Good for ambiance and amazing view.
Good was good, but would be better if they had a larger menu.
Be the first to ReplyFood was great ! Atmosphere was dead !! And way too cold .
Service was ok ! View is a plus
Be the first to ReplyLoved this.
Can here for my boyfriends birthday with a couple of friends and love the view the ambiance. Great date spot if you looking to have a drink or just enjoy the marshmallow.

This place has the potential to be amazing! The right location and an amazing view. But service, food and drinks, just aren't that great. It took forever to place an order. It took forever to get food and drinks. And possibly just one check in while eating. I expect prices to be high. That should be a given. That, I don't mind. What I do mind is the food quality n flavor. Just bad. Over seasoned. By the time it reached us, it was warm. Not hot. Drinks were way too sweet. Not what I like in an Old Fashioned. I gave this place a 3 for the view. If it wasn't for that, it would be a 1. Very disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyTried the burger.
Very good and service was very good. The roof where I ate was very nice and clean. No complains.
Be the first to ReplyReally beautiful place.
Words can't do it justice. So high feels like you definitely are close to heaven. Good food. Great appetizers. I recommend the fish tacos and chicken tacos. You can't go wrong with the drinks. Margaritas are the best. Made with love. Visits are best in large groups, I feel. Service is top quality. Personally, I feel it offers some of the most breathtaking views in the area. Truly will take your breath away. No pun intended.

The menu sucks no type of steak just overpriced Mexican food I can have at a normal mexican food spot Service sucks for it being mandatory 18 percent tip Had to come if not they charge you 20$ per person if you don't show up for your reservation
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful rooftop bar.
The music is good and amazing view. Service was average, nothing out of this word but kind staff. Tried a couple appetizers and were delicious.
Be the first to ReplyI have such an amazing time at this place in the atmosphere
I have such an amazing time at this place in the atmosphere is beautiful I said at the bar each time that I went and the food and service was impeccable. I am looking forward to going back to this restaurant and having some nice drinks and delicious food. Did I say that the food was absolutely delicious lol.
Be the first to ReplyFirst of, the parking is insane.
We weren't told we needed validation and ended up paying 40$. When we asked the guy If we could step out and get the ticket validated at the restaurant where we dined he said no. So we were forced to pay 40$ even though we ate at the restaurant. We also called to tell the server that we we're running 5 mins late for our reservation and when we got there the host said that apparently our reservation was canceled and didn't let us sit at the table we had picked out. She also had a nasty attitude. Overall would not recommend this place and the food is mid at best

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Spire. I had made a reservation for my birthday and, unfortunately, due to traffic, I arrived a few minutes late. Upon arrival, the hostess, Celine, informed us that we had lost our table and could only be accommodated at the bar. However, we noticed that the restaurant was nearly empty, and there were many unfilled tables. It was perplexing that she suggested we sit at the bar instead. Celine displayed a poor attitude towards us and would not allow us to keep our table, even though she knew there were vacant tables available.I believe that Spire should hire better personnel, as the behavior and decisions of the hostess, Celine, made me feel extremely dissatisfied with the service. In addition, applying my birthday to this situation did not offer any remedy or resolution to the problem. Our bill was approximately $300 and most of the food was cold. I did not enjoy my time here, I would never go back.. especially after being treated that way.

Let me first say if you decide to visit, it's definitely a vibe and the atmosphere is beautiful even though when I went it was quite cold and misty! Just be aware of the $60 minimum per person along with the 18% gratuity. With that being said Buffalo wings, 1 cocktail and a glass of wine set me back $83.00- wings were pretty good and my blackberry sidecar was full of flavor and just right. I say try it out for the experience

We came here for our anniversary! They say that dress code is required...& I saw people wearing sandals & shorts. You have to spend $60 per person & parking is $50. The food wasn't that good as well as the drinks. The service is poor. The only amazing thing is the view. So basically you are just paying for the view....

Went here for my girlfriends birthday, I live 5 hours away in Northern California, as soon as we arrive they tell her happy birthday and made her feel super special ( I had added the note in the reservation). They promptly seat us and offer drinks, food was amazing! I recommend the Bangkok shrimp! Our server was amazing. Then without me asking they brought out a happy birthday slice of cake for my girlfriend. The view is breath taking we wandered off to the other side of the eating area to a private patio are that was amazing. Will definitely be back. There is a minimum spending amount but super easy to reach with a few drinks and food, definitely recommend.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant and lounge area located at the Intercontinental Los Angeles. This was my last stop on a quick trip to LA. My only recommendation would be to take a jacket and a blanket with you if you go at night. I was underdressed for the situation and it was freezing even with a heat lamp on. The food and drinks were excellent - we had truffle fries (bomb) and the shrimp appetizer. A lovely view overlooking the city of LA + good food = a great experience.

Be aware tip is automatically added no matter how many people, I accidentally tipped $220 but that's on me I was cold and in a hurry to try and get to the heaters and didn't notice till the next day. Now for the review: I will never go to this place again. The view was amazing, but the food was probably 2-3 star and the service was in the negatives. Me and my wife took my mom here for her bday along with my 11 yr old daughter. I was excited to see her reaction. They search you before you walk in after the trek up two elevators an escalator and a flight of stairs lol. We had reservations at 6 and get seated in the corner a pretty good seat for the view the problem is it was freezing on this Thursday night so we asked if we can move to one of the many open tables with heaters above he claims that those are for parties of 4 with reservations but we had 5 so he said he could move us to the other side with a heater that doesn't really work. Anyways we order appetizers which were pretty good. The drinks and entrees were ok but now we're we're freezing so I told my group to go to the center lounges why I pick up the $800 tab. They go sit down at the fire pits in the center to embrace the ambiance and try to warm up while I'm paying the tab. A lady and a man name Christian tell my family that they cannot sit there because the didn't make reservations and it's a $60 minimum per person and pretty much kicks us out without even listening to us try and explain we had reservations and just paid well enough and we we're going to start another tab and spend more money anyways. I've been to places all over the US at amazing rooftop places in Chicago, New York, LA, Boston, Seattle etc but this was definitely my worst. My suggestion is go up have a drink for the view maybe and then go to Catch, Yamashiro, Magic castle or one of the other amazing places you will find in Los Angeles

My wife and I visited this restaurant on the weekend before Valentine's Day. Here's my honest review. Food= 3/5 it wasn't the best. But it was okay. Ambiance= 5/5 gorgeous night view Service= 3/5 they were short staffed our waiter took forever to bring things.DO NOT GO HERE ON COLD NIGHTS. They don't have sufficient heaters at all. They offer blankets that are hair thin and useless. Because it's rooftop and very high in the sky it's a lot colder than the temperature on the streets. Drinks= I visit places like this often and the price point on the premium tequilas were unheard of. Price=As pricey as it gets with a lot less quality compared to other places.

I went here for Valentine's Day this year and it was a hot mess. The food was incredibly bland. The service was not great. The ambiance was a 0/10. It was 6pm on Valentines Day, and there was a DJ that was BLASTING techno/party music. Catch a hint people, it's Valentine's Day!!! It was so not the vibe and was such a mood killer. I could see how this would be nice with friends during the day, but it definitely was not romantic. We could not even talk because the music was so loud. Really a terrible experience to be honest.

Had dinner and drinks there last night and it was surprisingly cool. I do not care for LA nightspots or "cool" LA places, but Spire was shockingly fun. The atmosphere was really nice. The food was pretty good. Drinks were delicious. It was less expensive than I thought it would be. I recommend this place for a chill night out. Dress up LA style for a fun night out.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was very tasty and delicious here.
The drinks were decent but not great. The view is fabulous and the music is fun! I enjoyed my experience overall. However, if you go there at nights, make sure to dress warm. It was freezing cold during Valentine's Day dinner.

Absolutely delicious! The Wagyu burger was very well cooked and the aioli sauce made it even better The Shrimp appetizer was crispy and the sauce on that was absolutely great as well - sweet and tangy with the fried crispy crunch! City View Cocktail was fruity and sweet! The view was amazing as well and they give you blankets if you're too coldWe got a nice view of overlooking DTLAEunice was our server and she was incredibly friendly and nice and made the entire experience that much better Will definitely come back for the yummy foods and great customer service

We made reservations a week ahead of time and I requested a window seat to see the sunset and they delivered. The sunset was beautiful! The chicken dish was delicious. Bring a sweater because it gets chilly up there. The only drawback is that the glass windows are very dirty.

I was hosting a colleague from India and she wanted to hit a few spots in LA. It wasn't our original plan to stop at Spire 73 but figured we were in DTLA, so why not. When we arrived, you have to take the elevator to the 70th floor, then go out to another elevator specifically for Spire 73. We didn't know that reservations were required but they let us in and told us that we had to stay at the bar. There were no empty seats at the bar, so we proceeded to walk through another set of doors into another patio area that was quieter. By now it was past 9pm. There were plenty of empty seats/tables. I asked a server if we could have one even though we didn't have a reservation and he obliged (sorry, can't remember his name). He was gracious, attentive and provided excellent service. We enjoyed cocktails, a Mediterranean appetizer and a tiramisu. All of it was very good. The view was spectacular and we really enjoyed the experience.
Be the first to ReplyI was there Friday, 7/29/22 @9:45pm, table 111.
I took my girlfriend here to purpose to her. I made a reservation a week in advance and put in the reservation notes that I was going to purpose to my girlfriend. My Girlfriend said yes. But the whole thing was almost completely ruined by a food runner/server. 'I thought with the vibe/scale of this place, the servers would be better trained, or have more common sense.... As I got down on one knee and started to tell my girlfriend some words I had prepared... Literally as I was about to say, " will you marry me?" ....a server came out of no where with a plate of galbi beef and TAPPED MY SHOULDER, interrupted me, and DIRECTLY handed me the plate of food. ...MID PURPOSAL SPEECH WHILE I'M ON ONE KNEE...WTF?!?!?! HOW INAPPROPRIATE IS THAT? CAN YOU SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING, I AM LITTERALLY ON ONE KNEE WITH A RING IN MY HAND. I THOUGHT THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A HIGH END ESTABLISHMENT WITH TRAINED PROFESSIONAL SERVERS. AND I WAS INTERUPTED IN MY ONLY MOMENT WHERE YOU LEAVE SOME ONE ALONE!!! My fiancรฉ is still beside herself upset. The night would've been completely ruined if it wasn't for our waiter Patrick, who was great. We had great conversation with him, he recommended some clubs, and (most importantly) I saw him pull that food runner to the side immediately... and hopefully explained to him that what he did was the biggest mistake he could ever make as a food runner/server. That guy needs to be trained or fired. HE INTERUPTED MY PURPOSAL to my girlfriend!! I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SPECIAL MOMENT TO HAVE. I PUT IT IN THE NOTES OF THE RESERVATION WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN THERE!!! It's not like I didn't tell anyone. On top of that the food was very sub par and sloppy. Come here for the view and a few drinks, don't expect this place to go above and beyond in anyway for a special occasion. Expect to be interrupted mid-speech with a ring in your hand, by a clueless untrained food runner.

What a special place! We had no idea it was in the intercontinental and were really taken aback by the stunning views and the entire vibe of the place. The cocktails are so so good! Definitely a place to go for a special occasion.
