Restaurant El Bungalow, Palma Coll d'en Rabassa Reviews from The Last Year
Love this restaaurant
great restaurant. loved the setting right on the beach. beautiful fresh food. i had fish on a three separate visits and was lovely. Very attentive serving staff who made every body feel really welcome. Love this place and cant wait to go back
Traditional paella a stone's throw from the sea.
Truly a seaside bungalow. We had reserved a 'front row table',m; despite the uncertain weather, behind the glass we had the sea and the spray 10 meters away. Handsome. Informal, friendly, hasty place. Paella de mariscos good, very seasoned, excellent crust. Abundant, we didn't take anything else. It talks about sangria being a little expensive, but especially too sweet.
Always look at the pictures carefully and only read the negative comments👍
Horrible old furniture from the 60s and dirty dishes, who knows what it looks like in the kitchen👍 Taste and quality mediocre, so sold way too expensive! The waitresses are cheeky and not at all professional, they can only suck up, that says everything about their skills👍 Location is like in the Fabelas, no nice promenade by the sea, no designer terrace either! Anyone who finds it high quality and fine is probably used to eating at the snack bar in Germany🤦🏻 ♂️🤣👍
A classic that disappoints
We went thinking that it would continue as always and honestly...low quality and abusive prices. Designed for foreigners who do not know how to appreciate quality. The seafood paella has been disappointing... rice without any flavor, without color... and the price of the drinks is abusive. The truth is that it is a shame that a classic like this has become this. I'm sorry but we won't be back nor can we recommend it.
Disappointing for the price, the situation, very good
Acceptable quality, although very expensive, a fish for two, four rods, some Roman squid and squid, 120 euros, amazing. Staff, older and rude ladies, very bland.
No table available for us
Unfortunately, we didn't get a table for 5 ladies. There were dozens of free tables. The disdainful look we received made us think that they didn't want us. It's a shame, great location right by the sea and it smelled really good of fresh fish, but it's only good enough for 2 stars.
Disappointing seafood blind paella
We ate Roman squid that were fresh and good and 2 paellas, one blind with seafood that seemed to have been made the day before and reheated. Perhaps they should change the brand of rice and use nomen since it was not as it should be in a paella and the second was the black cuttlefish that was. it was good We expected something else, the spectacular views
High value for money
We were thinking of eating a paella for two people at the price indicated but, because the waiter did not specify it correctly, we paid double!! Arriving at the checkout, we were mocked and my credit card was thrown on the counter like a piece of trash. The view doesn't justify everything!! I do not recommend despite an excellent dish….
Paella
Excellent paella, dry to perfection Fried calamari: good Adequate service: courteous and quick Excellent cheesecake Adequate price Advised !!
Forget it!!!! Absolutely don't go there!!!
They make you pay for the olives that we didn't ask for, and then for €43 of truly senseless paella, the requested paella was already clean (PAID MORE) AND IT ARRIVED TO BE CLEANED so much so that the waiter told us to bite it clean. Forget it, don't go there, they'll screw you!!! Truly incredible and senseless!! Never again poor

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
