We have enjoyed Stag's Leap wines for many years and decided to go to the winery with friends. I called in November to make a reservation and they told me I needed to call back in January as they didn't book appointments that far out. I called back in January and booked an appointment with their team for February 17. We arrived at the winery at our scheduled time and the winery was fairly empty due to the weather. We checked in and the manager told us he didn't see us on the reservation list. I showed him the reservation and the phone number (which we confirmed was theirs) and he preceded to tell us he couldn't help us. Finally I let him know that it was up to him to determine if we would have a good experience at the winery or a bad one. He gave us a small splash of one wine and dismissed our group. He also said he had been in hospitality for 30 years, but we found that hard to believe. Someone who had been in hospitality for 30 years would acknowledge the mistake and do what is needed to make it a good experience for all. Very disappointing at Stag's Leap . . . and they weren't even busy.
