You will be happy you went to Red Torch Ginger in Downtown Dublin.
With so many great options to dine in Dublin, it was difficult to settle on just one restaurant. However, after a day of siteseeing, we landed on having what would be an amazing meal at Red Torch Ginger located in downtown Dublin. We started our evening with a warm welcome from the manager. We didn't have reservations, but were fortunate that a couple had just canceled. We started the evening with their Dim Sum starter that included two duck, two chicken and two vegetable offerings. They were delicious and were eaten more quickly then I would normally admit. For our entrees, I ordered the Yellow Curry with Duck and my SO ordered the Pad Thai with Seafood. The dishes were served piping hot and their presentation was appealing to this diner's eyes. The dishes were so good and we could have stopped there, but instead we went for the Key Lime Pie. The Key Lime Pie was very good. It was very light tasting Key Lime Cheesecake. We left happy and no have no reservations in recommended this restaurant. Enjoy!

Popped in for a meal recently. We'd always wanted to try this restaurant and for the most part, we were not disappointed. The waiting staff were welcoming, professional and efficient. The choice and quality of food was good too. So what happened to turn the evening sour? We had only just finished eating, when our plates were being cleared and we were being asked about dessert. No problem there but I asked for a break before we decided. No one came back to ask. Instead the bill was put on the table, taking us by surprise. Shortly after, a waitress arrived with the card machine. We asked did they need the table back (a little odd as there were five free tables around us)? We were told "No. The Manager just wants you checked out." Pity they didn't come back because I had wanted a coffee, my pal another glass of wine and we were thinking of sharing a dessert - if someone had bothered to ask. The abrupt end has made us not want to return again

Be the first to ReplyDelicious Thai Food in a Lovely Setting!
Absolutely some of the best Thai food that we’ve had in years! Truly delicious. The restaurant is lovely and in a convenient location, not far from Temple Bar. And the food is so flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated. Three stars is hot, but not crazy, the flavors shine through the heat (green curry with chicken and three stars can’t be beat). The owner is lovely and really makes an effort to accommodate her customers and then there’s Leticia, our favorite server in all of Ireland.

Not Authentic. This restaurant used to be better, found it very basic, nothing special. The was was disgraceful prices.

We really enjoyed our meal and appreciate the terrific service provided by our waiter, Stephen. Well done Red Torch. Brian and Elena.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and fabulous Gin and Tonics
Food was all very well named and tasty. Started with the Tom Yum soup, just the right amount of spice. Then finished with the drunken noodles with seafood. Gin and Tonics were awesome

Another great lunch in Red Torch Ginger. Food & service were excellent, nice daytime atmosphere, would definitely recommended.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Thai Food
This is hands down the best thai food I have had in a while. ordered the drunkards noodles and was not disappointed with spice level. Ordered with 5 others and easily accommodated a larger party. Would return again, no hesitation

We stumbled on this restaurant by accident and were so delighted we did. The staff welcomed us in, the food was delightful and the ambience is pleasant. One of our party is coeliac and staff were very knowledgable about gf options. We had Panang Curry and Cashew Chicken and both were delicious. Handy location not far from Trinity. We will definitely be returning.

Joan front of house is amazing. Her staff appreciates and me as a customer appreciates how much attention and care that she has about this amazing place, food and atmosphere. We headed over last Friday before a concert, my pal thought that I had booked a table and vice versa. No bother to Joan, she sent us downstairs with our own waitress. Service was five star, eye contact, attention to detail that’s missing in so many places. Sparkling clean glasses, dinner ware, unobtrusive music and food to beat the band. I ordered calamari, my companion duck rolls, full of tasty duck and both hot. Nothing was too much trouble. We both ordered crispy chicken with a light delicious sauce, glutton free as I can never sleep after having it and I know straight away next am. Go for the noodles with that. Our waitress approved our choice of wine with the dish. She was a delight. Surprise surprise we found Joan the manager in the ladies sweeping the floor. It too many do that, ego and all the rest. Says much about the restaurant. We love it.
Be the first to ReplySo good visited twice
We are in some really good restaurants in Dublin but this was so good we visited twice the 2nd time on our last evening of a 5 night stay. The 2nd visit was even better than the first, best Massaman curry I’ve had since Thailand, Beef Thai basil also very good. Recommend the chicken satay and duck rolls to start. Recommend taking up the opportunity for Thai spice on both main courses. Service also very good from lovely staff

8 o’clock on a Monday night. The food was delicious and was served quickly. Thai, green curry, somatic, crispy duck, something else noodly, that I can’t remember the exact name of. Was all super fresh and tasty! I would happily recommend this friendly cosy restaurant.

We booked as two couples and on arrival a little earlier than planned they got us to the table without a wait. We had the Early Bird menu and I can honestly say it was the nicest Thai meal I have ever had. The menu was much more extensive than we thought it would be and the food is amazing. If you have the Tom Yum soup be aware that it is a large dish. I finished mine but then couldn’t finish my noodles main!!! Staff are lovely and attentive but we did have trouble understanding one of them and as a result missed getting our tea and coffee. Our mistake probably.

Had such a lovely experience here for our anniversary. We were treated to a glass of fizz on arrival, all of the staff were so lovely also. Service was very fast and there was so many options. Food was very tasty and great portion sizes too. Would definitely recommend!

Me and a friend walked in front of the restaurant and decided to go there later for dinner and let me say that it was the right decision! The food was great: delicious and with good portions. The staff was very friendly and the food did not take long to be ready! I recommend :)

We aren’t strangers to this fab restaurant. Covid 19 curtailed our visits but we are back. OMG what an experience. The staff, service and food are absolutely wonderful. A special thanks to Joon, Gary and Damon. A very well run restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The Garlic & Pepper beef was unreal. Keep up the wonderful work. A truly amazing experience.

The food in this restaurant is very nice. I have to say it’s the nicest food out of Thailand I had had and I have been to many Thai restaurants. Good portions are also very good. The chicken Satay starter is amazing and the Singapore Noodles are lovely and spicy and the Penang chicken curry. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and the restaurant itself is very nice inside too. Great ambience. Well worth a visit if you like Thai food. I would go again if I was ever back in Dublin.
