taste from the curry, this is one recipe that I would love to learn to make at home on my own. and the portion size, they do not skimp on.Crispy Pork Belly 10/5!!!! Amazing, it was tender and crispy and there was no need to add much to it as the taste of the pork belly gives so much flavor.Pad See Ew 5/5 Classic and delicious, it was done perfectly and the meat so tender to eatDrunken Noodles 5/5 the noodles were chewy and the meat was great, it was the right level of spiciness too, the type of level the makes you want to keep eating more no matter how spicy it gets. They do take card at this location.
Be the first to ReplySolid Thai spot conveniently located near herald square
Solid Thai spot conveniently located near herald square around so many modes of transportation. The service is nice, quick and friendly. For food, I tried the pad see ew and the minced pork stir fry along with the scallion pancakes and all were good. The pad see ew was a little sweet for me but the minced pork stir fry was phenomenal. Overall, I'm happy with my experience here.

The staff are super patient and friendly. They gave really honest and authentic opinions. Food definitely had a good kick for the spicy dishes. I think a little bit on the sweeter side for me but otherwise I would recommend. Very tasty and the decor was cute! (Food also came out extremely fast- felt like I was back in Thailand!)

Adorable thai place!I'm not Thai food connoisseur per se, but I would say this is pretty authentic based on my empirical Thai food experience. The ambiance is pretty nice, cute and colorful decor. The seats are a little bit crowded but hey welcome to Manhattan heh. I have always wanted to try the infamous Thai shrimp sashimi and was glad to see that they have it here! The shrimp is crunchy and the sauce is spicy - kicks it a great kick! Glad I tried it but I would prefer the shrimp texture to be more crunchy and less slimy than what I had there. Morning glory - I was instantly intrigued when I saw morning glory on the menu! Ordered it right away thinking it's the morning glory flower! Turns out it's the vegetable also known as water spinach. Slightly disappointed at the less exotic dish than what I was hoping for, it's tasty nonetheless. Lightly battered leaves and stems deep fried into perfect crispness. The accompanying sauce was flavorful and slightly spicy.Overall decent Thai place with both traditional and exploratory dishes.

Great spot near MSG/Penn station if you're looking for something good that is also not an Irish bar or pizza place

75/5been wanting to try out this place since there's not many thai places near ktown! not sure if i'll be back, but was still glad we tried this place out!- notes -both cash and card are accepted!also has a bathroom on both the first and second floor- atmosphere -loved the vibes of this place! the dim lighting and neon lights really made the atmosphere friendly for groups of friends grabbing a casual dinner. the restaurant has two floors; i'm not sure what the second floor looks like but the first floor had a fair amount of tables. - overall experience -my friends and i saw that this place was fully booked for reservations online so we decided to come right as they opened for dinner in hopes of getting a table. we came on a friday evening at around 5:30 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. we got seated right away and got our orders taken relatively quickly. - recommendations -highly recommend their thai fries and pad thai with chicken! 11/25/22-thai fries: got this as a side order for the table and it was definitely a fan favorite! the fries were on the short, thin, and crispy side, with a savory seasoning on top. they were served with their house-made lime leaf sour cream dip, which had a great balance of acidity and savoriness. it's a great side to share with the table for only ~$7. (4/5) -pad thai with chicken: this dish usually comes with shrimp, egg, tofu, scallion, red onion, radish pickle, peanuts, chili flakes, thai basil, cilantro, a lime wedge, and bean sprouts on top. however, you can substitute the shrimp for tofu, beef, or chicken at the same price. i decided to substitute in chicken, since the portion of shrimp that they give looks pretty small. it was a pretty solid plate of pad thai; the noodles were tasty and all the flavors complimented each other really well. the chicken was a bit overcooked though, which wasn't that bit of a deal. i didn't know that there were chili flakes on top because it wasn't mentioned on the menu. i kind of wish that they pointed it out because i wasn't expecting my pad thai to be spicy. i definitely feel like i would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't spicy, and the portion was kind of small for $17 too. (3.5/5)

No real ambiance and quite noisy, but 1/2 block to MSG for delicious Thai food? Count me in! Good menu with noodle, soup and curry options. We tried the Morning Glory with pork salad and Drunken Noodles. The latter was good, with delicious noodles and veggies but the chicken was dry and over cooked. The morning glory was lightly battered deep fried greens (not greasy) that are oh so addictive. It is served with a small bowl of cold ground pork with red onion in a spicy delicious sauce. Sounds weird right? But What a happy surprise. Never had anything like this combo. Try it! Happy hour had $7 glasses of wine and the crisp Gruner Vetliner was perfect to quell the spice. Good service. We arrived at 6 and got a table. By 6:30 the place was packed. Perfect spot when you don't want an Irish pub 1/2 block to MSG.
Be the first to ReplyConvenient location with great thai food.
Staff is very friendly and the establishment is very clean. I love the seafood sauce they have here. Have come for both lunch and dinner and would recommend it to my friends and family. I take off 1 star only cause its not the most authentic.

Just ordered to go several times. When I picked up it is usually crowded. hidden gem
Be the first to ReplyI came here for a casual lunch with a friend.
It's in a very unexpected location, very close to Penn Station. The interior is quite spacious and with pretty cool decor - this restaurant is part of Hand Hospitality. It wasn't very busy, I imagine dinnertime is more popular. We tried the Crispy Morning Glory and the Dried Egg Noodle with Crab. The former was our favorite - very flavorful and an interesting mix of textures. The noodles were good but not memorable. For dessert, we had mango sticky rice, which was very tasty - rich but also refreshing. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a positive experience and I would come back to try other dishes.

My friend suggested this restaurant to me and I was excited to try it after seeing the menu online. I went here on a Saturday evening and it was quite busy but we had reservations and were seated right away.We tried the crab curry mac and cheese, spicy chicken curry noodle, and the pad kra pow moo ssap. My favorite of the night was probably the crab curry mac and cheese. The curry twist was unique and surprisingly worked well. There was also a decent amount of crab. The spicy chicken curry noodle was flavorful and overall well executed but I've had better versions of this at other Thai restaurants in the city. The pad kra pow moo ssap was good, but once again not very memorable. The restaurant itself was clean and modern. A bit tightly packed but nothing unusual for the city. Definitely catered to a more youthful crowd. Service was smooth. Prices were slightly above average, which is understandable given the location and overall vibes. Worth a visit although definitely not the best Thai food I've had in the city.

Came to this place after escape room adventure near by, it is my birthday and we came out as a family to celebrate life and happiness together. This place have a rigid "Chef" or a waitress that just won't except any changes to the menu... I am allergic to seafood, but the noodles come with oysters sauce, so it can't be changed- they rather kill me, than change the dish... same with the green papaya salad , not to mention the fact that I couldn't get tofu with my noodles!!!Stir fried chicken could not come with noodles, as the "Chef" would not approve such atrocity to be served! In short: that won't accommodate any request for menu changes, even when I said I'll pay extra...The dishes are underwhelming in their flavors, and if I closed my eyes, I could tell what I was eating! I'm sorry to say it, but I won't go back, nor even recommend this place! The decor is of a high school cafeteria, cold and loud... The chef forgot to put one thing in all the foods and desserts: flavors!!! Make it spicy, lime, cilantro, Thai basil.... Coconut, salt and pepper go along way as well!!! The biggest insult to injury was the 20% cover charge for a table of 5 ppl, well if you would have gone out of your way to accommodate, and to serve, I would give it to you, unfortunately your service was HORRIBLE AT BEST, the waitress refused to come and serve us, because we had requested no sauce, tofu, and a plate: the manager had to come and serve us, together with 2 other servers... miscommunication? Made me feel horrible on my birthday!

It's hard to find good food near Penn Station/34th which makes Random Access a nice spot to grab a bite in that area. Thai food with some interesting twists. Pretty standard nothing earth shattering. Tasty cocktails, delicious crab sticks full of real crab meat, solid Thai entrees. Clean, fine music... would definitely go again if I need to grab dinner in that area... About a 3.5

Honestly I wish I liked this place more, since I love the other restaurants part of this group (like her name is Han). I think this place is fine but I feel like I'd probably rather just go to a regular Thai restaurant. I got the Tom Yum Ramen which had good quality ingredients, but was just missing that Thai flavor. As a ramen, I'd rather just go to a real ramen place... maybe the other dishes are better though.
Be the first to ReplyLovely new Thai place hidden away near Herald Square.
Noodles were cooked to perfection - just the right amount of chewiness for ramen and great flavor in the Tom yum broth too. Pork belly was crisp and tasty, we only wish there was more of it! The Kub Khao was a lot larger than expected, wish the veggies were a bit fresher but other than that it was great as well. Will come back again!
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant is more like a 3.
5 for me but rounding down due to my disappointment in its dessert. There were some issues I had where I had to clean two of the chairs for my table because it was dirty with food and when one of the waitress took a plate off the table, the excess sauce spilled onto the table and into my water cup. These were small issues for me; otherwise the rest of the service was fine. Now onto the food...Food is good but nothing spectacular that makes me want to go back for. It's Thai fusion but when you eat most of the items, the taste has no inkling of Thai flavors for me (or very minimal Thai flavors). I am usually huge on desserts but the fried banana ice cream dessert was a huge letdown for me. I had like one bite .. it was just not good. The added popcorn on the dessert, was that supposed to give it texture? A crunch? It was those popcorn that had a stale texture and I hated that. I see what the concept for the restaurant is but I'm not sure I'm a huge fan. The location is near Penn Station and away from the craziness of KTown. The interior of the restaurant was simple but atmosphere wise, a tad bit loud-- I personally found it hard to have a conversation with my friends there. If I'm ever in the area next time, I'll stick to Her Name Is Han.
Be the first to ReplyNot bad not bad and conveniently located near Penn Station.
Quaint space with authentic Thai and friendly service. The Thai iced tea was yummy with crushed ice - nice touch. They had a variety of dishes including different proteins like crab, which is nice. Portions are a bit smaller than other Thai restaurants but not a con. The pad see ew was cooked well, the cauliflower curry was tasty but a bit spicy so beware!
Be the first to ReplyI really like this restaurant.
I went last night and left with just a bad taste in my mouth. The food was great as usual, but when I (lactose intolerant) asked for a dessert without the ice cream, I was told I would need to order something else because removing the ice cream would ruin the presentation... disappointed to say the least. Probably not going back any time soon.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food.
This is a casual restaurant but with very tasty, fresh food, good variety and for the quality of the food the price is fair.We had the raw shrimps, ra platter and papaya salad with shrimp. Everything was amazing. I was impressed, the most, by the shrimp.Perfectly well balanced flavors, right amount of spicy and super fresh.
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere, tasty food but small portions.
I had the pad thai with shrimp and there was only one vegetable and not a very filling portion.
Be the first to ReplyNot bad, but I've had better value Thai food in NYC before.
I ordered the Pad See Ew, which was pretty average compared to others I've had. It could've been a bit more flavorful and there were kind of too many Chinese broccoli stems in there. More beef wouldn't hurt either. $17 is a standard price. I also tried the Banana Leaf Grilled Fish, which was super tender and melts in your mouth, but not particularly flavorful. Also, it was $25 for just that piece of fish, which seems overpriced to me. In addition, I tried the Satay Combo ($16 for 5 skewers)- the pork belly and chicken were decent, but for the shrimp, I really would've appreciated it they hadn't made me peel the entire thing. I also got a Mango Sangria ($14), which was nice and fruity. The restaurant itself is a bit noisy but clean with some unique decor like some ticker tape style moving LED signs. The service speed was decent and the staff were friendly and attentive.Overall, if you happen to randomly access Random Access, I wouldn't say to exit and find a different place. However, you might be able to find some alternative Thai restaurants that offer better value.
Be the first to ReplyWe had high hopes for this place and it did not disappoint.
The food was amazingly delicious but most surprisingly it was so much more affordable than I imagined! I got a delicious and largely portioned lunch special for only 15 dollars?! Garlic chicken wings These are now one of my favourite chicken wings in NYC! Super well fried but not dry and the garlic sauce was perfection. Chicken & waffles and a halfAgain the chicken was amazing! The waffles were a little too sweet for me but to each their own! Thai Ragu pasta and a half The first bite took me on a fast and furious ride to flavor town. It was bursting with spices and a rich depth of flavor but unfortunately it was too spicy for me to finish. I recommend this dish to those with very heavy palettes.Banana leaf grilled fish and a halfThe fish melted in my mouth, it was so tender and flavorful. The sauce felt a little overpowering so maybe start with a lower amount. Over delicious dish! Thai iced tea Very decent Thai iced tea. But there was so much ice that the tea was gone in like 3 sips.
