Be the first to ReplyExcellent freshly prepared food.
Delicious bbq (it's kinda hot so be prepared!) BBQ pizza was really tasty. Menu is straightforward so you can order quick if your super hungry. Quick service. Would go again.
Be the first to ReplyAuthentic tasting barbecue items freshly prepared.
The curries also had an above average taste. The weekend lunch buffet spread could be better given the price.

It's been a while since I came here last time (soon after opening). Really pleased to see they updated the interior of the restaurant. Nicer chairs, more organized, more lights to make it bright inside and a little prayer corner to boot. Same menu albeit they also do weekend lunch buffet now which has an expanded menu with more gravy based dishes to complement the BBQ. The BBQ itself continues to be solid. I'm glad they have managed to maintain the same great taste as they had when the owner was doing BBQ solo out of his backyard. It's a family run operation and I think that goes a long way to maintaining the quality of the food. Their prices are also reasonable which you won't hear me complain about ;)

We had a great time there. I thought the Pricing was a bit high but taste made up for it.

Be the first to ReplyThis review is strictly based on the Ramadan Iftar+buffet
This review is strictly based on the Ramadan Iftar+buffet experience this 2023. The overall experience was a nightmare, and extremely embarrassing as we invited a few other families, but we couldn't find iftar items, or bbq, and the entire management of food service was chaotic. We called in 2 weeks ahead of time for our party of 10. This is understandable given the exponential growth of the desi community that has grown in the DFW area, especially for places that are known for good food. I tried to call the restaurant location in my last 48 hours, but calls kept going to voicemail, and the mailbox was full, not accepting new messages. I wanted to confirm our reservation. Fortunately, the night before our scheduled date, I received a text to verify our party size and the ages of the children, etc., which we did. On the day of the iftar (Sunday), we got there 20 minutes before the iftar, as we were the host and wanted to be there earliest of our guests. The restaurant looked clean; all food displays were labeled, even saw 2 pizzas already out. I searched for our reserved table as each table had a name tag and party size listed, so that was a pleasant surprise, bringing some order & organization. Unfortunately, we got the farthest nook by the prayer area, next to the restrooms. I knew it was either take it or leave it deal at the moment as our guests could be there any minute, and no point panicking and making last-minute venue changes. At least, we hoped the excellent food would make up for the wrong spot. Close to iftar time, people started lining up, and the line got huge, and many parties ahead of us had grabbed almost everything leaving nothing for 60% of people still in the line and hadn't taken a bit yet. When we got to the iftar food, we were scolded by the manager, a lady, to only use disposable plates for the iftar, not ceramic ones. Well! Why didn't she organize the displays properly so customer cant grab ceramic plates? Anyway, we had ceramic and disposable plates both, but there was no samosa, and no chat; we only grabbed dates and returned to the table for a later hunt. Some of us decided to get dinner instead, but there also many dishes were empty. Malai tikka went extinct, and despite asking for it many times, we couldn't get it. The tables around the buffet area would see when the bbq would freshly come out, and they will grab the limited skewers that were put out before any of the other table people would discover. I don't know why didn't they organize the supply/demand better by delivering food to the table instead of the buffet trays because they could have managed the shortage of supply better. Our guests kept waiting on the iftar and barely found 2-3 items. The pizzas were the only two cold pizzas that we saw at entry. So don't assume you will have pizzas refilled for your kids/family. If you request/ask/complain/escalate, it will fall on the manager's ears; I don't know if she plays deaf by wisdom in the heat of the moment or if she really is. She will make you feel stupid, even asking anything. Biryani, naan, mutton karahi, chicken karahi, and malai tikka were labeled, so decent food was planned, but ONLY if you could find the BBQ in the platters. Bbq is delicious, to the point, you may want to cut the other hand, reaching for the super flavorful one bite, but generally, you don't want to start hunger game battles around your family. So, we decided to stay patient, tolerate, and hope someone finds something somewhere. It was embarrassing to see our guests leaving the table multiple times and returning with nothing. Finally, we grabbed some biryani and karahi and then proceeded to dessert. At one point, mango lassi showed up suddenly, and everyone started to get it. I grabbed two 6oz cups of the lassi but the manager started arguing to not take the 2nd cup and i complained we are a party of 10 and didnt get anythinh from iftar and bbq, did she notice that too? when I complained that none of us got iftari or any bbq, she started acting deaf again. She must be awarded an Oscar for her performance. The dessert was kheer/gulab jamun. Luckily, we got dessert as we moved to dessert sooner than others as we couldn't find much iftar and bbq for the meal. It was a very disappointing iftar experience. We paid over $300 for 10 people for this nightmare. There are far many better places that will feed 10 people to fill for $300 but not this one. We got pizzas on our way home from pizza hut after paying $300 for the nothing but only embarrassing experience. Food Service: 1/5 Customer service: 1/5 Organization: 1/5 Seating/Tables: 2/5 Prayer nook: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Flavor/taste: 5/5 Food display: 3/5 Overall experience: 2/5

It's hard to stand out as a restaurant in Dallas, this restaurant is s must try. Best kabobs and service in town! I've eaten other great places of Kabobs in Dallas and this one is one of the best of the best. Their iftar buffet is superb.
