All a show!!!!!! The location, the exquisite dishes, the service, the chef and his boys who prepare the dishes in an almost surgical manner, a pleasure for both the sight and the palate!!! Really good.
Two stars… I don’t think so!
I’m being picky here because it’s a two-Michelin star restaurant and the price of the menu reflects that. So the standard should be high and the experience should be unforgettable. Perhaps it’s because we just dined at Piazza Duomo and Francescana, but Arnolfo was very disappointing. First, the acoustics and lighting of the restaurant were uncomfortable. As the restaurant filled up, I could barely hear my companion seated right next to me. Also the light was pointed straight at me and I quickly got very hot. Second, the sommelier was very pushy with wines listed at 500-800 Euros. She kept saying the lower priced, younger vintages of super Tuscans were not ready to drink. If they aren’t ready to drink, don’t have them on the menu. Third, the owners are extremely obnoxious. Nice of them to stop by and say hello but please don’t interrupt conversations. Also, we were walking out to leave the restaurant after a 3.5 hours and the owner insisted that we tour the wine cellar. It’s close to midnight sir. The most cringe moment was when he kept telling us to stand in the corner and take a picture. Just oblivious. Lastly, the food. Nothing really stood out for a two-Michelin star restaurant. Flavors were good but not spectacular. Pasta was overcooked.
The new location is a certainty and splendid
The new place is truly fabulous, facing the village of Colle. The cellar does the same, both in terms of choice of wines and the new air-conditioned rooms which are nothing short of fantastic. The level of cuisine is always very high, always a pleasure to return. Highly recommended, worth the trip. Large, very convenient car park also with electric charging stations.

A 2 star birthday (Michelin)
My husband chooses this restaurant for his birthday, there are two of us. After so many 1-stars, we try the leap and at Arnolfo's everything is 2 Michelin stars! The perfect service, Mr. Trovato accompanies us on a visit to the cellar, amazing, I've never seen a restaurant with a cellar like this. Excellent in the dishes, despite my numerous and annoying allergies, it is the first time I have eaten everything from start to finish without not finishing, in a Michelin star restaurant. Really congratulations! The beautiful flowers on the table, from which the annoying pollen have been removed, I found it wonderful. The new structure is beautiful, designed and designed for the customer, in which everything is done to make him feel like a king. A surprise cake with candle for my husband. An open kitchen immersed in a marble wall of a size that does justice to the masters who work inside, perfectly framed. EXCELLENT ATTENTION TO DETAILS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Well deserved two Michelin stars!!! Next time at night, for dinner. If everything is so well looked after, with the lighting at night it should be even more magical. A fantastic experience, we will definitely be back soon, thanks for the fantastic experience!

Incredible location, beautiful open kitchen, very young and very kind staff, and what about chef Gaetano's menu. Found wonderful and balanced dishes, an exaltation of flavours. I can't wait to go back.

ONE, TWO, THREE STAR! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️
One, two, three stars! I borrowed this children's game to convincingly express my thought that the two current Michelin stars are now a bit close to the philosophy of the Arnolfo world. ALL-ROUND PERFECTION is the slogan that best suits the creation of the Trovato brothers. We start from the structure of the place, which deserves a separate review, which is a beautiful futuristic architectural work in glass and Corten that integrates well into the surrounding landscape. The room is beautifully bright and enjoys a fabulous view of Colle Val D'Elsa. The tables, well spaced, are impeccably and elegantly set with refined tableware. Inside the room, set in an elegant marble-clad wall, there is the large open kitchen in which the large kitchen team expertly led by Gaetano Trovato operates silently. The service is impeccable and professional, carefully guided by Giovanni Trovato who makes use of a close-knit group of young people who welcome the guest in a kind and thoughtful but not nagging way for the entire duration of the meal. I reserve a special mention for the nice and witty girl from Nuoro who is always ready to joke but never comes across as out of tune or out of place. And PERFECTION absolutely could not be missing from Arnolfo's cuisine. The highest quality raw materials and the exaltation of the territory are the basis of the success of this place. Added to these characteristics is a refined basic technique and obsessive attention to cooking. Perhaps some dishes may seem a little dated and lacking in verve but they reflect the philosophy and genius of the Chef who carefully and respectfully follows new things without being dominated by the pandering fashions of the moment. My table chose the "Alla corte di Laura Peri" menu which is a beautiful tribute to the authenticity of the products and animals raised by the company of the same name in Valdarno. In fact, the initial toughness that is felt when chewing the Muscovy duck is confirmation of the attention and care that is put into the choice and breeding of the animals by the producer. The gastronomic journey concluded worthily with the small pastry shop which has absolutely nothing small about it. In fact, each diner is offered a generous variety of sweet delicacies. A warm thank you to the Trovato brothers and to all their staff and a sincere wish to be able to soon reach the desired and deserved goal finish line.

And who said that Gaetano Trovato is finished...??? What are we talking about??? Rinse your knuckles all you who have to say anything about the great master and his restaurant. I have been returning to Tuscany to Arnolfo for 15 years and every year he surprises me with something new, but since he built the new restaurant it deserves to be among the biggest, otherwise THE GREATEST!!!! Well done Gaetano, good guys in the dining room, wonderful place, 4 STAR dishes!!! Enough with the usual stories of those who are older, there is no doubt, ARNOLFO has 4 Michelin stars. YOU ARE THE MASTER!!! ARNOLFO restaurant is 4 MICHELIN stars!!!! Thank you because you always inspire me!!!! Long live Arnolfo!!!!

The restaurant is spectacular and the details are all very well looked after. The service is impeccable and the dishes are truly exceptional. The only flaw is the wines, which have an unnecessarily high mark-up.

On our recent trip to Italy, we wanted to try to get into one two star Michelin restaurant. We got the recommendation from a food writer who is one of the proprietors at La Bandita Townhouse where we stayed in Siena. And let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. They moved from their old location in the heart of the old town to a beautiful new modern building right outside of town. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and feels light, bright and inviting. The service was impeccable, as expected if a two star Michelin spot. We opted for the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The sommelier we had was excellent and explained why each wine was paired with each dish. The food was decadent and delicious. Each course was beautifully prepared and felt like a work of art of your plate. My favorites were the ravioli (one side had one filling and the other side had a completely different filling) and the chicken dish. The amuse Bouche dishes were also very impressive. We also got the wine cellar tour from the sommelier. It is an amazing temperature controlled 8000 bottle cellar at the basement of the restaurant. Really nice tough. We highly enjoyed our lunch and the tour.

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
