Nice view
Nice view, you good see over London. Nice place to drink coffee and just enjoy view and the athmospere. Not something to spend all day but for a visit ok.
Be the first to ReplyCouldn't get free tickets to view so had to pay for a meal.
Amazing views but you pay for it if you get a Darwin reservation. The prices were not in comparison to other high end "high top" restaurants I have dined in -CN Tower, Marriott over Niagara Falls. Yes, you pay extra for the elevator up and view but there should be adequate food on the plate for the price. They asked if it was a special occasion and I said yes big anniversary yet the waiter forgot at the end. He did bring a dessert plate made up with happy anniversary once I mentioned it. I asked if we could sit at the window seat that came available next to us but they said no, so our table view was inset somewhat. We were free to wander afterwards so walked around 3+ hrs there from 4:30pm (only avail time) to around 7pm. Seeing the sunset was worth it. You are free to do a 360 wander after dinner and take in the views/DJ music and bar. The patio was closed as it was Oct. I got some great photos so that was worth it to me. As per other comments, I was not able to find free tickets. I think they prefer making money off the dining reservations. 1 star off the rating for not having free tickets available.
Be the first to ReplyGood views poor food in restaurant
Amazing views and free! Only the queues to contend with as only 2 limited capacity lifts. We booked restaurant so avoided a long long queue. Food in restaurant did not live up to expectations. Very good staff but menu choices very limited. Chose the sea bass which was overcooked in a very very sweet tomatoe sauce. 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 bottle of lower priced wine[(£54), total bill an eye watering £230!!. We want to a Slug & Lettuce for a tapas type lunch with 2 drinks for £45. The food was better than the Sky Garden by far. We should have known better.

It was a great day out 50 friends very well organised all check in they ask for ID very secure when you get up to the top it’s sites that would take a few days to walk round but from up here you see it all.

Amazing views even on a very dull day, we escaped the lousy weather and were able to prop up the bar at the Darwin while we waited for our table. Great meal lovely atmosphere and a shout out to Alin who could hardly have been nicer, apologised as his shift was coming to an end, but he was around for at least another half hour. Dedicated.

Well worth the queues - make sure you book in advance. The place was busy yet we experienced no negative vibes that some poor reviews on here led us to believe would spoil our visit.
Be the first to ReplyUnusable online booking system DOES NOT WORK
The biggest mount system for tickets is unusable and not fit for purpose. It impossible to book tickets. You will be requested number of tickets, and advised that a date and time is required. But it is IMPOSSIBLE to add or select a date or time. I tried on Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Microsoft Edge on both a desktop PC and my iPhone and no ability to select a date. If this is because the dates are fully booked out, then why can’t the website simply say so? Checking the Internet and MANY people have the same issue.
Be the first to ReplySky Garden at Night
We had reservations for 8 people at the Sky Garden at 10pm on Sunday. That was the earliest available option, and they close at 11:30pm. But that was plenty of time. We could see the lights of London below and the drinks were good. The bartenders didn’t know how to make some of the drinks we ordered (dirty martini, French 75, etc) but that wasn’t a deal breaker. I would say it’s a little overrated, but I’m still glad we went. The dress code isn’t enforced. So don’t worry too much about it before you go! We saw many people in ripped jeans and sneakers.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful views of London and free of charge, what's not to like?
We pre booked our tickets online, they are free tickets but book in advance, the queue for entry for non ticket holders was an hour wait when we visited, Tickets are only available 3 weeks in advance on the website. Once inside you get beautiful views across London city. The indoor garden areas are kept well and has a nice feel. The food and drinks counter was busy we waited about 20min to get a drink, expect to pay high London prices we had 2 drinks (alcoholic) and came to £28. We stayed for a couple of hours chatting and wandering round the viewing points. For a free visit and beautiful views I think its worth it.
Be the first to ReplyWas OK, expected more - great views though
We expected more - wring time of year for flowers perhaps but garden plan life very drab and looking sorry for themselves. If you want views and selfies pics with London back drop then great. Gardens very disappointing. Do not go when wet - no access to balcony outside, restricted to pictures inside. Stopped for a coffee to drag out an hour visit, then walked around a second time. Only there an hour, tops.

I've been intending to to visit the sky garden for ages & finally got there because my daughter booked for the family. We went on a horrible grey rainy day so the views weren't good but I still enjoyed it enormously. I'm a Londoner & I loved spotting buildings & seeing familiar places from 37 floors up. There was a huge queue which moved very quickly & I was very impressed with how organised everything was, there is understandably strict security. IT'S FREE. There are lots of tables & chairs & even sofas & we had a lovely breakfast. The garden has some exotic plants growing. It's beyond me the people moaning about queues etc. IT'S FREE. I've been telling everyone to visit.

Visited Sunday 26th Feb pre booked our tickets que was big but didn't take that long to get inside . Security is in place like at the airport once through we went up by lift very quick and very smooth. It was a really clear day so great views of the city didn't buy a drink but you can sit at the tables without buying anything not much of a garden but it's definitely worth a visit if in London.
Be the first to ReplyCrowds and queues.
We booked well in advance as we were told it gets booked up. We arrived for our time slot to find a huge queue that wasn’t being managed. Checked in and had to queue again for security. No one explained what needed to be done. The metal detector beeped for 3 in our party but nothing was done! When we got up to the garden it was packed. No where to sit, everyone crowding around the windows and view points. We got to see sunset over everyone’s head. Couldn’t find anywhere to sit for a drink so it wasn’t king before we joined the huge queue for the lifts. They let far too many people in, spoiling what could be a loverly evening.
Be the first to ReplyIs it wrong I expected more?
Booked and queued, moved fairly quickly through the queue and security. No ID check on admission as stated on booking. Lifts smooth and quick, lovely open area and seating. Very busy but we were there at lunch. The queue to go down was 2 folded across the open area so people were looking over you chairs while eating and drinking, queues for drinks never went down. I felt more staff were needed and another lift or the option to walk the stairs for those of us that can easily manage. If you have capacity booking limits then staff accordingly? The views were lovely even though there was some cloud. Outside was closed off due to the wind and many friends have said it’s closed when they went. The garden bit was nice but I felt it was lacking. I didn’t see any history or info whilst there about the building, concept, how it’s ran or what’s in the rest of it? We were directed across to the shop the other side, ready to shop and were a little stumped on walking in… this definitely needs work, where’s the space for it, imagination and what would sell? Sky ‘Garden’ I could think of 20/30 items to put in there that’s affordable memorable and would sell. People should experience it but it’s not a place I’d return to.
Be the first to ReplyDon’t buy drinks
Arrived at 8:10 for 8:30 reservation, told by surely greeter to come back at 8:30 despite many free tables. Cocktails are their own creations, very poor and took over 20 minutes to arrive, overpriced. Jew is great, don’t bother buying a drink
Be the first to ReplySurreal and extremely impressive, with views to die for.
It's hard to believe this is a free attraction. All you need to do is book in advance, and queue (queues are fairly short and fast-moving). There are three levels in the Sky Garden and each offers amazing views, with semi-tropical plants, cafes and bars. It does not seem too crowded either because there is more than adequate space up there. W great way to spend an hour or so, but there is no time limit that I am aware of.
Be the first to ReplyWalk up tickets
I have previously visited with booked tickets, this time we chanced a walk up ticket. The queue was superbly managed and communication was great, we had signed in and was inside within 15 minutes!
Be the first to ReplyIts Free
Its free, what's not to like about it. The gardens are nice but think its more about the views from here really. You can see most of London and take some wonderful pictures. I pre booked so didn't have to queue to get in but there can be a bit of a wait for the lift coming back down. Make sure you allow plenty of time if you have another place to be.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous staff!
Visited the sky garden in august. The place is beautiful and staff so welcoming. Special mention to Jennifer at the bar. She was incredibly attentive and made the day even better. Thank you!
Be the first to ReplyFree and worth it
Make sure you book in advance… very beautiful the contrast between the garden and the skyline is lovely. And can see most of london. Would definitely do it again
Be the first to ReplyClosed terrace
We had tickets on 31th of July on 6pm because we wanted to enjoy the sunset view on terrace. But the terrace were ať 6pm closed and I still don’t know why, the staff didn’t explain that. I didn’t see everywhere any mention about that, so I was really disapointed about that because the view from the terrace was the main goal for my visit Sky Garden.

This was a first time visit to Sky Garden and I can honestly say we were not disappointed. We had booked our table in Darwin’s Brassiere for 5.15 and we arrived a little to make the most of what we were seeing inside. We went to the 35th floor to the bar and garden and tge view from all of the windows was spectacular, the day itself was a beautiful sunny day and with the blue sky and sunshine the view across tge whole of London was amazing. We walked all around before heading to our table, we were seated near a window so that we could still admire the views, our waitress Leah was exceptional she was charming, knowledgeable and attentive when my son asked if it was possible to charge his phone she did that as well nothing was too much trouble and she made time for the customers she was serving. The food was lovely, the atmosphere lovely and it finished off our tourist day perfectly.
Be the first to ReplyStunning Views of the City
I have wanted to visit here for years. I always forget about the ticket release on a Monday morning, so never ended up going before. But in planning a girly celebration day, a friend and I did book it, and to be honest, the booking was the only real negative part of the process (there is no specific time for ticket release which I found quite stressful!) There are 2 queues- one for drop in's (which was quite long) and then a fast track booking. It took us minutes to get through airport type security gates, and into the lift to the 35th floor. We unfortunately only had time for a glass of prosecco, which I felt was reasonably priced. The views were incredible though. We did, at one point, manage to find a seat, but it is really busy. There appears to be some confusion over whether children are allowed or not. There were children there, but my friend thought the website had said no. So double check. Although, to be honest, there isn't alot to interest a child. Don't expect Kew Garden style rare plants etc. It's lovely, but not really what the place is about. I would say the views are as good as the Shard's, and the drink is cheaper haha! Would go again with friends or my husband.
Be the first to ReplyViews were amazing. Food and drinks just ok
This is worth checking out for the absolutely spectacular views of London. 5/5 for the views. The food options on the bar menu were more limited than what I read online. Drinks were weak (and I'm a total lightweight) and the atmosphere just seemed pretentious. But it's a good place to see the city and a bucket-list-checker.

Wonderful views from the 35th floor, you can see for miles and also have a drink. We really enjoyed it and it's free.
