Red Phone Booth - Nashville Reviews from The Last Year
Great place to sit and enjoy drinks with friends.
This is kind of a not so secret speakeasy. High end cocktails for those who appreciate such things. We had a great time even though we don’t smoke. Yes it is a cigar lounge that stores cigars for members in a humidor. Drinks were great, there’s even a small selection of beers. The bartender we had was good at his job but lacked social skills. Could not recommend anything. I tried to strike up a conversation but he gave one word answers. Overall had a great time talking with other patrons.
Not sure why people leave a 3 star because they didn't know
Not sure why people leave a 3 star because they didn't know it was a cigar bar. Why is that the fault of the bar? The place is great. Extremely relaxing. Employees are fantastic. Yes prices are a little high but the atmosphere is very classy and is a great experience. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Cool atmosphere.
CON: Cigar smoke was overwhelming and I had to wash my hair before I went to bed due to smell

Tucked away behind a red old school telephone booth, this hidden gem has a very cool vibe. The craft cocktails are expertly mixed, even though the bartenders are a little hit and miss on their level of friendliness. Dim lighting, very nice cigar humidor with quality cigars and lots of sitting areas. The manager, AJ, is very personable. Even though it has an exclusive feel, he does not come across as hoity-toity. My buddy did not have a collared shirt on, and he offered him a jacket. Thankfully we were staying across the street, so it was an easy change for him, but the fact that was offered by him - class act.
Cool factor from how hotel front desk handled my ask to go
Cool factor from how hotel front desk handled my ask to go to the red phone booth to how you access speak Easy. 5. Ambience inside 5. Bar was nice but ended with a couple Yahoos next to me trying to get hugs off the waitress and ruined sitting at bar for me. 3 stars. Sitting areas are mostly couches for groups so is someone was trying to chill with a date or solo it could be better designed and be more intimate with small chairs seatings. The couches were NOT Comfortable. Was like sitting in an airplane seat were the back goes straight up. Come on, you need to be able to mold and fold into a Comfy leather couch. Not stiff back 3 stars Waitress and staff 5 stars Cigars humidor. 5. Must try. Cool place. Kudos to the owner for providing such a neat venue.

We were given the information on how to enter the red phone booth from our hotel concierge so we decided to make it a group outing with some friends of ours who were also in town with us this previous weekend. When we got there the ambiance was very nice. We walked through the phone booth and were greeted by a well dressed gentleman who explained to us about the speakeasy and how things worked. He was so accommodating with our party. That's where things went downhill though, our server Serena was, well there's no other way to explain it, rude with us. She acted like every question we had was stupid. With such a large menu, we were only looking for some guidance. If you go here, I feel like service can be a big factor as to if you have a good time. I hope yours is better than ours.
What a hidden gem! It's fun getting in.
The ambiance is spot on. Really makes you feel like you went back in time. The drinks are phenomenal. And the bar tender was so quick, making the drinks from scratch and they were all flavorful. This is a cigar bar so be aware there will be people smoking indoors.
Great little speakeasy vibe.
Awesome cocktails Service was good. Safe location No reservation needed
Very cool place.
Old school and not Gimicky! Great date night spot. Gotta try it but make sure you know the code or you won't get in. Must see...
Quite a nice place for cocktails and cigars.
We loved the ambience, being a first timer to a speakeasy - enjoyed the experience. Nice and quick service with an extensive cocktails menu and a very limited food menu. Overall, a good Saturday night. Had a great time!

What a cool place! You have to use the rotary phone in the English style phone booth in front gain access if you're not a paying member. You can get the number from the hotel you're staying at, they will give you a business card. We went last week and had a nice time. It's an old school speakeasy that offers classic and contemporary cocktails along with wine and craft beers. The bourbon and whiskey selections are top notch. One turn off for my wife, guests can smoke cigars inside. But, it wasn't bad and the ventilation system kept the smoke to a minimum. I quit cigars years ago but I still enjoy the odor of them. Anyway, we had some drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere here very much. Paying members get full access whenever they want, a liquor locker and I think they can store cigars in the humidor. Guest access is limited to having the business card and you may get turned away if it's crowded inside, so I'm told. Definitely check this place out. Also, be mindful there is a dress code. Oh there was a glitch with the phone last week and we used the cell phone to call. The gentleman who answered and opened the door said that there is only ONE person who can fix the phone and they have him booked for later in the year. I actually miss the days of the rotary phones.
Speakeasy to the Nth Degree!!
Classy, quiet and unique! Everything you expect in a high end Speak easy. Going through a Red Phone booth is a crazy cool touch. Drinks were great and the food selection was excellent.
What a great place to visit!! The ambiance was perfect!!

Not worth your time
Was excited to try this spot but was disappointed. Very pretentious and terrible service. Had hoped for better. Ended up leaving without getting anything.
Walked in and had the code from our hotel.
The older gentleman that met us was rude and told us we needed to use the phone booth that said it was out of service. Would not recommend.
Must have membership to enter.
Waste of time. The phone did not even work in the phone booth but it's a cute picture op

Super cool and unique speak easy experience! Staff was awesome and entertaining. Cocktails were great! Highly recommend.
Don't waste your time.
Phone doesn't work, manager came out and just asked how many In each group and if the had reservations. Turned 6 of us away.
Wonderful experience.
Their air handling system was awesome and provided a good atmosphere for non-smokers like my wife. Excellent cigar selections, comfortable seating; fun atmosphere, clean and great service.

Can't recommend this place enough! You enter through a phone booth on the sidewalk, and if you enter the correct code, they will come open the door and escort you to your seat. They do have a dress code which they will enforce, which I was super impressed by. For drinks, I had the Ramos Fizz, Bramble, and Fancy Tequila Cocktail which were all amazing. For food, we had the sliders which were very good as well. Our waiter was very attentive and never let our drinks sit empty. He was knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations! Even though they offer cigars here as well, the smell is not overpowering and they have an amazing air filtration system that keeps the smoke and odor to a minimum. Definitely one of the coolest bars I've ever been to. We'll definitely go back if we're ever in Nashville again or if we're ever near one of their other locations!

This is our second visit here, sat at the bar with my wife, one of the female bartenders served us and she couldn't have made it a better experience if she tried! I wish I could remember her name as she definitely deserves some recognition!!
A great experience
This made the top of the list for our son’s 21st birthday. Such a great experience. The attention to detail made the experience so great
Wow! We visited with a member who had reservations.
They knew her by name and the experience from the minute we walked in was top notch. The ambiance is incredible - low couches, fire places, cigar smoke. It wasn't overly smoky - they have a great ventilation system. We had a party of four - ordered charcuterie, drinks, cigars, and dessert. If You don't like the drinks, they will remake until you're happy. Ask your hotel concierge for the phone number to get in - it's well worth it.

Such a fun and interesting concept! I love the secrecy and feeling of exclusivity to get in there and upon entering you are met with dim lights, cigar smell lingering in the air and soft chatter. They have a dress code and men must wear a jacket or the can provide you with one. I love that! The drinks are nice and they have a nice wine list. The cigars are priced fairly or you can bring your own. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. On my next trip to Nashville, I will definitely stop by again'

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
