On our recent trip to Italy, we wanted to try to get into one two star Michelin restaurant. We got the recommendation from a food writer who is one of the proprietors at La Bandita Townhouse where we stayed in Siena. And let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. They moved from their old location in the heart of the old town to a beautiful new modern building right outside of town. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and feels light, bright and inviting. The service was impeccable, as expected if a two star Michelin spot. We opted for the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The sommelier we had was excellent and explained why each wine was paired with each dish. The food was decadent and delicious. Each course was beautifully prepared and felt like a work of art of your plate. My favorites were the ravioli (one side had one filling and the other side had a completely different filling) and the chicken dish. The amuse Bouche dishes were also very impressive. We also got the wine cellar tour from the sommelier. It is an amazing temperature controlled 8000 bottle cellar at the basement of the restaurant. Really nice tough. We highly enjoyed our lunch and the tour.

Fantastic place ! The whole experience was incredible & leaving us... wanting to come back already (for lunch time to experience the patio's view & the finest food & wines). The recommended wines went perfect with our meal. We all had the Evolution Contemporary Meal, a recommended by Chef Gaetano Trovato. Chef came our to met & greet, which was a nice touch. The food was most delicious & the creativity is amazing. The services was impeccable. The staff was efficient & friendly. Must make reservations in (pref. in months) & credit card is required to hold reservations. There will reminders prior to reservations. The whole process was pleasant & efficient. It's a life time experience...and perhaps, we want to return soon if we are in this area. Life is good !

All I can say is WOW !!! My wife and I did the private cooking class with Sous-chef Ariel Hagen and his team in the kitchen. Chef Gaetano joined us for some of the time. After 3 hours in the kitchen we walked around the charming town and took in the magnificent views. We came back for lunch in the 7 or 8 table restaurant. The service was professional and amazing the front of the room is run by Giovanni, Chef Gaetano's brother and partner. Everyone was warm and made us feel special. The food and wine pairing was fantastic. Knowing how complex the preparation of the food is made us appreciate it even more. This was one of the best meals we ever ate.This was a special experience that I highly recommend Arnolfo

The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Every bite was so unique and delicious. They made us feel so special and celebrated. It was our first Michelin Star experience and we can't wait for the next!

I had reservations for a Saturday in early June and the GPS took me there from San Gimignano without any surprises. It was a surprise, however, to be greeted warmly by Giovanni Trovato, Gaetano's brother and his partner in the restaurant.The menu was excellent and the servings were somewhat generous but not excessive. Chef Gaetano Trovato sets high standards of creativity; Service was very attentive and Giovanni Trovato personally took all the orders. He was always around to cater to any need I could have.The menu changes frequently but you are always sure to find fish and lots of fresh vegetables in the summer. You're in for a treat if the specials include carrè di agnello al vino rosso e sella alle olive (rack of lamb in a red wine sauce and lamb saddle with olives).Highly Recommend.

Chef Gaetano Trovato or his brother will greet you at the door and whisk you away to your table. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Oh and of course the flavors and stylings that the kitchen presents are totally brilliant!
